All I can say is amazing!!! Winna and her husband recently took over the business and have big dreams to build it. Disregard the bad reviews on this business- it is under new ownership who take pride in their work. Winna gave me the Deluxe Pedicure ($46) with sea salt scrub, hot towel treatment and an amazing massage. She was so welcoming and friendly - not something I always experience upon entry into busy nail establishments. She made me feel like I was the only client she had. My toes look incredible at the end. If you are looking for a BIPOC owned, woman-owned establishment for your nails, look no further. Mini Nails will not disappoint. I was so frustrated by this place. I called ahead at 230 and asked if they had availability for a pedi at 3. She said yes no problem come in. I get there at 3pm and am waiting for 15 to be put in a chair (they are totally full btw) and then water is freezing so i tell them then they warm it up. I'm waiting 5 more minutes and she tells me someone is almost done, just a few more minutes so I left. I guess it depends on who you get your nails done by. I got my nails done by the manager name Tasha before and my experience with her was great. Tasha couldn't do the original nail design I wanted since she couldn't find one of the brush. But she was willing to change the design to my liking. I felt so bad because it was already so late (pass the closing time) she even told me I could come back the next day for her to fix it. I also got my nails done by Pachee and I love her work. I'm a African American woman 228 lbs and I'm aware of my size. The owner of this nail shop tried to weight same me. She was doing A much larger White woman's nails in the regular cheap chairs they have. When it became time for me to get my nails done she offered me a larger chair. I asked her why didn't she offer the larger white woman the bigger chair she replied cause she's a regular customer. She talk in her language negatively about you with her co-workers I wouldn't recommend THE OWNER IS BIAS AND BODY SHAMES. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. This was my first and last time going here. All I wanted was a manicure and they attended me right away because there was only one customer there when I arrived. So I thought maybe I'd spend 1 hour in there nope! Almost 2 hours and a half because the obviously un experienced nail tech took forever to remove my previous nail color then when she finally got it off she used a buffer so hard she cut three of my fingers as you can see in the pictures. I hate how my nails came out it all looks uneven they didn't even shape my nails and the color is very see through. $45 for a horrible nail job will never go back and don't recommend this place at all read more

I honestly don't know where to start. 1) They are way to understaffed. The technician was so rushed. She was running around doing multiple things at once, making it very hard to even try to have a conversation. 2) They don't care what your nails look like at all. After getting my acrylic on and before painting I noticed one of my nails looked cracked. I pointed it out and she ignored it. 3) I didn't get the color I asked for. I got gel polish, told her the number I wanted. My nails are not the same color. I didn't say anything because I just wanted her to get done so I could get out of there. She did my daughter's nails after mine and almost made the same mistake but my daughter said something. 4) This will be the last thing I point out. It is truly the thing that really made my mind up about NEVER going back there again. There is a price list hanging on the wall, it says a full set of acrylic nails is $27 and I got told by the lady working that to have regular gel polish is a extra $10, unless I get special gel polish. That is another $5 extra. By my calculations that would be a total of $37 for acrylic set and regular gel polish, and $42 for full acrylic and special gel polish. I would like to know how she figured my total was $45 for acrylic and regular gel polish. That really made me mad. It's like they make up the prices depending on what they think of you. I did try figuring it out with her but she wasn't understanding me and she had already started my nails. If she hadn't started I would have gotten up and walked out and gone across the street. Unfortunately my daughter was to get her nails done after me so I had to tip her. NEVER AGAIN!!! This place is such a RIP off and the final outcome is not worth it one bit. Tasha is great I've raves about her every time she does my nails. She very nice and will do literally anything you want. She definitely gets 5+ Stars, now the last two times I've gone in I've had the worst experience ever! I wanted Tasha but got done young girl that seem to not like what I wanted, which is fine not everyone has the same taste, however saying nothing will get you farther in the service industry. When having Tasha do my nails they never broke and one time I went 3 1/2 weeks between a fill. Unfortunately the last two times I had to have a different girl, and had to go in once the next day abs the second time I had to call ctwo hours later because two popped off. Went back and I was charged more! (I can understand charging if it were like 5 or more days but calling back within a few hours) And they didn't match up design. I'm so disappointed I really really wanted this to be my place but when spending 76$ -89$ on a full set and $15-20 on a tip I think treating customers fairly, I never would call back but I had no choice as I didn't want to go with out a couple nails for a couple weeks. Super disappointed, maybe Tasha can help the other girls learn how to keep the nails on (they didn't break, literally the whole entire tip and were amazing. read more

I am tired of nail salons charging for the pretty decor. I can only speak for myself, but when I pay for a pedicure, I expect more scrubbing than rubbing being done. That said, here you pay for the service, which is better than paying for the pretty salon space, and a mediocre foot rub right? If and when you come here, make sure you get the guy because he gives the best pedicures and they cost $25 dollars (+ tip). read more

Please stay away. I went here because I had a terrible experience at Expose Nails (cut skin, infection and terrible mani-pedi) so I decided to try here. The same woman, that seems completely untrained, was working here. I shouldn't have given her another chance, but I did, resulting in another cut on my toe from here using the cuticle trimmer like a hacksaw, and another infection. STAY AWAY. read more

Had a long awaited pedicure today and was disappointed with the rush job the technician did. She applied the polish in a very sloppy manner and did not clip the nails to remove excess skin or ingrown toenails, which has always occurred in the past when Mai did them or when I went to Expose before they closed.
