It truly was a pleasure shopping here with the employees. The disgruntled, inconsiderate seasonal traffic not so much. The people who worked here were kind. I once was in check out and went to pay when I realized my debit card was missing. Rather than letting me come back to pay after work, the cashier used a card and paid for my $10 tab herself. So kind. I went back to repay her with a gift but I never did see her again. This Publix truly does care about their community. And it is a pleasure to shop here.

I have issue with their T Bone steaks we bought in the third week of April. We always grill the meats we buy and always (until now) got fantastic results. This T Bone was reminiscent of Larry (Three Stooges fame) trying to choke down some Plaster of Paris Pancakes. Toughest meat since we bought New York Steaks from Albertsons a few years ago. It is poorly managed. You cannot get service at the deli. People in the cooking area look at you and wave through the windows but i csnt get a pound of delicious chicken salad dished out of the case! I witnessed a female manager going over an employee schedule in front of 4 waiting customers! How bout putting on some plastic gloves Ms manager and digging in to customer service? When the cashier opened a new lane because she didnt want me to wait, i ask why that was not the philosophy in the deli. I was told it is really hard in there, they cant keep employees. My suggestion? Make your management WORK. Work deli, work meats, you guys have the best store across the street. Why does it take an outsider to tell you to step up your game? worst winn dixie ever....as a 40 year resident of florida...i have always been a winn dixie…read morefan....but this location in englewood is the worst winn dixie hands down....poorly stocked...many items empty from shelves...not very clean....clerk i had today rushed me through the check out so fast...that when i got home i found she never gave me one of my bags that contained my dog's food and my donuts....also never gave me credit for $5.00 coupon i had presented her...so do yourself a favor....go to the nice big clean winn dixie at the south end of englewood....because this one is the pitts....really reflects piss poor management....i know i'll never shop there again!
