I went here based off Yelp reviews to have several pairs of glasses fixed…read more One pair seemed hopeless but I thought I'd give it a try. The person who fixed them warned me that the worst frames could possibly snap but he'd give it a try. You can tell they know their stuff too because he knew exactly where I had purchased each frame. 10 minutes later he came back with all of my frames fixed. Gave me a new nice case, and sent me on my way with lollipops for my kids. No charge. Seriously good service. I will definitely go back there when its time for my next exam. Worth the drive from JP which is very quick actually.

Second time coming here for my eye appointment. Last year, the female optician was rude to me when…read moreI arrived for my appointment, and when I picked up my glasses. But I attributed it to maybe she was having a bad day or something. When I picked up my glasses, she just handed them to me, and when I put them on, they were so obviously crooked on my face. I told her they were crooked, and she did a BIG HEAVING SIGH, took them from me, and went back to adjust them. She returned, they were still crooked, and she reluctantly made a second adjustment. She acted like I was annoying her. Zero spirit of service. I recently went in for my annual appointment and things went downhill from there. The same optician was curt to me, mentioning to me that the doctor was running "a few minutes late". Understandable. I asked a few clarifying questions to the optician about timing because there was another appointment going on, and another person waiting there, and she started to get combative and nasty with me. And then, wait for it, she called me "honey" in a derogatory manner. Yes. It's 2026 and a female patient is being called honey by a woman who is clearly unhappy at her job. I asked, "Did you call me honey?" She said "Yup!". I asked her to cancel my appointment. Sadly, I really like Dr. Ding here, but I'll just go back to my prior eye place in my old zip code. I predict that this employee has gotten away with a nasty attitude for a long time. Sometimes, workplaces have people like this.... you know the type, the miserable witch everyone knows is unpleasant to everyone.... and somehow, they are allowed to stick around because nobody has the guts to correct poor behavior. Nasty work. Nasty nasty work here.

I've struggled with contacts, changing prescriptions, and chronic dry eye, and her treatment has helped me so much (better quality contacts, special drops for a couple weeks, and thorough exams for accurate diagnoses and prescriptions). I've always come to Lickteig as an adult (previously the one in Natick) and have always found my experiences much better than anywhere else I've gone growing up! Plus the yearly optomaps are great to have for acute detection of any health risks or eye concerns. When I visited a few months ago for bad dry eye (successfully treated!), Dylanee (?) was so friendly and helpful at reception. Last weekend I went for annual exam for my contacts & glasses, and the receptionist was so efficient and friendly (girl with clear glasses and black hair). My mother booked an appointment with the other receptionist, and was really pleased with her service and is excited to visit.

I bought a pair of expensive glasses at Lens Crafters. A month or so later I lost the screw on arm…read moreof glasses. I brought them back to get them fixed. The manager told me I would have to wait for the person to come in and fix them. I let him know I had to be someplace by 10:30, it was 9:50. He told me the employee would be to work by 10. Not sure why he couldn't fix them as he was just sitting and scrolling on his phone. At 10:05 I got up and said I couldn't wait any longer, he said ok, bye. I will never use Lens Crafters again! I went to Costco after my 10:30 appointment and the gentleman fixed them in seconds and I didn't even purchase them there!

My family and I have been long-time customers of the Dedham, MA location of Lens Crafters for our…read moreeyewear needs and they've generally provided good customer service but today's experience was a nightmare. I brought in a new pair of new frames whose lenses I wanted changed and asked the representative Ada if that is something that's easy to do. She took the frames and started to push on one of the lenses to push it from the frame but her hand was at such an angle that the outward pressure against the inside of the arm broke it off. I asked Ada what she could do to make it right, and she said she would glue the arm back on but that it wouldn't last. When I then appealed to the male store manager on duty to ask what recourse I have given what just happened, which he witnessed, he said switching out lenses is a courtesy service and if something goes wrong it's not their responsibility. He also said LensCrafters does not glue pieces back together, yet that was right after Ada had glued the arm back on. Ada accepted no responsibility for mishandling the frames and breaking the arm. I was sick to my stomach because the frames cost $650, but I kept my cool and calmly asked her if she and the manager understood why I'm upset that I brought in new frames with a question and was now leaving with broken ones that won't last, and Ada said "Don't ever come back to the store again." It was an insult on top of injury, and now I'm going back and forth with Lens Crafter corporate to try and have them replaced
