And they called me and told me she actually is in Solana Beach on weekends and did I want to switch. It was very easy, and this location actually has easier parking and a more accessible entrance (you can drive right up to the door, rather than having to search for parking at the Highlands and then make your way over to their second floor suite). I don't think everyone masks here, but Jessie was happy to mask as she would in Del Mar, and I had a very relaxing reflexology treatment, with the mugwort soak. Jessie is especially good at feet and calves. So there might be other folks who are good or maybe even better on arms and neck. But Jessie is amazing on legs so I will keep trying to book with her when I come here!

Then, I show up 15 minutes early to the appointment and find out the door is locked. I waited for 25 minutes outside of the building, called the number on my confirmation, called the number on the building and no response. Why would you have an online schedule system if you won't honor it?? Certainly never going to try this place again.

Disappointing and Painful Experience - Not What It Used to Be…read more I've visited this spa in the past and had nice experiences, but unfortunately, our visit in June 2025 was a major letdown. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The front desk staff seemed disorganized and distracted -- it was clear our appointment hadn't been properly noted, and there was a lot of back-and-forth yelling in another language, which didn't set a very welcoming tone. Once in the couples room, the experience went from disappointing to downright painful. I asked my therapist four times to please use less pressure, and while she acknowledged my requests, she didn't adjust at all. At one point, I even said "ouch" out loud. She would move to a different area, giving me hope things would ease up -- but they never did. I came home feeling like I'd been in a fight with a paintball machine. I had red marks and visible bruising the next day. I do appreciate a deep tissue massage, but this went far beyond therapeutic -- it was uncomfortable, distressing, and anything but relaxing. Very disappointing and not at all what I expected based on past visits. I won't be returning.

I worry about the chemicals, so don't often use them. At least this is a sign of cleanliness so obviously I didn't dock any points for that. It was very relaxing, and I will definitely schedule again. The center itself is a little strange because there's a lot of vacancies in the building, but who cares.
