Our sweet Whisper crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 21, 2024.

I called Keith at 4:15 am and he showed up to my home an hour later. He explained everything to me regarding how the process works. He was quiet, had sympathy, and genuinely made my feelings valid. Three days later he returned with a dark wood box with my cat's name etched on a gold plate and a nice card. My only suggestion would be to maybe bring a basket with a pillow and blanket. It seems a little un-dignified to place the pet in a plastic container.

Hank going for ride in car, not too happy.

Keith was a godsend! he came and took our precious boxer with dignity and respect. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE KEITH DOES FOR US PET OWNERS. he came to the house same morning and helped, Thank You Keith!

In the past when my pets had passed away, I always went through my veterinarian. However, my beautiful cockatiel, 'Little One' passed away at home and our vet was quite a distance away. I found Dear Pet online and called and spoke with Keith. I found Keith to be so warm and compassionate. Keith met me that very same day and assured me that he would personally take my baby and handle everything. I learned that Keith takes his commitments seriously and did exactly as he promised. Within two days, Keith brought back my baby's cremains in a beautiful personalized wooden urn. Keith's word is his bond. I will never forget his kindness and service during such a difficult and sad time. Keith, you are an angel. Thank you for all that you do.

They also provided us with there contact phone number and also an emergency number after hours which I used. My call was returned in less than 10 minutes and everyone I spoke too was so nice, kind and accommodating. The inside of the facility in Carlstadt was nice, neat and clean and very presentable. Eddie was so caring, gentle, respectful, and just amazing in every way. He made us feel warm and welcome when we came for our appointment. He explained the process and answered all our questions. He then brought us in to see our dog "Valentine" who was so beautifully laid out. Eddie gave us all the time we needed in private to grieve. He was so very kind and made us feel very comfortable. Eddie called us a couple hours later to inform us the ashes were ready. They were presented so beautifully and the engraved label was perfect. Eddie exceeded every expectation I had for the entire process. I feel so grateful to him for showing us such kindness in our final goodbye to our fur baby. Thank you Pet Meadow and thank you Eddie for the best possible experience in such a difficult time.

Three weeks after they received my pet's remains they called asking if I wanted any keepsakes. I returned their call saying I did not want any keepsakes and asked when the ashes would be ready. I was told 10-14 days is their timeframe. I pointed out my pet has already been there for 3 weeks. I was told they would prioritize my pet. The only thing worse than having to euthanize your pet is learning their remains have been hanging around the crematorium for three weeks all because I didn't purchase any keepsakes. The lack of sensitivity is overwhelming.

This was one of the worst veterinary experiences I've ever had…read more I brought my dog to Bridge for sedated x-rays after he had already been diagnosed the previous day with elbow and shoulder problems based on non-sedated x-rays. After I dropped him off at 8:00 AM, Allison called me around 11:00 AM to say she was "afraid" to perform the x-rays because if she found nothing, I was going to be upset. That conversation immediately raised red flags. I reminded her that my dog had already been diagnosed with two orthopedic problems the day before. I asked whether she was confident in her ability to interpret the x-rays. She told me she was, but also said there was someone else at the practice who was more experienced at reading them. She asked me five separate times whether I still wanted to proceed. When I picked my dog up later that day, Allison told me she found absolutely nothing wrong with him. I asked how that was possible when he had been diagnosed with both elbow and shoulder problems just 24 hours earlier. Her response was simply, "I don't know." After speaking with the manager, I was told I could pay an additional $165 to have the x-rays reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. I paid the fee. The radiologist identified significant abnormalities involving my dog's shoulder, including his biceps tendon, as well as problems with his elbows. In other words, the doctor who repeatedly told me she was "afraid" to perform the x-rays completely missed the very problems the radiologist later identified. What bothered me just as much was the response afterward. No one apologized. No one acknowledged how serious it was to tell me there was nothing wrong with my dog when there were, in fact, significant orthopedic findings. There was no accountability. To make matters worse, I've spent the last two days trying to get Bridge to communicate with another specialist who wants additional information about my dog's case. I was told Allison would be the one making that call. I specifically requested that someone else handle it, given that she had concluded there was nothing wrong with my dog. I was told that wasn't possible. Any conversation with Bridge feels like running into a wall. They repeatedly remind you they're a low-cost clinic, but that explanation doesn't excuse poor communication, inaccurate interpretation, or a complete lack of accountability when mistakes happen. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. The combination of poor judgment, lack of accountability, and lack of compassion turned an already stressful situation into an unnecessarily frustrating one. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision.
