I have had such a hard time dealing with this place as my primary care physicians, especially with Angelica at the front desk. I have asked repeatedly for my medical records from another doctor they referred me to, and after weeks of endless phone calls and "oh this is all we have from them, sorry" they gave me incomplete records and I had to contact the other doctor myself to get them. They changed my appointment time after I had already confirmed and didn't even bother to call to make sure I had known of the change. Apparently the first appointment was a mistake. Nobody actually called to notify me. I'm sitting at the front right now and Angelica had just given me attitude ("it's funny you get the email about the 3:15 appointment but not the one after that") and she had printed out the email she sent after and shoved it at me. Horrible service, horrible communication. The real mistake was coming here. I wouldn't trust these people with a calendar, let alone my health. read more

"Dr. King has worked with myself and family over the years to improve our health. As an example for the past 6 months I had experiencing terrible knee pain and told her about this and she treated it with her lazar. I was almost ready to go visit western medicine and go under the knife to repair my knee. The pain was that bad. Review for the receptionist on 9/23/16 - I came in intending to submit new patient paperwork and set up an appointment. I handed it to the receptionist and she began looking through it and asked if I had insurance. I have a form of Medi-cal and didn't expect them to take it, but I informed her anyway. She said they didn't accept it and told me the price of the first visit and I said okay, expecting her to try and set up an appointment for me. Instead, she stared at me for a bit (expecting a reaction from me at the price maybe?) and said, "do you still want to make an apppintment?" At that point, I realized I got profiled and walked out. I came in seeking genuine care and was rudely received by the receptionist, so just be aware of the possible treatment you may receive if you don't 'look' like you can afford this place. read more

I had written a review over a year ago on Dedicated To Health Medical Group, especially Dr. Stephanie King but somehow it did not go through. After I saw the review from Wolf W. I had to respond and let the public know what an outstanding experience I have had with Dr. King. First of all I believe that some competitors or angry people write reviews because they sadly hate other people to succeed. This person is giving a bad review based on supposedly a solicitor call and not as a patient of hers. It is absolutely defaming to call Dr. King or any of her staff "gay haters", they are so welcoming and caring of all cultures/genders. I have spent ample time in her office to know that such a heinous comment is so untrue and hurtful. The staff made up of Cindy, Angelica, and Providers Samantha (massage therapist) Kirstiema, DNP, and Lisa Ma, M.D. have been nothing but kind and gracious to me. I have been seeing Dr. King for over 4 years. I first saw Dr. King when I was having hormonal issues after menopause. I was at my wits end with unusual symptoms that some doctors in the past said it was stress. Dr. King listened to me with interest, respect, concern and pro action. She asked for numerous labs to be done before putting me in a regime of supplements and natural bio-identical hormones. In a short time I began to feel so much better and if I started to feel off, she was always available to tweak things around. What I was most impressed is that she looks at the whole body and doesn't give up until she finds the answer to helping. She provides you with her direct email and responds so quickly to address any concern or question. This told me she understands and cares that patients get concerned, scared or need to ask questions they may have forgotten in the office, this is a sign of truly dedication. I continued to see Dr. King for chiropractic adjustments (she's awesome) and supplement follow up. Most recently I had a exacerbation of my hormone imbalance and truthfully I think I was a challenge to Dr. King and her wonderful nurse practitioner Kirstiema Cowan but they took an even more active involvement to help me. I was frustrated and exhausted. Dr. King suggested I get a brain MRI to see if my pituitary gland (which regulates all our hormones) was the issue. The MRI showed I have a 3 mm adenoma and consistent with hormone irregularities and not feeling well. During this difficult time Dr. King emails me to check how a certain supplement is doing and although I am not 100%, she is relentless to get me there. She is treating the hormones that are being affected. Presently I am having the IV therapy and each week Dr. King and Kirstiema tell me their latest research on pituitary adenomas and add a new vitamin to treat my fatigue and over/under active adrenals that are being affected by the adenoma. Dr. King is furthering her studies, I am in awe of her knowledge and her added degrees will benefit many. I refer to her often because that is how much I believe in her. I can't thank Dr. King, and Kirstiema enough for all they have done for me and staying positive when I may be having a bad day. I am so grateful they came into my life because other doctors are so quick to see one as a cookie cutter patient and what is normal for you may not be normal for me. I want people to know there are other options when some doctors give up on you or have missed something. Before becoming a patient of Dr. King, I was going through a terrible time. My regular doctor was pushing lots of medications and my boyfriend was alarmed about that. He researched my symptoms and the medications and thought the medications might be contributing to my feeling of unbalance. While researching, he found Dr. King. He called her, spoke to her about me and she said, "Let me talk to her and lets see if we can help her feel better." We spoke, I came to visit and we started with a thorough lab report. I went back to see her and started on her program and felt immediate results. A year later and I'm so grateful. I feel like a person again. I feel whole. When I follow her diet suggestions, I lose weight. I don't feel that constant sense of inflammation and discomfort in my body any more. Recently, my general doctor prescribed a cholesterol medication and I began taking it. Without telling Dr. King about it, she was alarmed that my liver seemed to not be functioning fully. She said that if I wasn't doing anything differently that we should do more testing to find out why the liver was now weaker. We talked a little and she said she was happy to see my cholesterol had improved. Then it hit me! Yes, I was taking cholesterol meds. That's what was different from the last time I saw her. She looked up the side effects of the med and voila! It can effect the liver. She solved the mystery. No further testing would be needed and we started a regimen to repair my liver due to the side effects of the cholesterol meds. This is the kind of help you'll get. Where one doctor will say take this medicine and yes, it may have side effects but the good is better than the bad and you should live with it, Dr. King knows the side effects can make your life miserable and will address them. I find Dr. King and DHMG invaluable for this reason. I recommend DHMG for anyone who is feeling blah and not sure what the problem is. Or if you just want to feel better and give your body some great nutrients. I'm a happier person who feels better about her body and health. read more

I have been a client of Dr. King's since 1997, and have always received excellent service, with care given to any symptom or concern. My ex-partner and I even had Dr. King treat our infant son for a digestive problem, and we were all treated with respect for our concern. In response to Wolf W's review, I can only tell you that I have never experienced any sort of prejudice in the years I have used Dr. King, and can only imagine he/she was taken as a solicitation call, which they simply do not have time for. I have done IT work on the computers there over the years, and there is never a dull moment on the phones. I hope Wolf can find an alternate path to the information being sought, as I am sure it is important, but an irresponsible review is not helpful to anyone. If Dr King or anyone in her office gave off even a whiff of homophobia, I would not be a client and vendor 19 years later, I can assure you. I have been going to Dr Stephanie King since her practice opened in 1997. My first visit was for a jammed finger which was taken care of well after a few visits. I trust her completely as she has seen me through the aftermath of 3 knee surgeries, various back and neck issues as well as serious diet issues. I had been struggling with my weight for years and finally through a full metabolic system analysis I was made aware of my body thinking I was "sick" and holding onto every ounce. With her incredible help she put me on a plan that began a transformation and made me feel healthier than ever. I have been an active patient of Dr. King for many years now. I became her patient when I became exasperated with "western doctors" and their "answers" for medical care for my needs was the typical... "Give me another pill" to "treat the symptom and not look for the reasons why the medical issue exists." Thank goodness one of my friends gave me the name of Dr. King! Not only did she help me lose 90 pounds (yep, 90), but she continues to help me with my knee pain (I have OA in both knees and have been operated on 5 times between the two), and the hormone imbalance I have continued to have because of an early in life hysterectomy I had - which my "western" doctor deemed unnecessary to treat. Even now, Dr. King continues to guide me through the labyrinth of health issues and keeps tabs on health "markers" that my regular doctor sees and dismisses with the "you are fine" but she sees and makes me aware that my body is not responding the way it should. I first discovered Dr. Stephanie King a little over a year ago. I found her after doing an extensive search for a doctor to treat my severe hormonal imbalance. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. King and Dedicated to Health Medical Group (DHMG), after searching for a competent, knowledgeable and genuinely kind doctor for the past 10 years! After suffering from endometriosis, and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), followed by a hysterectomy at which time I became post-menopausal, along with the partial removal of my thyroid due to thyroid disease all of which contributed to an internal hormonal imbalance, inflammation, rapid weight gain, skin and hair issues. Dr. King completely and thoroughly evaluated me, and helped me tremendously with her knowledge and expertise along with the help of the entire team of professionals at (DHMG).
