We went in 2 hours before closing to get fried chicken, had none and weren't going to make anymore. So we settled for a combo meal of cold dried chicken cold dried up onion rings. Flour tasting Mac and cheese rubber hard fried shrimp. They were happy to charge full price for their expired food I recommend Publix to no one! Rip offs and thieves. Never again!! Ps. I'm sure there's a worse Publix in the state than this one, I just haven't found it yet. You'd think with the other Publix closed this one would be better staffed and accommodate for the overflow. Not the case. Tonight one register opened. The people in the deli are slow not interested in helping and rude. The offerings in the coolers in the deli aren't like any other Publix's. Worse publix in Florida. I used to shop off Hillsborough in Tampa. At least they carry more than traditional redneck fare. No Greenwise in their bakery because fat rednecks don't eat that. Everything in their bakery is now marked "Contains Bioengineered Ingredients ". Awesome bakery. The deli selections are atrociou. Always. Not just the selection or lack of.: the quality is bad. Until today after shopping there since opening day I'd rate them 4 to 5 stars. Was very happy for more than a decade ...and then I switched my prescriptions to their pharmacy. Huge mistake but so far what I've encountered at prescription desk hasn't been pleasant. I went in and the woman was very condensing to me . It's just the overall attitude if that one department but after my rude encounter tonight they are being switched back to Walgreens in the morning. Very disappointed Publix would allow this since every department is staffed with good friendly helpful people ...bakery,meats, deli, produce, front desk all great. Pharmacy not so much. read more

Nice store! Always been a big fan of Publix from my days of living in Georgia. This one has some of the friendliest staff. Everyone is genuine when saying hello and the deli department is so generous you can practically get a meal from the samples they happily hand out. Produce is always super fresh and they generally have plenty of open registers so lines for check out go quickly and they usually have baggers which I really appreciate. So friendly here, and this store is clean, well maintained. The prices are very high; $1-$3 more per item than in Michigan. But maybe it's to take advantage of tourists, spring breakers and snowbirds. SUGGESTION for Manager/Store Director.....please stock at night when you are closed. Your aisles aren't wide; it isn't a good shopping experience at your store, especially now during the pandemic. read more

I went to this publix (drove by my publix which is Gulf Cove) since my publix had an employee that tested positive for COVID I went in shopped, paid for my groceries... As I was trying to leave store, two Publix employees are talking (side by side) and in the way of me leaving, I was trying to get around them and I stated "what are we doing here" and as I was walking out of store the one publix employee screams back at me "why don't you say excuse me and thank you" WHY would a Publix employee talk to a customer like that. They are supposed to stay 6 ft apart. (these two had no gloves or masks on) When I went to the manager and told him about what happen, he gives me this deer in the head lights look and says "I'll take care of it" mind you he just wanted me out of the store. While I was standing near him, he had 3 more employees at the service desk chit chatting (side by side). PUBLIX does NOT care about their customers. If they did, they would be taking this virus serious. This is the EXACT reason why people are getting infected.... read more
