Honestly the customer service here is atrocious. Every single employee I spoke with was short tempered and rude, I couldn't even ask a question without being interrupted or hung up on. It took me multiple calls to not only find out if they had my car but also how much it was going to be to get back. when I started asking about their rates and how they changed for the tow, they would say "they already answered that question" (when they had not answered my question). Jonathan was by far the worst of the bunch not only being rude but also attempting to antagonize the situation saying things like "why is your voice shaky? Are you gonna cry?", "You must have problems", "I can't hear you, you sound like a little girl", and even going so far as to put me on hold after every question I asked (8 times in total) and then he would answer the phone "DTS how may I help you" pretending like he didn't just put me on hold. When I asked for the manager he told me that there was no manager in and that she was on vacation. I asked for her name and contact information and he flat out refused to give me her name or the name of a district manager or even the owners name. On top of everything they told me that they charge $350 every 24 hour and that if I don't pick my car up by 5pm that they would be adding another change of $350... My car was towed at 2am, 2am to 5pm is 15 hours. They tried to charge me for 48 even though my car was only ther for maybe 15 hours. This is simply atrocious customers service andi sincerely hope that this company takes serious action to stop this kind of blatant harassment. Having my car towed was upsetting and a whole ordeal, but this place did a pretty decent job working with me through it and getting my car back to me. The towing storage is in the back lot of a car rental place, and to get your car back you need to talk to someone in a blue booth through a mail slot. Seems a little sketchy but once I was able to get the worker's attention, I was able to get my car back pretty quickly. read more

Without any cause, no accident and while driving West bound on the 22 freeway at 1730hrs, the tow trucks driver recklessness passed us on the right side emergency lane, cut us off into the exit lane we were in and exited the freeway. To ensure the business owner understands this review clearly, we were in the exit lane leading up to the freeway exit, and his driver passed us on the right shoulder in f the exit lane, cut us off in the exit lane and exited the freeway. This is the worst business ever. DTS had my car illegally towed from my apartment complex at 3 am for no reason. I had parked in a future resident parking where I am allowed to park with no permit from the hours of 6:30pm to 8am, which I did. When I went looking for my car and realized it was gone, I called my leasing office and they had no information about it. They even pulled up the camera footage to verify that I followed the hours and I did. Since it is private property they are required to let my apartment know but they did not. My car was not even in their lot for 10 hours and they charged me $480!!!! I had no choice but to pay the money and I reported them as well. They treated my dad with very little respect and belittled him due to the little English that he knew. Setting that aside my personal experience was that I was trying to get my moms car out and they kept record of my licenses which is understandable. But when handing it back he left it on the counter and then proceeds to flick it off the table and tells my father to pick it up. Unacceptable. As I said horrible customer service. Disgusted that this company or any other feels $375 is justifiable for preying and towing a vehicle. They charge ridiculous fees such as "gate fee" for punching a code into a keypad. Confirmed it took them approx 1 hour, that included the 20 mins they had possession of the vehicle. Criminal behavior from a company who preys on vulnerabilities of victims. Quoted me for $75 and said there was no additional fees. Here I am at the lot being charged $275 because they feel it's right to charge people $205 for an involuntary tow as opposed to a voluntary one. You guys were honestly amazing, 15 stars if I could give it to you! I'm unsure who I spoke to on the phone at DTS but their customer service was on point. They assisted me getting my information for the car I needed towed, were patient and told me they'd have a driver on the way. Less than 5 minutes later my driver, Ray, showed up and he was a "ray" of sunshine! This man deserves a raise. He loves his job, he's kind, he goes above and beyond. Tow truck drivers get a bad reputation for the context of the job and unhappy people getting their cars towed but you can't hate on Ray. Seriously.
