We knew it was the heating core because there was coolant inside my car on the passenger floor. When we called back to ask what they did after we got it back someone hung up on my bf twice before. So they stated on the phone that they took off the intake gasket and they didnt need to do that to take off the heater core. Then hang up. I just called again today and stated that I wanted a detailed receipt, (which they knew exactly who and what car that I had done with out saying) then he starts describing what they did I stated I wanted it on a detailed receipt! He said that I have the receipt which I do yes, and its noted that they didn't do what they were supposed to. So now its at another shop with milky oil because they didn't do their part. So DO NOT GO HERE! Also they let people answer the phone that can't speak English!! If I could give no stars I would!!! Also he again hung up on me when I called and stated he was gonna call the police I told him go ahead. He is the one that's a scammer!! there's also a couple of Reviews that stated he over heated their cars.

The next day they had my vehicle and they diagnosed it. The engine was blown or at least had a major defect and needed to be replaced. They didn't try to upsell me just to get money. I'm coming to these guys for five years and was recommended this company by my brother-in-law who's been coming to them for a minimum of 10 years. Respectful, trustful and honest in an industry that is not always that way. I've been a mechanic since the 80s and I would recommend this company to anybody.

It seems that I was wearing my ring of invisibility when I went there, because I stood there for 15 minutes while the manager answered the phone twice, kept on typing, and didn't acknowledge me even once. When I finally got her attention, she said I would have to leave my car until the end of the day (6 hours!) for a tire change. What a night and day difference between Firestone and Pep Boys. I was greeted within a minute of walking in. I was told I would be next in line to get my tire worked on. Blaise first told me about the low price tires, rather than steering me to the most expensive ones. Then, he walked me over to the tire rack to see what the tread looked and felt like. Impressive. I got one of the Kelly tires, which was high quality and about $100 installed. And, it was fast! I'm not kidding: there was about half an hour from the time I walked in the door to the time I left with a new tire on my car. And, since it's Pep Boys, it's also a fully stocked (and surprisingly clean) auto parts store. I'll definitely come back for my tire needs, but the massive selection of parts means I'll be back again for more mundane things, too.

I call this place and he quoted me a pad price and install and he was 1.5 miles away. He said it'd take over 2hrs to fix but he did it in less time and gave me a diagnostic very quickly so I knew what I was up against. It's not glamorous and honestly I don't want my mechanic glamorous, I want one that gets his hands dirty and gets the job done and that's exactly what I got. He got me out of a pinch and I'm really glad I was in the area, I would go back here.
