My nails turned out great with my usual technician Tom but my pedicure was a completely different experience. The technician Brady had a bad attitude almost like he was annoyed he had to do my pedicure with a shitty attitude the entire time....he did not clean under my toenails, did not trim my cuticles, my nails were all uneven with white polish all over my toes. He was also on the phone during my appointment which came across as unprofessional and inattentive. My experience was…read morethe complete opposite of the friendly, caring, experienced professional image presented online. This was my first appointment with her. She pays for instagram ads to gain new clients, & unfortunately I scheduled. Despite having my appointment scheduled four days in advance, she pushed my appointment back by an hour but was really 1 hour and 40 minutes as she arrived even later than the updated time she gave me. I provided screenshot of her finally arriving & calling me. My appointment was set for 11 am. I still accommodated her without making an issue of it. She also arrived without her handheld lash fan, which she normally uses. All these were red flags to begin with. I paid $340 total for a volume lash set, bottom lashes & lips. (Do not book lips with her either!) She also later acknowledged IN WRITING that she had overcharged me by $5. The much bigger problem was what happened to my lashes. Within approximately 40 hours, the extensions had experienced extreme fallout. The volume set I asked for looked like a classic set in need of a 2 week fill by day 2 & my bottom lash extensions were almost completely gone. When I contacted her, instead of simply taking responsibility, she suddenly pointed to multiple conditions during my appointment that she said could have affected adhesion/retention, including the temperature in my apartment and my eyes watering. That response made the situation significantly worse for me. She advertises approximately nine years of experience. I am the client. I have no reason to know the environmental requirements of professional lash adhesive. If she noticed DURING my appointment that the temperature, my watering eyes, her missing fan, or anything else could compromise retention, why wasn't I told BEFORE she continued the service and accepted full payment? She could have asked me to adjust the AC. She could have explained that my eyes watering was becoming a problem. She could have paused. She could have addressed the situation before proceeding. Instead, I wasn't told about any of these supposed adhesion concerns until AFTER the lashes had fallen out and I complained. I find that incredibly troubling. I was never given the information necessary to make an informed decision about whether to continue a service she was later able to identify multiple potential problems with. She initially offered either a redo or a 50% refund. I declined the redo because after this experience I was obviously not comfortable having the service performed again. I ultimately agreed to accept the 50% refund despite believing a full refund was appropriate. And then she stopped responding. She agreed IN WRITING to refund me 50%. As of writing this review, I have received neither the agreed refund nor even the $5 she acknowledged overcharging me. My follow-up messages regarding the money have gone unanswered, while she's actively posting on insta. She has now ignored me for 3 days, yet immediately answered another caller. Once she realized it concerned my refund, she claimed she wasn't Becca. So after a $340 appointment, severe fallout within roughly 40 hours, bottom lashes that did not remain, an acknowledged $5 overcharge, and her own explanations identifying conditions during the appointment that could have affected retention, she has continued to retain the entire amount I paid. What bothers me most is the complete lack of accountability. Being friendly during an appointment is not the same thing as caring about a client. In my experience, the friendliness disappeared once there was a problem involving a refund. I was accommodating when she was extremely late. I trusted her claimed years of experience. I paid what I was asked to pay. But when the service failed and it was time to actually resolve the situation, I experienced deflection followed by silence. I have screenshots documenting our conversations, including the acknowledged overcharge, her explanations regarding adhesion/retention, and her agreement to the 50% refund. After this experience, I also started looking more closely into the business itself, which raised additional concerns for me. The business continues to be presented to clients under the Bella Lashx name, but the Florida corporate record I located for Bella Lashx LLC shows the LLC as administratively dissolved as of September 2025. Despite that, I paid for a current lash appointment being offered under the Bella Lashx business name. Florida Statute §605.0714(5) states that an administratively dissolved LLC continues to exist but may only carry on activities necessary to close up its activities and affairs. I also attempted to verify her professional licensing through Florida's official DBPR license search because she was performing lash-extension services on me in Florida. I have been unable to locate an active Florida license under the information available to me.
