Loved it. We went for brunch and were sat a a table with a great view of the bay. I had an incredible Bloody Mary, with stuffed olives and bacon, to start. It was perfectly mixed. Came in after reading a lot about this place before heading to Delray. The gorgeous views, food, and outdoor seating seemed to be the highlights. We came after making a reservation. It had just downpoured so the majority of the customers were moved inside. By the time we got there it was no longer raining and the outdoor seating was abundant! The views were great, right on the water with many boats/yachts to look at. Lots of pretty colored lighting outside too. It was very breezy after the rain, but it felt good after being outside in the sun all day and rather sunburnt. Lots of great options for food and they offer daily specials for soup and catch of the day fish. Lots of cocktail selections too. If you check in on yelp, you get $5 off a bill of $20 or more. I love this feature of yelp because it's always a nice surprise when trying to vacation on a budget. My BF and I split an appetizer and a main entree, as we were hungry but not overly starved. We started off with the calamari, which also came with some fried zucchini. Served with marinara sauce and a creamy aioli type sauce. Both the calamari and veggies were delicious and not overly breaded, so the taste was fully there. We split the fish tacos and had the catch of the day, mahi mahi, and we had it blackened for some extra flavor. The tacos were topped with a tasty slaw and a jalapeño, served with salsa and guacamole. Both things were so good and we were happy with the selections. My BF had a coconut drink that I believe was called the coconut orange fresca that he really enjoyed. Even had fresh coconut on the top! We had an awesome waitress named Lisa. She was from the good ol Midwest too (northern IL and we are from IN) so it was like a little piece of home for both of us. She was seriously so nice and friendly, and took great care of us the whole night. It always makes the dinner experience so much better when you have personable wait staff and she went above that. At the end of dinner she boxed up our stuff for us and was helpful with the Yelp coupon. Even though our eyes were bigger than our stomachs on this dinner trip, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. I was meeting some old friends for cocktails and snacks. Deck 84 was conveniently located half way between our two locations. As is now the case in our pandemic world we wanted an outdoor place to meet and Deck 84 fit the bill. We ordered some adult beverages, fried calamari, some roasted Brussels sprouts and french fries. It was all good, the calamari was a little too overcooked but still acceptable the added fried zucchini and jalapenos were a nice touch. The french fries were perfectly cooked with a nice crunch as I like them. The standout dish was the Brussels sprouts. Nicely caramelized with some crumbled feta cheese and some jalapenos. Delish! They also have valet parking which is a nice touch in this hard to park area. But the highlight of the afternoon was seeing my old friends and catching up with our lives. A wonderful, waterfront lunch! Wow, very impressed with Deck 84. Free Complimentary valet parking behind the restaurant is very convenient. You walk right into their outside bar and dining area. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and there was a decent crowd! It was pretty busy. We sat outside as we had a dog with us. Deck 84 seemed very dog friendly! They brought us over a water for the pup. Service was friendly but a bit slow. We very much enjoyed our food! We both had the tacos (shrimp and fish of the day which was mahi mahi). I loved the cilantro taste in my shrimp tacos. I upgraded to include guacamole for $1 extra. Yum! Tacos came with three flavorful, full tacos. We ordered fries to share and the bowl was very large. The bloody Mary's were mildly spicy (perfect for me) and strong! What a beautiful area to sip a drink and look out at the inlet waterway. The inside area seemed old and the bathroom was very dirty. After getting dose number 2 for the wife, we decided to celebrate at Deck 84. So happy with the valet parking because Delray Beach is crazy for its parking challenges. It was a little busy so we went to the bar while waiting for our table. Really impressed with the fast and friendly mixology. Very important to remain hydrated. Samantha helped us and her service and positive vibe made the experience fun. We were seated in the outside covered area overlooking the intercostal and were greeted with a nice sea breeze. Customer Service: Our waitress was super super nicee!! She was always near in case we had questions. And she was also very helpful when we needed to pick. Food and drinks: We were not really in the mood for appetizers but I got a strawberry daiquiri as my drink and it was delicious. Not too alcoholic even tho I would have loved it with a little bit more alcohol. And as an entree I had a fried shrimp taco and omgg it was really really delicious. I loved everything about it. I am so glad that I choose it to be crispy because my boyfriend had it grilled and he didnt like it so much. As a drink, he had just a strawberry lemonade and he said it was ok. Price: The lemonade, the daiquir, and the two tacos came out to be a total of $50.76. Not too bad at all in al honesty. Coming back or nah? Deck 84 has a great location if you're looking for a high end lunch/dinner after a beach day or if you're just in the area. The view of the intercostal is gorgeous and I love the live music that they have sometimes. Only negative that I have is that my mom ordered a cocktail and her glass came pre-tasted because we noticed some bright pink lip marks on the edge of the glass. So that was kind of disgusting but the waitress was very embarrassed (even thought it wasn't her fault) and she quickly replaced the drink and comped it as well. The manager came afterwards to apologize to my mom directly which was very kind of him. The food was good but in my opinion a bit overpriced. Love the happy hour here. The place was already packed at 5:00, but luckily there was a place at the outside bar for us to sit. They have a small, but nice happy hour menu, so we decided to just order off of that. We ordered the following: Old bay shrimp: delicious and crispy with a nice spicy mayo to dip them in. Need just a tad more of the sauce since we ran out. There were maybe 12 "popcorn-ish" shrimp to eat. Hummus: I love hummus, however this was a miss. It had a funky flavor, was topped with cucumbers and tomatoes and some olive oil and came with 3 small pita wedges... not even close to what you needed to eat this with. Won't get this again. Truffle fries: They were quite good. Would have liked them hotter and crispier, but overall they were quite delicious and would get these again. cheeseburger: I did not eat this, but hubby said it was ok. Nothing mind blowing, but a consistent tasty burger and not dry. Tuna tartar: ummm most bizarre display I have seen in a very long time. HUGE mound of rice with some tuna on top and a drizzle of spicy mayo. Don't think I would actually get this one again. It was just odd... not bad in taste, but not overly overwhelming either. Drinks: Blueberry Mojito... excellent - I ordered 2 Hubby got the "moscow" mule. Came in a cute tin can, but he said it wasn't the best he's have, so he opted for a Floridian. The vibe is Bahaman with tropical fans, tiki woven bamboo chairs and decor, shades of blue, reds, and Caribbean colors. The workers are in bright turquoise polos and cargo shorts. It gets super busy on the weekends, so be sure to book a reservation ahead of time or show up before noon to guarantee a good lunch spot. Service is attentive, charming, and remains upbeat despite getting busy. Ordered the Bahaman conch soup, Caesar salad, and avocado toast. Anyone who loves a good avocado toast with a perfect poached egg on top should order this dish. It presents beautifully and my friend absolutely chowed down this toast. 13$ of happiness- highly recommend it. Bahaman conch was a little ocean-y in taste but had a tomato base as its soup so it's not too heavy with a Caesar salad. I appreciated the caesar was presented w/ torn up bits of sliced cheese rather than the typical grated version- I think it holds better with the large chunks of lettuce. The dressing was also flavorful and thick in flavor and texture- not thin and watery like some places. Croutons was also perfect with this. The brunch menu was impressive and what we had so far was good so that we are definitely coming back for their dinner menu to see what they have to offer. read more

Visited for lunch a couple days ago and was surprised by everything this place had to offer. The place was packed as there was a game on and live music, but the experience didn't feel diminished at all. Everyone was in a great mood, in part because of the awesome music, but also because of the amazing food. Our table all got dishes that were mostly absolute hits. For starters we got the fried calamari and zucchini, chicken empanadas, and smoky fish dip. The fried calamari was thick, juicy and crispy - while the zucchini almost felt tempura like. Nothing was overly greasy and the dipping sauces were on point! The chicken empanadas had a great dough and again, not overly greasy. The only feedback here is the meat could be a bit more moist but the sauces were a good complement at the very least. The smoky fish dip was awesome - I was worried it would feel artificially smoky but it was just the right amount. For appetizers, 3/5 of us got the fish and chips and we all loved it. The fish and the fry on that beer batter were fresh + fries were thick and crispy. The other 2 got a burger and fish tacos -- I had a bite of the burger and it was really delicious and juicy despite the person who ordered getting it a bit more done than I'd like. The other person got blackened mahi tacos and they were good for the most part, but the tortillas could use some work as they came out feeling stale: a symptom from heating the tortilla and leaving them out for a while. All in all, I would go back despite the few misses. A 4.5/5 stars in my book, especially because of the great server we had. read more

They gave amazing service. The food was delicious. Probably the best Salmon I've ever had. The ambiance was pretty casual and light. We had our infant twins and they were very considerate and understanding. They made sure we were all happy. We received a bottle of wine for free for a Wednesday special they provide and they even let us take it home so we could enjoy it there. Patty even asked if we had a wine opener and because we didn't she opened it for us and placed it in a sealed bag. Couldn't have had better service! Thank you guys!! read more

The restaurant's location is perfect! It has such a wonderful view for those who sit outside. Even if you sit inside, there are beautiful paintings on the walls. Sitting outside during the nighttime is my favorite because all of the lights come on. Every time my boyfriend and I arrive, we are seated quickly and our drinks come soon after. We LOVE their empanadas appetizer. They are perfectly fried, bursting with flavor, and the sauces, mainly the Chimichurri, is a mouth watering addition to this dish. For our main course my boyfriend usually orders a burger and I order the fish and chips. The fries at this restaurant are perfect. Not to mention their plating. You can tell the staff works hard to keep the quality of their food consistent. Every dish that I have had at this establishment is amazing. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I don't think anything will be able to top that. I definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for delicious food!! read more

While the food presentation was appetizing, the shrimp salmon burgers were pretty salty. My friend's roasted peaches and brie flatbread was pretty good though! The mixed drinks menu looked interesting and comprehensive. Unfortunately, they were either too strong or overly saccharine for our tastes. We'd originally planned to order more than one drink each, but ended up venturing elsewhere as there are a lot of local bars just down the street.
