Financed a car through a dealership last Wednesday. On the way home from Greer to Asheville car was experiencing loss of power. Called the service manager she said it's probably because I was going up the hill. 6 hours later on my way back to work from break car loss power again. Then went into limp mode. Then engine light came on. I sent an email and called. They came and got the car the next day on Thursday. I had to keep calling for updates. No one ever called to keep me posted. Every morning I woke up I checked to see if they called. Fast forward to next Friday (today) I called and asked about the status. Service manager said the car has been ready and that they tried to call. I have no missed calls from the dealership. I asked what was wrong with the car she said a "sensor". Picked the car up and made the trip back to Asheville again (1 hour). 30 minutes into the trip engine light came on again. Car lost complete power. Could not go past 60. Then 40. Then 30. They lied to me about the cars condition when I bought it, and they lied to me about fixing the car when I came and got it today. I asked for my money back from the very first day the light came on. I wish I could give a zero, 1 star is too good for this place. Do not buy anything from them, if you do you might as throw your money in the trash. My daughter bought a car from them and it spends more time on the side of the road than actual driving on the road. The only reason she is keeping it is because I cosigned and she doesn't want to mess up my credit. I feel bad for her because she has 3 small children and is constantly paying for repairs, on top of her trying to make her payments. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! I just recently bought a 2016 Jeep for almost $20,000 here at Deal Depot, the day after I had it the car started overheating and from then on now until I am driving it it is still overheating, they told me that they fixed the issue when I brought it up to them to begin with, and they have not. I was told by the sales manager that my payments would be 111 every two weeks and now it is apparently 126 every week so that is over $500 a month when I was given the impression that it was $222 a month and confirmed with the sales manager that it was $222 a month. I feel like they have scammed me. I asked to return the car and get my $2000 back and they denied my $2,000 that I put down. I wanted to give the car back the second day that I had it. They also told me that If the overheating issue continued that I would have to pay out-of-pocket, which I've only had the car two days. Would not recommend, they seem to lie about a lot. read more

I gave them $2,000 down and paid $114 a week for 6 months the end of July I asked them for a payoff amount on the car and they told me I still owed $10,300 . I gave them the car back and purchased a car from someone else. I would recommend that if you are looking for a great car and wonderful staff, go to Deal Depot on Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer. My salesman Dan was wonderful. Even though I didn't have the best credit, he got me into the car that I wanted not the car that he thought that I should have, like most salesmen. He wasn't pushy and was very patient. I have had my car for a year now and has had no issues whatsoever. I have had my share of problems with my finances and Katie, Nikki and Tim has been wonderful in working with me, more like blessings. I never feel stressed when they have to call and I'm going to be late with a payment because they are both respectful and professional when calling and leaving messages.. so they repoed my car due to me being late two payments ! but if people cared about people's situations I am 8 month pregnant n had week hospital stays 2 weeks back to back but have had serval thru out the pregn is why I got behind ! TIM was very rude when I had him on the phone asking if anything I was saying to him was relevent to him ! also told me that that this was the most he spoke to me in 19 days after I told him my phone got cut off for the same reason! and I called him as soon as I got it paid by a family member! they only let u get stuff from the cars Monday thru Thursday but told me he can get my id out the car but couldn't give me every stitch of my chlothes that were in the car due to me being in the middle of moving! I mean i didnt have underwear a shirt pair of pants and he asked me why is he supposed to care?! he asks for my insurance company number because I also got in an accident and had to lay out of work a couple days because I was in pain and I had a claim! I give him the number whole time he acting all nice knowing he was coming for the car even tho we was explain the situation to him and what happened! My Brother who is 18 years of age decided to go look at cars up here and before doing so, a couple people advised him that this business is not professional involving payment, car issues and proper business personnel. So he then made a decision to trust these people and they have betrayed him by holding his earnings and his vehicle with unreasonable policies. This system is already against the indigenous americans and the youth, and we can not even purchase a car without going through manipulation. Absolutely worst place ever! I'm suppose to make monthly payments like we agreed but instead they say I'm suppose to make weekly payments. They said I was three weeks (payments) behind when I wasn't. (Even have transactions to prove it). They took car away when I was suppose to take my child to the doctor for an appointment. I was recommended to go there.. first I met the sales person, explained my situation, we landed on a car... he with a list in hand quoted me a price... then I test drove it, with permission paid $65 to have my mechanic look it over... so obviously I'm a serious buyer... I find out there's numerous small things...however nothing to major...so I offer to take it, but at a lower price..suddenly price quoted jumps to $1,500 more, then by the time I speak with the manager, it's another $400 higher! Scratching my head on this. Yes people needing this sort of in house financing are at their mercy, but this was beyond at their mercy...not sure if this was due to taking advantag of people, or the owner out of town! The time the lady does answer she cuts me off in the middle of talking and transfers me then the phone call hangs up. I would pay my payments on time just to wait two days until my car turns off before someone would text me my pass time code.
