Great Friday prime rib. And lots of local fish options. Solid local participation. This place is anything but dead!

If you are looking for a cute old school family diner, you've come to the right place! It has an…read moreold school feel to it which makes it a super fun experience. The food came very quickly and the service was wonderful. Angelo's has a large variety of American, Italian, and Greek food. We got spaghetti ($9), a gyro ($12.75), and an iced cream brownie sundae ($6). The spaghetti was perfectly portioned for one person and came with meat sauce and garlic bread. Delicious! The gyro was also a nice size and served with chips. The tzatziki sauce and feta blended so well with the crisp lettuce and hot gyro meat. The melty brownie also paired well with the iced cream. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their water. Highly recommend if you're passing through the Northern Neck!

The space is tight Service: waitress clearly needed help with large party, I never got my fries and after she put our order in she didnt know who ordered what. FOOD: THE WINGS ARE NAKED just FYI....personally not a fan but we all felt this was the best item to order. Our group had chefs so we were use to the meals prepared at the rental house for us. Parking is crazy, be prepared. Cheese fries with bacon, they were soggy with all the cheese on top. One order was sent back. The order of bread that came to the table, was not our order but left at our table. The pasta dish was ok she said with the bread. Photos attached

Now let's talk about the star of the night: the veal carbonara with the freshly made bread in house, hands down the best I've ever had. The veal was incredibly tender, the sauce silky and rich without being heavy, and the balance of flavors was spot‑on. It's the kind of dish that stops conversation for a moment because you just need to appreciate how good it is. Between the exceptional service and a carbonara that sets a new standard, this place has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Italian cooking done at the highest level.

The waitress was kind enough to send it back and have it remade (I asked just to add more lemon juice to my dish), but it still came out pretty much the same- hardly any lemon flavor, and the wine was overbearing and sweet. I get picatta from several places, but never got it where the wine was so strong - and sweet. I will definitely come back though for the pizza! I will also say- the manager/owner checked on me and said if you don't like it, you don't pay for it, but that's not me. I took it home and doctored it up. Next time I may try the lasagna- that also looked good!
