The story I always tell about Dan that will give a clear picture of how amazing he is - is the following. We had just had a major hurricane come through and a rather large tree had fallen on our shed, destroying it. Dan promptly came out to examine the damage. This is not the extraordinary part. As he was leaving he noticed we had carpet out front for the trash. He inquired about it and we explained that due to power loss our sump pump was not working and our basement flooded. His response - "Your covered for that." Seriously - who gets that kind of service and knowledge about you as a customer. No one better!!

I can see that from many of the reviews I have read. My wife had a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon. She was told that they would get to it first thing Monday morning. She called them late Monday morning and was told that there were three cars ahead of her, but they would call here as soon as the knew if the tire could be repaired or need to be replaced. She called again around 2:00 PM. She was told she needed a new tire, so she told them to replace it. Instead of telling her that it would be advisable to put two new tires on to keep consistency of tread style and wear, the slapped a Cooper tire that did not match the General tires that were on the car. This, I found, inexcusable. She was told they would start working on it immediately. When we showed up about an hour later, they had not started the repair. After waiting another hour, they finally had replaced the tire and that is when I found out they did not offer to replace the bad tire in-kind or offer to replace two tires. Overall, the attitude of the service manager was somewhere between not caring and complete disdain. So much for AAA members getting special treatment.
