If you're ordering it as it's intended ( for an appetizer... ) share with a large group. When I went, we were just a party of two so we pretty much filled up on it, but it was so good. No one was complaining! In terms of entrées, their eggs that come with this cheesy hash brown casserole is so good. Strawberry and cream basil French toast also really good... to me, it probably didn't need the basil, as that can be a bit bitter- although it sounded great but I didn't love it... But still a really good dish. However, what happened to me there was the waitress dropped a drink on the floor which splashed up all over me. She right away got me some napkins to clean myself off and while I wasn't thrilled, it happens, whatever. I didn't think too much of it. But then the manager comes over and could not be more apologetic. She kept asking what she could do for us... And ended up, taking off our appetizer from the Bill which I thought was very nice of her. My co workers got oysters but they were nice enough to get it sent back and try a different kind as they said the original oysters were too smelly. Hampton social is one of the best in the biz in celebrating occasions for big groups. Our group celebrated a birthday at the Delray location and had a great time. There is always something on the menu for everyone! Ordering with a large group can sometimes be hard but Hampton Social has it down to a science. Our food and drinks came out exactly as ordered and delicious and timely! Our server did her absolutely best to make sure we had everything we needed even though it was packed for on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, on our visit we were impacted by some WiFi issues when splitting the check and had to wait a long time for our checks to come back to us. Which is expected with a large group, but we waited over an hour after we had finished eating to close out. Not to mention while waiting on our checks for this amount of time the fire alarm had gone off and there was not much communicated about what was going on and no one really said anything other than "we don't know what's going on either". Which is kind of scary. I understand that some do these things are circumstantial but when things like this happen at a nicer place, I usually expect to be greeted and informed by the manager. The service was 10/10 and the ambiance was relaxing as there was an art fair going on down the street. We ordered a few items to share. For appetizer, we got the Santa Fe salad and I am salivating just thinking about its contents. It came with mixed greens, peanuts, corn, black beans, dates, avocado, crispy tortilla chips, feta cheese and cilantro peanut lime dressing. It was a MUST! Their oyster special ($1.50 an oyster) is one of the best deals in Delray Beach for oysters and they have a nice martini. We also enjoy the Brussels spouts and truffle fries. I had another lunch at Hampton Social. The food was very good, the service not so much. Our waitress didn't remember after much discussion of the menu that 2 of my party were gluten free / celiac. The waitress brought out a plate with bread on it to one of the gf diners, and then she blamed it on the kitchen staff. I felt pretty bad about my gluten-free friend who felt bad about having to deal with the bread and the items next to it on her plate. This is a big deal to gluten-free people. A server needs to remember these important dietary issues and then accept that she made a mistake and not blame her fellow staff - it looks bad. After all, she brought the plate out to the table. There were other problems with this waitress. Our cocktails which we ordered at the beginning didn't come out until after we received our food, and I suspect that they were sitting at the bar for awhile ready to be picked up. She also mentioned something about the 18% auto tip added to the bill, as if it wasn't enough for her. Maturity level, common sense, and professional level not quite there. This was our first time bringing our dog to Hampton Social. We were happy to see that they are dog friendly! We sat on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. The weather was perfect, and the umbrellas made it comfortable in the sun. We were seated quickly and even got to choose our table. Our server, Daryn, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the avocado toast on sourdough. The roasted tomatoes were fresh, and the greens were exceptional. Brunch here started with me rushing to the bathroom with a giant splinter in my butt cheek. Yes. That happened due to their weathered chairs. I went to sit down and somehow this insane chunk of wood splinted off the chair went through my romper and was lodged in my butt cheek skin. My friend picked this spot because she saw online "girls just want to have brunch" which was a monthly brunch event with a DJ and it seemed fun. Well the place was pretty empty. Yes there was a DJ but honestly didn't provide any vibes different from them just having music playing. They had boxes of inflatables never passed out or provided. There was no bottomless option for drinks. Basically the vibe of a girls fun brunch was non-existent. The service was really slow and the place was dead. It was an hour until we all had our first round of drinks. We shared chicken and waffles and the lobster roll. Both were good but the lobster roll at 39 was not really worth it for the price. They brought out big sparklers and shots of frose for all of us to celebrate the birthday girls. That is what bumped my review from 2 stars to 3. The Hampton Social arguably has the best happy hour around. Their extensive HH menu features a variety of drinks and food, including pizzas at half-price. The HH hours are weekdays from 3pm to 6 pm. Plenty of time to enjoy multiple items! The location is a bit difficult to get to (but that's what GPS is for) as it is nestled in a residential area near downtown Delray. Best parking option is in the garage underneath the restaurant. I had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio for $8. Rose and red wines are also available for the same price. My friend had a Coastal Sunrise, which is a tequila-based drink with mango, habanero. orange liqueur, lime and agave. What a delightful mix of sweet and spicy! Another friend had the Resort Water, which is also a tequila-based drink that includes cucumber, mint, lime, and agave. She enjoyed the refreshing flavor. We shared a formaggio cheese pizza, a Caesar salad that included bacon as well as croutons and lots of parm cheese, and the bang-bang chicken, which included sides of BBQ sauce and bang-bang chili sauce. The chicken appetizer was not on the happy hour menu and the portion size seemed a bit small for the $19 price. It was tasty though, and the dipping sauces were terrific. The atmosphere at The Hampton Social is festive with lots of natural light and a breezy nautical decor. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. The server was very pleasant and attentive, stopping by periodically to be sure our needs were being met. During our visit, an entertainer sang and played guitar in the background. The volume was just right, and she was very good. A perfect accompaniment to a delightful outing. I took a peak at the main menu and saw a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. She constantly checked in on us, refilled our drinks, and was quick with serving everything. For starters, we shared guacamole that was topped with corn and had a side of delicious chips. The Brussel sprouts are also a MUST try! For the main course, I had the double smash burger and it was incredible; cooked perfectly with a delicious bun and side of chips. This was my first time at The Hampton Social in Delray. Ive been to the Orlando location a few times and enjoy the ambience and tasty brunch. While in Delray, I stopped here because it was familiar and I wanted their octopus dish. I'm not sure if the Orlando location has a different menu, but this dish was not the same at all. We ordered two juices, a Bloody Mary, octopus, clam chowder, beet salad, and oysters. I was very disappointed in the food this go round. Everything was just okay, and for the price tag of $142, I expected the food to taste a lot better. The service was good and the decor is perfect for the restaurant but the food was sub-par. The live music was disappointing as well. I typically love the band or act that they feature, the artist had a great voice and played instruments which was awesome, but it sounded a little monotonous; there was no variation in the sound. All in all, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a cute restaurant that offers fairly good drinks. read more

Despite having a reservation, we decided to sit at the bar to catch the NFL games. Unfortunately, things went downhill from the moment we sat down. The seat I was given was wet, and when I mentioned it to the manager, the response was simply, "People come with wet bathing suits." No apology, no effort to make it right, just indifference. It took nearly five minutes to be greeted by the bartender, another five before receiving a glass of water, and close to ten more before she asked if we wanted to order something. When I inquired about a particular game, the reply was, "We don't have anything." After waiting more than 30 minutes for our drinks (which never arrived) we decided to leave. I normally extend grace to service staff, but since the bar was only at about half capacity, this experience clearly wasn't about being busy. It was simply poor service and a lack of care. The waffle was cold, extremely hard, and clearly a premade product -- not the fresh preparation we've come to expect at restaurants. We also shared the calamari, which was heavily breaded with very little actual calamari. The inclusion of breaded hot cherry peppers and lemons made the dish unpleasant enough that we sent it back, something we never do. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was asked whether I preferred chips or fries. I chose fries, but was never informed there was a $6.95 upcharge. This felt like an intentional way to increase the bill rather than a transparent menu option. Finally, when the check arrived, our server stated matter‑of‑factly that a 20% gratuity had been added because it was "policy." This has never happened during any of our many previous visits. While I typically tip between 20-25%, having it imposed without explanation -- and announced as if it were mandatory -- was offensive and inappropriate. This visit was far below the standard Hampton Social once upheld.
