first off i highly recommend this dr jeff. his attitude and straight forward approach and listening…read moreto us at initial visit is what every fur baby parent needs. confidence in their vet especially a new vet office at that. I also was told ahead that their isn't a lot of workers so it was told me in advanced. I understood to mean not a lot of overhead that is why costs are cheaper here. As for me , it makes all the difference for me having my puppy's as my life line to be comfortable with a new Vet clinic and dr. my dogs weren't anxious at all at the initial visit. that tells me a lot! was told he needed a dental what that meant to me was teeth needed to be pulled not specified the details only that labs would be done and then i'd be contacted and to proceed from there... i had to call them was told was infection and yes teeth and ok for surgery . nothing abt a cleaning at that point but apparently that was a issue with insurance little issues with payment later on. Once I found out my ins wasn't going to pay needed records from elsewhere , I provided ins co and vet clinic... with records i was then sent a email stating how much ins co was to pay! we proceeded with scheduling surgery for my pups dental! after surgery we submitted claim to ins for the thousand dollars to pay clinic directly and they denied! I then had to dispute and for that they needed detailed surgery notes from vet clinic. with the help of staff and dr we got them the notes etc... at that point ins as only willing to pay 400$ total disappointment End result was we paid our deductible to clinic after ins was able to pay the remainder of what ins refused and the dr gave a discount . What matters most is my puppy is home with me and recovering . I suffer with anxiety and my dogs r elder years now only stress caused was that my insurance wasn't being cooperative after having puppy insurance since they were born. i carry two insurance policy's for them and either wanted to pay a dime! Thanks to Ashley dr jeff and andrew working with one insurance for details of surgery i at least for ins to pay a tiny amount.... in reality i have proof they sent me a hard copy stating they were paying $1,000 and did not! after we paid our deductible ... this clinic in my opinion handled it the best they could and offered me a discount thank goodness. I'm incredibly grateful for the communication i received for them helping me in this case it was giving me a clearer picture of what not to buy pet insurance for going forward having elder puppy's .... we purchase as emergency's as babies and expect they will cover as they age not realizing there is stipulations for elder dogs i'm better off saving a savings for my dogs from the start. lesson learned. thanks again to the staff at pet maintenance for the extra help with my pet insurance it was appreciated ! I should not have had to go thru what i went thru with insurance companies for them to both deny me having records and all! i recommended his facility just make sure to have good communication always not just with this business but in life! that's the only way any thing will ever get done and fairly. kindest regards and thanks to dr and staff . My respects, corina lacanlale xoxo from copper puppy thanks u too

I especially appreciate that she does not overmedicate or recommend unnecessary treatments. Her prices are fair and reasonable, and I never feel overcharged. I highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for compassionate and trustworthy care for their pets.

The real problem though is the rude, uncaring desk staff. When my pharmacist complained that they didn't send a refill request they refused to deal with them- so for two years I had to go monthly to a pharmacy 1/2 hour out of my way. When I complained the desk person cancelled my dogs appointment without telling me and said they would not allow us there anymore. Others posted that this happened to them also. Something fishy going on, and VERY unprofessional! They didn't care that my dog would be out of meds, lied and said they had no appointments (they did) and that they couldn't give a refill (they did). Many online complaints and pet owners having to go elsewhere because they're so difficult. Not worth the trouble!

I brought my dog Mochi here for a dental cleaning. Mochi's dental cleaning itself went well. Dr…read more Wavrick was kind and I felt Mochi was cared for during the procedure. Unfortunately, the administrative side of our experience and the post-op care we received was very frustrating. We once drove an hour and a half to our scheduled appointment only to be told the doctor wasn't in and the office forgot to contact us to reschedule. After the dental cleaning, Mochi developed bad breath again. I reached out to the clinic and was told the doctor would prescribe antibiotics, but due to delays around the holidays, it took about three weeks for the prescription to be sent. During that time Mochi contracted Giardia and our local vet advised against giving additional antibiotics. Once he recovered, I tried to fill the original prescription, but Wave rejected it, saying it had expired. Even after explaining the situation , including that the delay wasn't in my control and the prescription was never filled, I was told I'd have to pay for another visit to get a new one. While Dr. Wavrick was compassionate during the initial visit, the lack of support and empathy with the prescription, the scheduling errors, prescription delays, and lack of flexibility left me disappointed, especially given how far we travel to come here. I can't say I will recommend Wave if you are looking for quality care for your beloved pets.

Extremely concerned with the standard of care provided by Dr. Ruby Murillo on September 17, 2025…read more My dog Peetie underwent a dental procedure where his pre-anesthetic bloodwork was manually entered into the system hours after the procedure was already finished, meaning his critical flagged abnormalities were completely ignored before going under. During anesthesia, his heart rate plummeted to a dangerously low 68 bpm, yet he was still extubated and sent home with zero post-op pain relief, causing severe post-surgical distress. To make matters worse, my cat Sophie also underwent a dental procedure with Dr. Murillo on this exact same date. She suffered a traumatic cardiac event under anesthesia, and I was not properly informed or referred to a specialist. Dr. Murillo's clinical oversight and handling of medical records raise massive safety questions for anyone trusting this hospital with their pets additionally I have discovered significant discrepancies in the care and records I have 3 active complaints against Banfield with the Veterinary Medical Board.Rge discrepancies are significant. If you live your pet do not trust them with Banfield. Dr. Kate Brown and sone licensed technians are being investigated as well.

Over the weekend, things got much worse, and we rushed him to VCA Animal Hospital. They completed blood work , X-rays, gave him antibiotics, and fluids because he was severely dehydrated and hadn't eaten or drank water for days. That's when we got the shocking news: he had an intestinal blockage. Despite how much weight he had lost in such a short time and how weak he was, we decided to move forward with surgery. During surgery, they discovered the cause--19 hair ties lodged in his intestines. I was completely blindsided. This experience has been traumatic, heartbreaking, anxiety-filled, and incredibly costly. But we are beyond grateful to God, the VCA's incredible staff, for helping us in our hardest moments, to the rescue center that helped with surgery costs, and especially greatful for the VCA charity that went over and beyond because without them and the charitie foundations available, we wouldn't be able to bring our fur baby home.
