I recently got lip injections with Dr. Moses. I have never had anything done before this so I was a bit nervous. Dr. Moses was so kind and gentle and walked me through the whole process and what to expect. The overall process was nearly painless--either I have a high pain tolerance or she is a wizard, very likely the latter. She was so gentle and went slow and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I was like, "wait that's it?!" Now, if you've never had fillers before like me, let me warn you. You might be surprised at first at the swelling and the feeling of having the filler in there, they were pretty hard and lumpy at first and I was a bit concerned that I had made a mistake! At my follow up appointment I expressed concerns for a few bumps and Dr. Moses went to work, shaping and sculpting the filler and fixing every tiny thing. They say it takes about 2 weeks or so for the filler to settle, but I think for me it took around 4 weeks because now, my lips are perfect and I can't even tell there is filler in there. They softened beautifully, it just took a teensy bit longer for me to heal. So don't be discouraged if after two weeks they still don't look or feel just quite right. My lips look super natural and they fit my face perfectly. My best friend didn't even notice i had them done! Dr. Moses will not over fill you and her work is so so so natural, exactly what I wanted! She has a true artist's hand. Now we are working on adding a bit of definition to my chin and I have never felt better! I just wish I had come and done this sooner. Finally did my first Silk Peel Facial with Vanessa. It was very relaxing and it might be weird to say I looked forward to the extractions. She was very informative and made some good recommendations per my questions without being pushy at all. I cant say for the results just yet as I been through medical peel facials before. Had my silkpeel (aka dermalinfusion) facial done today at Parfaire. It was amazing! This was my 1st visit. Georgia was thorough, firm, and has great hand coordination. I melted during her face, shoulder, arms and hand massage. They use an organic line call Eminence that smells uplifting and fruity. I was told this line has been out for 20 yrs and only avail thru offices like these. I am a skin care fanatic. Used Clarins for the last 8-10 yrs. Have tried many other products and lines in between. Clarins has always been my go back to brand. Facials are incorporated in my routine every 6 weeks or so. I'm comparing this 3rd dermalinfusion facial to my 2nd at Skin Perfect in Glendora and my 1st at Dr. Parsa's in Beverly Hills. Today was every much as great as my 1st. The treatment itself is mostly painless (it's on par with getting a facial) and in the first week the pigmentation rises to the surface of your skin (which is pretty freaky). This review is long overdue. After being exposed to Parfaire via a Yelp Elite event, I took advantage of a deal on their SilkPeel facial. I'm at the annoying age at which one has both acne and early signs of aging, and a little TLC can go a long way. So, a facial here is quite different from other skincare parlors (at least the ones I've frequented) - while Parfaire is elegant and refined, their services are quite firmly grounded on top notch skincare science, which is reassuring. Anyway, the SilkPeel was even better than I had hoped for, with gentle extractions and exfoliation, an infusion of one of the SilkPeel products during the facial, and my skin looked radiant, clean, and awake for the next few weeks. My esthetician, Vanessa, was also able to recommend a skin serum that I was a sucker for and bought - I skeptically used it over the next few months and noticed a substantial improvement in my normally dry skin and now have it bookmarked on my birthday wishlist. I have been coming here for 5 years for everything from , Silk peel facials, micro needling , IPL , body FX , and filler / threads and Botox. You can have all of the training in the world and a huge Instagram following but having an eye for detail and knowing how to place injectable so that they look soft and flattering is an artistic gift . They have their own line of products which are vegan, organic and sulfate and paraben free.
