Sam and 2 other guys moved our 3 bedroom house locally in 5.5 hours, and this included finishing up a lot of extra packing that we didn't finish before they arrived on moving day. They also brought a second truck to carry all of our garage/outdoor belongings, which was nice to know that those things weren't co-mingling with our indoor belongings. We were not initially quoted for a 2nd truck but we were also not charged extra for it based on our agreed-upon hourly rate, so it was much appreciated! They assembled and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted, and nothing was damaged in the move. I got many quotes for movers and Brave Movers had great pricing - awesome value for the great work you get. NES Movers were some of the best (tied with Excalibur Moving Company in LA for best movers ever). They arrived early and I swear, NEVER stopped moving. It was like the Hulk had four children and then those children drank double-shot espressos. The owner, Nick, was efficient, nice and hyper. I had gone to Woodstar and bought a to-go box of coffee for everyone, but they didn't touch it. Probably didn't have time between running. They treated everything with care and wrapped extensively with blankets and plastic. Even after a 3,500 mile trip in a moving van that I'm pretty sure doesn't have shocks at all, nothing was broken. They did an excellent and professional job jigsawing everything correctly into the truck and belted it with straps (we purchased straps from them). We were in a midst of an incredibly stressful cross-country move (to say the least), and they were one of the best purchases we made. Everything was done in record time and it gave us more of the day to get the rest of the moving errands done. Thanks Nick and team! Tip -- they use more blankets than movers we've hired in the past; be sure to have many on hand.

We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. They were kind, professional, efficient, and punctual! My only word of advice would be to the front office, they didn't seem to provide enough communication to the movers and they were short on packing supplies and just how much they had to pack (to be fair they still did an amazing job which is why I'm still giving 5 stars). I would've preferred a phone call as opposed to filling out the app so there wouldn't be as much miscommunication between the movers and the job they had to do. Also, while it wasn't an issue, I got an email about 18 hours before our move asking if they could reschedule it for 2 hours earlier. I would've preferred to be informed much sooner and not just through email but it worked out just fine. Overall I would absolutely hire them again and you should too! (Just be extra communicative about what you need).
