Back in the day my haven was a place called Pleasant Thoughts; this is where I would blow my wee lil' allowance on stickers, stationery and other trinkets. I'm now a grown woman and to this day I adore stationery stores; Paper Mulberry is the epitome of fine stationery (minus the stickers). If you're looking for unique cards, invitations, gifts, pens, travel journals and other specialty items, this is the place to be. You can literally find yourself in there forever perusing all the displays in this tiny shop in Stevenson Ranch. I picked up my holiday cards including a really cool set designed by MOMA and a gift for a coworker. It's not cheap, but despite this I always leave Paper Mulberry with a smile on my face, it's truly a gem in the SCV.

They have Disney bags, marvel ornaments, Snoopy items, Baby books and animals, Wedding gifts, Dishes and jams, clothing, hats, gloves, spa items, cards for every occasion, and Seasonal Gifts of all kinds. Their range of candles with water flowing as you turn on the lighted flicker of a flame are beautiful and have a lot of different colors and styles. This store also has Enesco figures as well as Lladro women figurines. To top it off they have many Star Wars items. This stores items are all authentic. Something else wonderful about this store is they wrap your gifts for you. Also the entire crew really love the owner whose name is Debby. Hence the name of Debby's Hallmark. It feels like you walk into a warm family when you shop there. When employees love their boss you know that boss treats them well. Lastly they have many Christian items there . I have bought my grand daughter a chicken there that lays eggs, stuffed animals,books, puzzles, toys for baby. They have many things for your garden care as well. Changing room stalls were filled with dust and hair particles. When leaving, penny was still there. She caused a back up demanding everyone (those exiting and entering) put items on the 1 rack so she could count them. Also emphasizing that the cameras are watching us. Seems like penny needs training on customer service or to be kept on stocking duty. Such an unpleasant experience with her that I didnt want to bother trying on some other outfits I found.
