Sam and 2 other guys moved our 3 bedroom house locally in 5.5 hours, and this included finishing up a lot of extra packing that we didn't finish before they arrived on moving day. They also brought a second truck to carry all of our garage/outdoor belongings, which was nice to know that those things weren't co-mingling with our indoor belongings. We were not initially quoted for a 2nd truck but we were also not charged extra for it based on our agreed-upon hourly rate, so it was much appreciated! They assembled and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted, and nothing was damaged in the move. I got many quotes for movers and Brave Movers had great pricing - awesome value for the great work you get. We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. They were kind, professional, efficient, and punctual! My only word of advice would be to the front office, they didn't seem to provide enough communication to the movers and they were short on packing supplies and just how much they had to pack (to be fair they still did an amazing job which is why I'm still giving 5 stars). I would've preferred a phone call as opposed to filling out the app so there wouldn't be as much miscommunication between the movers and the job they had to do. Also, while it wasn't an issue, I got an email about 18 hours before our move asking if they could reschedule it for 2 hours earlier. I would've preferred to be informed much sooner and not just through email but it worked out just fine. Overall I would absolutely hire them again and you should too! (Just be extra communicative about what you need).

An hour and a 1/2 before they were supposed to arrive, I received a text stating that their truck would not start and that they could not do the move that day but offered to come on Monday. I was frantic because we did not have flexibility in our move and it had to be done that weekend. It took me 3 calls to actually speak with someone. I emphasized to Grayson, one of the owners, our lack of flexibility and begged him to consider renting a truck. He said he would look into this, however, over the next two hours I heard nothing from him, despite trying to call him numerous times. I finally received another text stating that he would not be able to come that day but was trying to call another company for us. We never heard from him again! After hours of panic and 100s of calls, we eventually found another company willing to do the move last minute for an exorbitant price. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unreliable moving company before. I understand that things happen but a professional company would attempt to rectify it and also would actually call you and answer your calls. Moving is stressful enough, you do NOT need a moving company that just doesn't show up!

The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice.
