I met the individual a few nights before at a community BBQ. He told me he was perfectionist and actually taught how to tint vehicles, trade shows, etc., etc. perfection that was his motif. After a shotty installation of my vehicle, calling out some defects on the back window as well as the front windshield which had seven or eight visible tool marks the same evening that I took delivery of the vehicle that I pointed out to him at the shop and re-verified after a quick exterior car wash that evening. It was difficult to get him to commit to a replacement to the point that I was unsure if I wanted to do business with him anymore. Five days elapsed until we finally get contact by this person will call himself Nick Nunez, the owner of the business. I met him at 11 o'clock in the morning at his shop for his request. I offered to show him the imperfections. He didn't even want to see them, but he did actually come out and take a look only to be condescending and patronizing towards me like somehow perfection is impossible, and that these obvious scratches in the film itself might somehow have disappeared in four or five days of sunshine, which is physically impossible. I have tinted several vehicles over 20+ years it doesn't work that way it's either good or it's not the water vapor goes away. The smudging and smearing effect goes away, but physical scratches in the film i.e. tool marks perhaps or defect in the film does not go away. So we went round and round and argued about the job in general and he came to the conclusion since he didn't want to do a partial refund like I had asked when I first showed up there he offered a full refund and a full D installation which entail basically tearing off all the film and refunding my money I agreed to this. I gave him the key to my vehicle. He took it into his bay. I sat in the showroom for no more than two minutes, and he came in looking like he was on something. This look in his eyes telling me you know what "I'm not gonna do what I said. I'm going to replace the front windshield and fix the back window like I told you I would and that's it "I said what about the conversation we just had less than two minutes ago??? I don't care about that. You just wanted to get a refund. No I wanted to get it fixed, but you wanted to argue and fight about who was right and since you're the professional but clearly or unprofessional, I don't want to do business with you anymore because things are escalating and I just don't feel comfortable with this situation anymore you offered to do a full refund.!!! So I told him to please give me the keys back and another two minutes my vehicle appeared around front and I could hear the transmission slam into park as he pulled it around front not great on an $80,000 truck and the front windshield has been removed. Before this, I had been bringing him consistent business for more than a year, he worked on my previous car multiple times, I brought in my family's cars, and I trusted him. Because of that, I felt comfortable bringing him my brand new $50,000 car in 2023, literally a week after I bought it. That was a mistake. I spent over $4,000 on a wrap and the very first wrap job already had issues. They scratched my car with an X-Acto knife deep enough to go through the wrap, then tried to cover it up with a decal instead of fixing it properly. When I said I didn't want a decal on my brand new car, they redid the front bumper, but the overall wrap job was still poor quality. My backup camera was even affected and didn't work properly after, which is completely unacceptable. Now that I'm removing the wrap, I'm seeing how bad the damage actually is. To "fix" their mistake, they sanded down my paint, and in other areas -- especially around the emblem -- it looks like they struggled and ended up grinding into the car, removing even more paint and chipping parts of the body. This isn't just a paint issue. I now need actual body repair on a car that was flawless when I brought it in. Took my sister's brand new just off the lot 2025 Ford Bronco that she got the day before to Nick for ceramic tint. When we picked it up we noticed two deep scratches, left a cutting tool, and a towel in the car. I contacted Nick multiple times to talk about this issue and he never replied. Completely Unprofessional Interaction. Cannot Recommend. I feel compelled to share an extremely negative experience I had while seeking a quote for window tinting at this establishment. Over the phone, the owner, Nick, made blatantly racist remarks, suggesting I could find cheaper labor "by the border" from "a guy named Jose or some drug addicts." Using such derogatory and racist stereotypes as a business tactic is not only unprofessional but deeply offensive. Additionally, from what I've seen in other reviews, Nick's handling of customer feedback is HIGHLY inappropriate. I recently had artificial turf installed in my front yard. I needed to add anti reflective film to my windows so the turf won't melt. Dead Eye came highly recommended from my turf company which is why I am disappointed. Nick quoted me a price for two windows to be covered. He came out and 1 window was fully covered while the other was only covered half. I called Nick, after working hours, to ask what happened and he hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again. I had my wife follow up with Nick the next day and he lied. He told her we never agreed on 2 full windows and we only agreed on exposed" windows. The window only done half way had a screen on it. Our agreement was 2 full windows and "exposed" windows was never discussed. I could also tell he did try to remove the screen from the window but decided not to. Nick could've called or text about the screen but he didn't. My son as home, who Nick spoke to, and he could've asked him about the screen as well. It could've easily been removed. Nick said he would come back and finish the job but he would charge us more. Miscommunication happens and I understand, but to hang up on a client and then try and charge more for an incomplete job is mind blowing. Do not give this guy your money. I'd give zero stars if possible. I was charged $1400 after being quoted $1200 for a ceramic coating and got my vehicle back dirtier than when I took it in. The coating was applied with an orbital buffer that left smudges all over rather than by hand as instructed. When I asked if they were certified in ceramic coatings I was told it was not necessary and a myth. When I pointed out the flaws Nick offered to clean up my car but only after throwing a condescending attitude. The employees look like a couple of tweakers and live in his garage. These people have NO IDEA what they are doing. I first got my tint in February and became heavily disabled and was unable to look at their work for over a month. Once I did, I was incredibly disappointed. Bubbles and lint everywhere. Owner was nice enough to respond and surprisingly said they would redo it since it was obviously a poor job and copped it up to a "dirty car" (even though my car was cleaned the day prior when I initially got my tint done AND I called another tint shop and they stated a GOOD shop will still clean the windows). Matt redid my tint and it looks worse than it did before. They cannot cop this up to a dirty car, this is from sloppy work. I messaged the owner again and he's ignored me completely. I even asked if they could strip the tint and refund me so they wouldn't think I was just trying to get a free tint job from them. They leave the inside of your car wet and if you look at the pictures you can see they stained the roof of my car. Nick is choosing to ignore the problem. This is an amateur tint company. Well this turned into 2 hours and I am sure because my kids watched a whole movie and a cartoon on tv. Still not that pissed. When I got my truck back I was happy to see it was done but did not inspect it because I wanted to get home it had been a long day. When I got home my 5 year old son asked "daddy what's this?" And held up a very sharp x-acto knife that the tech left in my vehicle. What was even worse was there was another one still laying on the ground that was opened and thank god my son did not grab that one. I sent the owner a text but it seemed to fall on deaf ears because all he said was something about having a talk with his guys about leaving tools in cars. I think he missed the part about the open one and my 5 year old kid. Ok moving on, keep in mind this truck just cost me 60,000 and has 27 miles on it when I tell you about this next part. I normally use VIP Tint in Murrieta. VIP has been fantastic, had them tint 10 vehicles but they are currently shut down due to COVID. So, recently hired Nick at Dead Eye (mobile) to do a tint on my new Chevy truck. He showed up on time and explained everything he was going to do. Seemed like a nice guy. He finished the tint with one other gentlemen in 2 hrs. Told me to leave the truck with the windows up in the sun and to ignore the bubbling. A few hours after he finished, I went outside to move the truck. At that point, I noticed that he had left a huge mess in the truck. (See attached pictures), did not clean up after his work, and had scuffed the brand new kick plate with several scratches, and had also scratched the A-pillar plastic when tinting the windshield. In addition, the tint on the windshield had a 1-inch fold/crease in it (right where the a-pillar was scratched) I called Nick to talk to him, and explained what had happened. After looking at the pictures, he said he WAS sorry, but said he was only able to offer to put protective film over the kick plate. He said he would not replace it... even if he did damage it. His explanation was he was "human" and he did not believe in putting "the customer first." He said that I should understand people make mistakes. As for the damaged a-pillar, he was not willing to replace it or fix it either. He offered to come look at it, but said even if he did damage it, he would not fix it. I told him that I expected him to fix the damage he and his worker caused. At that point, he became rude and extremely unprofessional. I would avoid these guys. They may do decent tint work, but if ever have any issues with them.... you can guarantee they are not going to stand behind their work or repair any damage they cause. I've got 2 damaged trim parts on a new GMC truck, and a piece of windshield tint that needs to be replaced. Not good. read more

Buyer beware! Does Not Stand Behind Work. Nick put tint on my taillights of my Jaguar F-Type. It started bubbling after only 6 months. He refused to fix the issue because he said tail lights are not under warranty, which was never told to me at time of installation. Stay away from this place. Every window that Nick tinted had dirt, hair, and bubbles in it. He said he would only redo 3 of them. When I asked for a refund he said his policy is no refunds.
