Spring of 2023, we attended the Oak Lawn Home and Garden Show to speak with professionals in the industry. The team over at Resil were one of many vendors present for home and/or property construction. We left the event with a host of companies to choose from. We learned very quickly that contractors lose enthusiasm and interest when you actually do your homework prior to a major project. We chose Resil. The owner Mike, and his team were clear experts of this industry. We decided to start with the kitchen instead of our three bathrooms. From start to finish, the entire Resil Crew maintained a professionalism that was greatly appreciated. I would never recommend this company. We hired them to finish our basement and upgrade our…read morestairwell and they did a terrible job. among other things, they framed a doorway but left 8" shims on the inside which support it, they trimmed a stairwell but it's not level nor did they finish a bottom edge, the baseboards don't meet at the corners/edges, a scuttle doorway was finished on the outside sans door knobs but it's all raw edged drywall on the inside, they hung doors but didn't provide door knobs, etc., etc. In addition, they didn't come prepared and had no idea what was going on when they got here. If I had more energy and time, I should have sued them. Instead I'm writing this post so you don't make the same mistake we did.
