When I needed to add my wedding bands to my policy, it wouldn't go through for months. I was only ever notified by mail of the problems and was never reached out to in an attempt to rectify the situation. Then, after we bought a home I tried to cancel my policy. It has taken me MONTHS to cancel a policy for an apartment that we haven't lived in for over a month and it is still not resolved. State Farm does not allow you to cancel the policy via their customer service line so I have been playing back and forth with the agent to try to get this resolved. In the two years I've worked here, I believe I've worked with over four people to help me (new people every few months) and I have only been in contact with Felix once. Please-- do not go here for your insurance needs!

When I did leave messages they didn't get returned until after the 3rd voice mail and after 2 weeks. Since I recently had moved and had this experience with this office I figured that I would change agents for one with an office closer to my home. When working through refinancing this year his office was called (because they were the old agent on the homeowners) and no answer however they returned an email saying "we don't insure this property or this person" I have been with State Farm for 25 years and continue to be insured however no longer through this agent. There is no reason that Felix and his associates couldn't have said yes he is insured through State Farm but I'm no longer his agent. Very very un professional. This guy gets a 1star review because I can't leave a no star review. It's based on professionalism, response time and the ability to get a hold of someone.

However in the last few years, they have had a new employee come onboard and she is a mess. She has not a clue about insurance or customer service. She creates so much confusion with my policy until that if it were not for her co-worker who is really knowledgeable and who has been there many years, I would find another insurance company. The problem employee always needs to call you back but does so two days later or never. I am convinced that she is so clueless that she has to contact the other employees to get her work done and the answers that are needed. She must be related to the Owner because that is the only way I could see him allowing her to stay on their payroll. Don't want to not recommend this Company but if you need insurance, ask for Ayesha, she is very knowledgeable and the reason we stay. We cancelled the policy and my dad maintained all of his other policies with Allstate. This week my DAD received a collections notice for a month of the premium for my MOM'S umbrella policy. No phone calls, no letters, nothing. They sent him to collections. I just called to resolve the issue and there was no apology, no explanation and I had to pay the mont of the premium. This is absolutely unbelievable and a horrible way to treat a loyal client. The amount of money is inconsequential, the distress this caused my father is horrible. He's 81 years old and has never paid anything late his entire life. He was devastated to receive a notice from a collection company and I am shocked and disappointed by how this was handled when we called in to try to resolve it. The account has been paid in full. I really hope that $45 was worth losing a long term client over.

We recently purchased a new vehicle on Saturday, when the offices of my local representative were closed. However, when I sent an email to my point of contact, it was responded to within hours! This is what fantastic customer service is! I go out of my way to patronize and use locally owned small businesses. Sometimes this means that you will not always have access to some of the benefits you might get with a larger company. But again, being a locally owned office that is part of a national company is getting the best of both worlds.
