My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this Summer and after many years of saying he would upgrade my original ring, he kept his word and set me loose lol! I started to search further on other websites and also checked out Yelp, Reddit, insta etc.. and noticed the reviews were nothing but positive so I went ahead and reached out and spoke to both Sam and Maggie and after that initial contact never looked back. I KNEW they would be the ones to create my upgrade. Sam was very easy to speak to with regard to the setting and the style I was looking for. He was very thorough, and asked about everything from metal type (or mixed metal), to what styles I was drawn to, to prong types, to band styles (split shank, tapered, compass which I went with) etc. he explained everything clearly and even helped me understand some details related to hight of the head adding a small donut to keep it lower and better balanced. He was great. He listened to everything I asked for and made it all come together. Maggie is the gemologist extraordinaire. She was so helpful with the stone availability, the colors, cut, styles etc. she also supported me in understanding how quality can come in the different grades and shows me more than a few examples that would fit our budget. She went above and beyond to find me the perfect stone. From my initial contact to CAD rendering it took a couple weeks (cause I kept going back on forth on styles), but from CAD approval to Production completion it took about two weeks. Which was quicker than I thought it would be, and the end result is outstanding! I am over the moon! In the end I went with a 5.99 ct. oval, split shank, compass setting, in rose gold! And she is absolutely glorious. All in all I am SO GLAD we went with Debebians they are wonderful people, with amazing service, and supportive through the entire process. Looking to replace the stone in my engagement ring but not wanting to spend a fortune, I decided that a lab grown diamond was not only an environmentally friendly choice, but would allow me to purchase a stone of exceptional quality that would be unaffordable in the same quality mined diamond. I'll make this short and sweet but full of detail. Because when I was researching my days away for the perfect ring from the perfect place- I needed all the reviews. I thought I knew exactly what ring i wanted- the lowest of low settings with the thinnest pave band- I had gone to an appointment at an NY jeweler who's "IG famous" *im rolling my eyes violently* with the same information and I was so underwhelmed. My appointment was with the owner herself and she didn't suggest a single thing other than what I told her I've seen and wanted- knowing I've never tried rings on or seen anything in person. As soon as we left, I knew I didn't want to give them my business. We got back to LA and I immediately started looking for that exact same setting- because remember, I don't know anything else LOL enter: deBebians. They have the exact same ring, i. Am. Done! I did it. We didn't make an appointment although I suggest you do because i think we caused confusion just popping in lol but they accommodated us either way. TLDR: Quality, turnaround time, responsiveness/transparency, custom design accuracy all top notch. Price reasonable. After months of research and visiting sooooooo many jewelry stores, I reached out to multiple companies about a custom engagement ring (eternity moissanite ring with a customized low profile/setting). Sam from deBebians responded quickly with both a CAD and estimated price. I admit I was very slow and extremely picky about certain aspects of the design. I was also worried as I was between ring sizes and I needed to get that absolutely right since eternity rings cannot be resized. deBebians was very patient - not once did they pressure me about making my decision - they understood it was an important one. I also wanted emerald cut stones instead of baguette. Sam was very transparent and said he didn't know if that was possible but would check with his stone cutters. Next day he confirmed they can do that... and at the same price!! The ring was expected to be finished in 2 months but came in 1. Ironically, the day I received the Debebians ring, another store finally responded with a price (about +$1,500 more expensive bc of a "customization" fee) and not even a CAD design. Wonderful place! You can have a one of a kind piece, designed just for you, for less than a ready made piece from a jeweler! I described what I had in mind and sent a photo, from which they did a CAD (computer aided drawing) drawing. I requested a few minor changes to the drawing, then I approved the design. A wax pattern was printed from the drawing, then cast in my choice of metal. We had preselected the stones so the design was made specifically for them. Their price on the stones was about 30% less than what I could have gotten. My classic, elegant design is fit for a princess, and there's not another exactly like it. The design fee was $250 but it was put toward my purchase. From my initial contact it took about two weeks to receive it; they shipped in one day. Affordable OOAK (one of a kind)! I first found DeBebians because I knew I wanted my engagement ring to have a Harro Gem stone, and they were one of Harro's certified jewelers. I hadn't seen a moissanite in person, so I scheduled an in-person appointment with Sam to see a sample stone while I was in LA. Sam was very knowledgeable and provided really good advice-- for example, I thought I wanted a platinum band (more $$), but he advised me to get white gold instead because it holds the pave stones better. The stone was gorgeous and I knew immediately that I wanted it to be mine. I showed Sam a ring design that I liked with pave stones up the prongs, but wanted to customize with thinner and pointier claws. A few weeks after we placed the order, the ring arrived in the mail and it was PERFECT. We were so happy with the service Sam and DeBebians provided us, that we went back to them for my wedding ring - which just arrived today and is SPECTACULAR. I was a bit nervous purchasing a ring that I hadn't seen in person, and that I hadn't seen next to my engagement ring (the "laurel" wedding ring has a very different design from my traditional pave band on the engagement ring)... there was no reason to be nervous, and I should have known that from the beginning. Sam does fantastic work. I sing their praises to anyone who asks me about my jewelry, and even convinced my coworker to buy a custom engagement ring from them, too. We're in another state, so he was doing this without having ever been to DeBebians in person.
