There's a reason why I still come here for all my automotive needs and it can be summed up in one word: INTEGRITY. The Utica location is the absolute best one of them all in SE Michigan in my opinion. The staff is professional and courteous and they continue their MO of only providing the services you want and need without "finding" any issues with your vehicle. The staff is honest and the mechanics perform excellent service. I've had several services performed on my 25 year old car and it still runs smoothly. I've tried other locations in the past and the service just isn't the same. For the past few years, I've been devoted to this one in Utica. He suggested a whole list of things that had nothing to do with my initial visit. Also, the communication was not well. I told him to not go through with anything until I approve it. I just wanted to know what the warranty for my vehicle would cover but because it was covered, he went on ahead and started working on it, which I did not approve of. Then, once he changed the alternator, the radiator and the oil pump a few days, later my car overheated. Had it checked out, it was because the belt was not put on correctly and there was no water in the radiator or wherever water was supposed to be. Lastly, the pricing! They gouge your eyes out because they know you do not know what's going on and they're taking full advantage of that. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop. I'm not sure how they have so many good reviews on google.

I picked up the vehicle , and 2 days later the gauges were flat, and the vehicle will not start . I did a search and figured out the ecm had a bad connection . I replaced the ecm , and havent had a problem since . I called K&L . They said Im glad you figured it out , but the fuel pump was bad .

I was informed they had no idea who I was and didn't know how to get a hold of me. Even though they had texted to confirm the appointment and I left a business card (cell/office/email) with my keys. In the end, my work truck spent the day in their parking lot while they couldn't figure out how to call me. What a joke.
