My car broke down on a trip to St.George, from Salt Lake City. Dearden's was exactly who we needed. Easter Sunday we were driving my brothers SUV from Denver to Vegas. 15 miles past Richfield we heard a bang, saw smoke coming out the back and lost all power. Living in Texas we relied on a towing recommendation from our insurance company. We are so happy they recommended Dearden. I needed a tow from about 10 miles away Andy insurance Roadside Assistance chose Dearden for me and I am glad they did! The driver got there in great time and as very nice on the drive back to the auto shop. It was close to closing but the crew at the shop got my car in and worked their magic. It turned out that I didn't need much done to the car and it ended up working and I continued on my way. I also received a follow up call in the evening to make sure that I had arrived at my next destination safely, which was very thoughtful because I was traveling alone, and I wasn't sure if my car was going to have a mind of its own and stop working on me again. My wife and I were on our second day of vacation when our RAM pickup, towing a fifth wheel trailer, just decided to quit. After waiting about 2 hours, the Dearden Towing Co. came to our rescue. We were towed 80+ miles to a KOA Campground that we had previously booked. The driver waited while we unhooked our trailer and unloaded the pickup. He then towed the pickup to a dealership for repairs. The driver, and I can't remember his name, but we all related our backgrounds, and he made the trip extremely comfortable and reduced our stress. Blew the Radiator My wife, mother-in-law and Reyna, our dog were on the final leg of a 3000-mile vacation pulling our travel trailer when the radiator blew on our 2004 Yukon... On a Sunday, in Utah :( Dearden's is the AAA towing agent in that area and they rescued my family and returned them safely to the road the next day. They towed the Yukon to their facility, then returned with their personal truck and towed our TT to their site, hooked them up with power to run the lights and fridge and allowed them to boondock there overnight. They took my wife and mother-in-law to breakfast the next morning and even watched the dog! They had them on the road with a new radiator by 11:30 AM the next morning! The nicest people and great service and price. My car hit a tire that came off of a semi and the tire messed up my fuel system when the tire went under the car and hit my fuel tank. They towed me to their shop in Fillmore and fixed my fuel pump and I was on my way a couple hours later. read more

We broke down Friday night while traveling. Thank God it was right next door to a hotel. We stayed the night and contacted AAA in the morning to have us towed to St George which was a couple hours away. They were awesome. He helped us up into the big tow truck and also lifted my husband wheelchair all the way up into it. My boyfriend and I broke down on US-50 E just 30 miles East of the Nevada border with our fifth wheel, a dead battery, and no emergency lighting whatsoever. After calling 911 amidst a near death encounter with a semi, James races to the scene from two hours away! He towed us back to his shop and started working on our truck right away the next morning. Awesome customer service! We broke down in the area towing our large trailer. These guys came right out, picked us all up, towed our trailer to the KOA for us, then took our truck into their shop. Luckily it was a minor repair and they had us out within an hour. It was after their normal hours and they were nice enough not to charge us for overtime hours. While we were driving home we broke down along the I-15 pretty close to midnight. Fortunately, our roadside assistance was able to get a hold of Dearden Towing and they were able to help us out at with a very reasonable response time! Unfortunately, our vehicle needed some fairly extensive (and expensive) repairs and we ended up spending a couple days in Fillmore. The whole time Dearden kept us up to date on the status of our vehicle and the estimated time of repair. They'll even give you a ride back and forth from the shop to your hotel when necessary. Very friendly people, very professional, and very honest. At first, when I was told the estimated repair bill, I was a little taken aback, but my hands were kind of tied. I surely couldn't afford to have the vehicle towed to my preferred mechanic in SLC, so I forked over the money and once I got home, I did a little research and made a few calls. Turns out they were well within expected costs for that kind of repair. Being so far away from other repair shops, they could jack up their prices significantly, but I would have spent just as much in Salt Lake as I did at Dearden (props to these guys). Also, the locals spoke highly of Dearden, and while we were there, it looked like many locals use their services. I would use their services again (but here's hoping I don't have to!) read more

Amazing these guys are truly amazing one of the best customer service people ever ask for James if you get the chance!!! I am going to write a blog about them they are that kind. Lots of history going on here. I broke down and he was willing to work with me to get me on my way to vegas!!! Family business since the 1930s. Will refer this business to everybody they are so good they must be in entrepreneur magazine! I can't believe how nice this James Guy is. He actually took me to the hotel Western Gold and got me a nice room to stay in for the night after I broker down. He inspected my car and find out that it was completely ruined. All for free. The tow truck driver was friendly and great to work with. They diagnosed the repair quickly and were able to get it fixed fast even though there was a major wreck in a neighboring town and their mechanics had to help tow a few cars in for a couple of hours. Call for a good tow. read more

My two year old son and I broke down on I-15, 7 hours from home. I was a little nervous without my husband around to help, but James and everyone at the shop made us feel so comfortable. We had to wait until the the next day for the part my car needed, so James used his personal vehicle to take us to a nearby hotel. He helped me carry our stuff and even waited with us until we were all checked in. Everyone at this shop was very friendly and we felt well taken care of. Their customer service is untouchable. These guys are great--speaking of father (Tony) and son (James)! Last Saturday, my wife and son were headed to a baptism in St. George--it was my son's first baptism and a very important event--he was baptizing a dear friend from high school. Anyway, the car broke down 15-20 minutes from Fillmore. My wife and son were watched over and were able to get to where they needed to be and back home to Layton. I had to make a decision regarding the tow and the repair--I googled and thought Dearden would be a good choice and it was. They were able to pick up the vehicle on Saturday shortly after I arranged with them, order parts on Monday, fix it Tuesday morning and I was able to pick it up after noon on Tuesday. They estimated more hours on the repair and charged me the actual, lower hours. I can't speak for the others, but if you break down in the Fillmore area and are in need of good, honest help--these are the guys. You don't need to worry about a thing. If you need a place to eat, try Cluff's Car Hop Cafe (east of I-15 at the Carl's Jr exit)--we didn't this trip but plan to on another trip and it was recommended by James. read more

Great emergency service they came and picked us up on a Sunday night in our motorhome to help with a flat tire. In the end, we found the tires were also worn that they helped us get six brand new ones at a good price. My car died on the freeway as I was heading to Southern Utah with my three kids. Dearden came and towed us to back to Fillmore. They were so kind as to drop us off at a local hotel and make sure we were settled in for the night. They fixed my car quickly the next day, and got us back on our way.
