My appointment was scheduled for 5 pm on a Saturday. About 45 minutes before my appointment, Eric emailed me and informed me that he had a walk-in who wanted a tattoo. Eric asked me if I could come closer to 5:30. I agreed. When I went in later, Eric apologized for delaying the appointment, and that he explained firmly to the walk-in that he had a scheduled appointment and would need to work quickly to respect my appointment. I really appreciated that. Eric asked me if I could describe or show him what I wanted. I showed him a couple of pics I found on the web. He said no problem, would probably take about 15 minutes. He sketched it by hand first, then transferred to a computer, and then got to work. It took about 15 minutes like he said and I love it! Eric explained the tattoo after care that I should follow, as well as providing me with printed instructions. If I decide to get another tattoo, I will definitely patronize this studio again! when they run out of time and the owner does your piece! #winner…read more this was my go to during (2) months of flash events (pre-made tattoos that you can choose from at a set cost) for 2 lil cuties on their flash days! i did a walk in for 2 pieces by created emily. i had the extreme pleasure of working with eric and benji --the owner! i miraculously showed up with in a half hour of them wrapping for the night and got both pieces for an amazing price! i do want to come back for a custom piece one of these days emily has awesome line work and eric does outrageous black etchings. check them out on IG @noblehearttattoo there were (2) other artists there but i did not work with them. tbh i cant afford shop owner rates, i never have been able to, so when Benji came over to knock out my cherub i about cried! i can't wait to come back--and yes! parking is a bitch in jenkintown so be ready to pay or to walk from like a weird location. my car was at the grocery store like 7 blocks up the street! *plan accordingly* beyond that this was a friendly environment, clean, fast and artsy! i will be back!

I got an email stating that she was sorry she was not capable for doing my tattoo, I asked her if anyone else in her shop capable of doing my tattoo. It was not that intricate to do. She said no they all tattoo about the same and she gave me my money back. So yeah, I'm not happy at all with the results that I've experienced. Who turns down $800 for a tattoo? The artist stayed 3 hours after closing just to finish my piece. By far the best tattoo experience I've had. He allowed me breaks, was not heavy handed, and did the most amazing job. My first session was Jan 2024 with Janelle - I had her ink me the Manayunk bridge, some floral work, and some song lyrics. Janelle had been recced to me by a friend and she was wonderful, very personable, and fun to talk to! Sadly she suddenly moved out of state so I wasn't able to book her for my next session. Next session was with Gwen which I was able to coordinate everything via Instagram. I had some floral work and words as a tribute to my Grandma that recently passed away. Gwen was equally as awesome as Janelle and I had a blast hanging out with her while getting inked! Fantastic work by both artists, I will definitely continue to come back here for future work! The facility is very clean and everyone I've interacted with here is great. Some take deposits, some don't but they are cash only and do have an ATM ($300 limit) on site.

After she did some fantastic cosmetic coverup work earlier this year on my leg due to some unsightly veins which I felt embarrassed about, I knew that I could count on her on to draw up a Macaw parrot that I wanted since I was in my early twenties many, many years ago. This was important to me, and she did, but to another level. With her help and my feedback, she created a beautiful work of art that I will be proud of for the rest of my life. I also loved the environment. It was an experience to be around other customers and to hear their stories throughout their process. I specifically enjoyed and looked forward to the idle chit chat between Stephanie and Jackie. They made me laugh and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend Cresson Street Tattoo as I've seen the work they did for others and the care and thought creating the right tattoo for their clients as well. Needless to say, but I will be going back!
