I loved coming here when we had a place in colonial beach, since Montross is not far away! I've come here many times and always have enjoyed a delicious meal. I love the sausage and black olive pizza and the service is fast! It's a typical Italian pizza place with wooden booths Italian decor that also serves seafood, and oysters from the raw bar. This town is small but mighty and I can't wait to have another pizza at Angelo's!

    Italian sub

One of the best gyros in town. The Italian sub, my husband loved but I did not, usually Italians have salami and Italian meats. This one was like a bologna. Or liverwurst. Not sure but odd. The mozz sticks- omg a SMALL order you get 7 and they were good Got some carrot cake to go. Edit: so I found out that this bologna is called " mortadella" which is an actual Italian meat and how they are supposed to be made. It's a REAL ITALIAN. The Italian I was thinking of is an "American" version

Tuesday 12" special 2 topping pizza
    Walter S.

We stopped here tonight in order to take advantage of the Tuesday specials. We ordered the special 2 topping special with mushrooms and tomatoes. It came out hot, loaded and fairly fast. Medium thin crust with nice crunchy curb. The tomatoes were nice and ripe. There were also plenty of mushrooms. Washed it down with a cold Miller Lite.we also picked up two slices of pie to go. The service from Gracelyn was perfect. The restaurant is a find a seat yourself buy when we did we were promptly waited on. Supper for two, two beers, 2 slices of pie (dessert) and tip for under $30!

The staff were very nice. The food was excellent, except the bacon and cheese fries. And the interior was very neat and looked good.

    Seafood Pasta WOW!!!

All I have to say is, OH MY GOD!!! This place definitely has to be one of Virginia's best kept secret. From the time we came in the door, employees and customers were the sweetest. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and honest when it came down to the menu. Now the food, well as you can see we only took two pictures of our feast. Family didn't give me a chance to snap any pictures of their meals because everything was so delicious. This is what we had: Fried fresh oysters- best I've ever had hands down. Buffalo & Old Bay wings - fresh crispy delight Seafood pasta- one of the best points blank Steak and Shrimp- tender and fresh shrimp (wow) Kids Spaghetti- kids were asking for more (need to say more) This is definitely a MUST when you visit the Virginia Northern Neck. #Real Property Management Regions (RPMRegions)

Food is always good, esthetics leaves alot to be desired. Place is drab, dated and needs ceiling repair. Staff can be loud at times.

I have to admit a pizza/ raw bar place did not sound good. But the food was excellent and great service.

Self described "pizza snob" here (one bite! Everybody knows the rules): I hate going to…read morerestaurants and ordering steaks and pizza; they are always overpriced and never any good. In fact, since I've moved to Virginia, the god-forsaken barren wasteland of pizza, I've found two pizzas worth eating... that is until today. This isn't the best pizza I've had (but maybe it is actually), but it's damn close. My wife and I rented a VRBO in the same building, and we went to Muse after a day on the sand just to have DRINKS! I refused subjecting myself to pizza from a Virginia pizza place, even if the atmosphere and ambiance was fantastic I ordered a few drinks, and then I realized that food would be nice, so I got some really sub-par cheese fries (gritty cheese sauce that had the consistency of mashed potatoes with the taste of under-seasoned white gravy). The specialty drinks were ok (at best), and let's be honest; basil DOES NOT (!!!) belong in a drink, despite me being curious enough to order one. They were just ok, albeit over-priced, but who cares because the pizza was the star of the show! This pizza was phenomenal, and at the end of our night, we ordered one to go when we left. That one to go, by the way, was gone before 9pm tonight. The crust was chewy and crispy at the same time with tons of subtle flavor. There was minimal sauce (most restaurants in Virginia, I've found, tend to over-sauce in order to make up for their crappy crust), and the toppings that were there (onions and bacon) were working in harmony instead of trying desperately to be the focus. This entire thing was fantastically done by someone who knows what they are doing with a pizza, which is rare in this state. Bravo, Muse, for the best pizza I've had west of Cape Charles's Dead Rise Pies.

Pizza was delicious. Pinball machine a little expensive at a dollar a game. But the worst part was…read moreall of the flies and bugs. They did have the little fly fans but out of I don't know the 10 of them they had all of them had dead batteries.

We were camping nearby last weekend and decided we weren't in the mood to cook. Since this seems to…read morebe the only pizza place near by, we checked it out on a Saturday night. At first we weren't impressed. It's a seat yourself place and the girls at the counter greeted us. And then we sat. And sat. We almost got up and left, but then our server came around the corner and looked shocked. Apparently no one told her we were there. After that though, she was ON POINT. We started with full size salads (we were hungry after hiking all day) - Caesar for Hubby (with chicken), because that's how he rolls, and the Ledo Italian for me. The Caesar dressing looked a little thick, but it was amazing! You can taste all the layers of flavor, even a hint on anchovy. Just the way it's supposed to be. What he really loved was the chicken! It was hit and fresh off the flat top. Super tasty. My Italian was good too - full of fresh ingredients. I did note that the menu pics show it has salami and pepperoni in it, but mine was missing the pepperoni. Not a big deal. The dressing was really interesting. It's called Ledo Romano Cheese and Herb Dressing, which I was picturing more as a vinaigrette, but it was actually creamy. Really flavorful though! It also comes with black olives and pepperonchinis, but I always skip those. On to the pizza - we ordered extra cheese and pepperoni. This is NOT NY style, so if you are expecting that, you are in the wrong place. What it is is a distinct flaky crust rectangle. They don't use mozzarella, either - it's smoked provolone. But do t let that bother you, the flavor is fantastic. The sauce has a hint of sweetness, which I actually prefer. You can taste the tomatoes better that way. It was loaded with cheese and that thick sliced pepperoni that they seem to be known for. Fantastic service, really (surprisingly) tasty food and decent prices will have us back again when in the area. The only reason they lose a star is because the crust on our pizza could have used a few more minutes in the oven. It was doughy.
