I knew quickly that my somewhat simple design (Picasso's Don Quixote), and all black coloring would probably be simple for Mike. Turns out, it was! I could have left a deposit and gone for a consultation first, but decided to just roll in and get it done. I'm an anxious guy and am older, so hanging at the tat shop isn't my norm! The front desk person was so kind and clearly loves their job. They paired me with an artist who went to art school, was a little older (sorry Mike!) and took the assignment to heart. He worked on me for about 2.5 hours and I still am surprised at how inexpensive the final product cost. Mike clearly explained aftercare and made sure I knew what to do and avoid. He also made sure to let me know that 54 year old skin heals differently than 20! A solid month later and I couldn't be more pleased with my tattoo.
