You know how you eat sushi rolls and for some reason they all taste almost the same? Like same sauces and toppings that it really isn't that special? This place has rolls that are so unique in their flavor profile, I had to go back a week later, their beef pad see ew is probably one of the best I've ever had but portions ares huge. Love love love it

Noutta Sushi & Thai is on another level when it comes to sushi. The sushi here is truly top of the line. I had seared salmon belly, tuna, and even a special custom volcano roll, and every bite was outstanding. This is easily 5-star sushi. The Thai food is pretty decent, but honestly, the sushi completely steals the show. I could go on and on about how amazing it is. One small suggestion for such an upscale spot would be to dim the lighting a bit to enhance the ambiance. Overall, absolutely worth it for the sushi alone.

Since my last visit, they've painted - it's darker, moodier, and more modern. They've changed the Thai chef. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. I had the lobster, shrimp ginger stirfry. The lobster was slightly overcooked. My companions loved their dishes including red curry, pad thai, tuna salad, and peanut chicken. I'm planning to go back and try the omakase. It's all Japanese fish.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. I'm not religious, but I do believe the universe has a way of correcting itself. After the total failure that was 3G's, I was starving. Not peckish -- ravenous. So I did the only rational thing left to me: pulled up Google Maps and typed "restaurants." And there it was. Noutta Sushi -- four minutes away, tucked into the Kings Point Shopping Center. I'd heard whispers about it maybe six months ago. Supposedly owned and run by a serious Southeast Asian sushi chef. But I never made the trip. Look, I don't usually end up in this part of Delray unless someone's in the hospital or I'm visiting my mother-in-law. You walk in and immediately feel it. Calm. Elegant. No gimmicks. And there he is -- Noutta himself, standing behind the sushi bar. He looks up, catches your eye, and waves at you. Like you're a regular. Like you're already known. I've never met the man in my life. I sit down and just watch him for a few minutes. Knife work? Precise. Fish handling? Confident, gentle, exact. Nigiri formation? Dead giveaway. Oh yeah -- I was staying. "What's good today?" I ask. He smiles and rattles off a list of fish that never appear in boilerplate American sushi menus -- the kind of list that immediately tells you this isn't about volcano rolls in the dining room. "Give me one piece of each," I say. "Let's go slow." What followed was, without exaggeration, the most serious sushi I've had in this part of Delray. Sure, you can go to Boca. Sure, you can hit the Avenue. But for the money? For the skill? This Laotian chef is phenomenal. At first, the nigiri comes out plated. Then something shifts. He gets to know you. The rhythm changes. You reach out -- and he places the piece directly into your hand. Rice still warm. Fish pristine. You pop it into your mouth. Pure bliss. Look at the photos. The story tells itself. Go. Absolutely -- go.

Lunch specials were quite good . Lots of options . Fish was fresh. Portions generous. Price was right. Service was good. Vibe felt modern, sleek, dark, and clubby. Tucked away in a non descript strip mall . Recommend if in the area and looking for good sushi .

I made a last minute reservation and was lucky to get in. At 6:30 pm on Saturday it was quiet but within 30 minutes, the place was buzzing and seats were scarce. Julia was our waitress and she was very sweet and accommodating but very busy. We ordered the Pinot Noir wine which was delicious- pleasantly surprised. The list of sake included some very expensive bottles. Paul enjoyed his wonton soup and seafood lomein. I had the Fried Bronzino special. It was the whole fish which had been filet and large chunks of the fish was fried and set back in the frame. I decided never to eat fried fish again. It was overcooked and tough. If it weren't for the basil sauce, it had no flavor at all. We also had a beautiful sushi roll with salmon and tuna which was delicious- 10 pieces. That saved the day for me. Since the place was busy, you must have patience here. The food took a long time to come out, and they probably needed more help in the kitchen.

I have finally found the best sushi spot in Florida. Mind you I've been to the pricey places in Miami ... but this place is a hidden gem. Chef Noutta prepares everything for us. It was better than the famous ones. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our favorite was Salmon belly with foie gras. Amazing!!! Thank you chef Noutta!!!

We've been to this location several times before -- when it was a previous Vietnamese restaurant and before that a Chinese restaurant. The staff that was at the Vietnamese place is still there -- and that's one of the problems. There's a bit of a language barrier and the gals don't really know about Japanese or Thai cuisine. The last time we were here, one gal decided to mop the floor with a very heavy chemical smelling mixture right by our table as we were starting to eat. It was very off-putting. Imagine coming months later to a "new" restaurant with different cuisine and owners and having the same server do exactly the same thing (that is mop the floor with stinky chemicals while we were just starting to eat lunch!). How awful. The food here is not just sushi, by the way. It is also Thai cuisine. They had some lunch specials on the menu and that's what we ordered. What we got was okay, but the portions were quite small. I had their salmon teriyaki "grilled with vegetables". It came with a choice of soup or salad and rice. The small salad was fine with some ginger dressing. The piece of salmon was very small and covered in sauce. The "vegetables" consisted of two carrot pieces and two partial stalks of broccoli. My husband got a lunch bento box with salmon teriyaki, 3 pieces of sushi, and a California roll. His salmon was the same size as mine plus all the other options for the same price. He was nice enough to share some of his California roll as I was still quite hungry. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

By a wide margin, best sushi I've had in Delray Beach so far. Only thing I would change is to make the rice slightly less sweet, but it is a minuscule piece of feedback on some very good sushi.

I was SOOO impressed with our meal I can't do it justice with words alone. We decided to do lunch instead of dinner so we had the great pleasure of sitting at the sushi bar and being served by the owner. We gave him general ideas of what we like and he created multiple custom dishes that simply blew me away. I have been fortunate to have enjoyed a lot of sushi restaurants, famous and not so famous, over the yrs. If you are in the Delray area and love sushi, Noutta is a MUST try ! We WILL be back

Last night my son and I had an Omakase tasting experience where we were up close and personal with Chef Noutta. Chef Noutta selected and prepared the freshest ingredients shipped in from Japan.

We left a credit card deposit for half of our meal and made reservations weeks in advance. Taki Omakase's curated 18-course chef's choice menu offers traditional Japanese nigiri and cutting-edge, innovative seafood & wagyu dishes. The seafood is flown here directly from Japan using specialized torch-searing and Binchotan charcoal grilling, some dishes finished with the opulence of genuine gold flakes. The menu celebrates bold flavors and exotic textures, featuring luxurious accents such as truffle, foie gras, yuzu, and plum. We found street parking in front & opened the nondescript door with Japanese characters. We had one of the 12 seats at tonights only seating. We chose the Delray location which is more modern than the traditional Omakase at the Mizner Park, Boca Raton restaurant . I appreciated the opportunity to engage with Patrick our Michellen star chef while watching him prepare each course with precision & love. We started by sharing Tatenyan Kitty sake that was light of fragrant with a gentle, sweetness and dry finish that was well balanced. I enjoyed watching Patrick prepare each dish some torched, with gold dust, charcoal, and minut details with tweezers. Patrick told us about each course & the ingredients contained. He gave us the Japanese name of each fish as well as the American translation. Every piece of fish was buttery, interesting & exceptional. I ate & ate for almost 2 hours salads, wagu, toro, sea urchin, miso... for dessert we had a refreshing lemon sorbet topped with a baby peach.

My favorite was the Miso cod and Wagyu steak. There's nigiri pieces, a hand roll and a nice sorbet to end the night. Besides uni, my highlights were the sea bream and mackerel. I also requested hot water with lemon and it came in a pot with a tea candle, very well presented! I was impressed. Our dining sets were cleared very efficiently. Wish the servers would be more friendly and smiled more though. What left a bad impression was the server was in such a rush to check out our group, she ran my card twice and then said she refunded and ran my husband's card once but upon checking my CC statement, nothing was refunded so we were charged 3 times for 2 people. When I called to clarify, she said there's nothing she could do as everything on their end was correct and I needed to contact my bank. After much turmoil back and forth, she was able to find the mistake (she refunded the wrong guest) and finally corrected it. Frustrating experience.

The space itself is really nice--spacious, high ceilings, lots of natural light, and (important to me) plenty of bar seating. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, though yes... I tend to make friends with staff at places I frequent. It just happens. Location-wise, it's just around the corner from E Atlantic Ave, which makes it easy to get to without being overrun by the tourist crowds that stick strictly to the Ave. This most recent visit was just for drinks and, surprisingly, dessert (rare sweet tooth moment). I asked what they had and immediately went with the mochi ice cream--no regrets. Four flavors that tasted like green tea, vanilla, strawberry, and mango, all drizzled with rich chocolate and topped with whipped cream. Definitely hit the spot. So yeah--recommend.

You'll have no problem finding parking as it has street parking all around and a garage that's $1.50 an hour (could be worse). The restaurant was clean and has a nice, calm vibe to it. The happy hour menu has a good selection of drinks and food. I like that it's offered everyday and at convenient times. We ordered: 1) Red Dragon and Triole Sexy ($13 per roll)- we liked it! Good presentation, simple, did not fall apart, tastes good. Price and portion was a plus 2) Salmon Carpaccio ($12)- comes with 5 pieces, topped with fried garlic and yuzu/truffle oil. I barely tasted truffle and I would think it would have came with more pieces, at least 6-8. Overall, tasted good 3) Beef short rib skewer ($9)- comes with 2 skewers of bite size pieces was underwhelming, a bit pricey. It was dry and def needed some oil and salt to make it juicy and some flavor Service was great! Sushi chefs did a great job with the rolls and apps. Do recommend for happy hour!

The Wagyu was ordered medium rare but came out closer to medium and was overwhelmingly salty.
