I was accepted this past year to show my 2008 Bullitt Mustang at the Muscle Car and Corvette…read moreNationals (MCACN) held in Rosemont 11/17/18 - 11/18/18. MCACN is the world's largest all indoor car show devoted to muscle cars, dealer-built supercars and Corvettes. There were cars on display valued from $7,000 to $6,000,000. They had attendees from 40 states, and several countries with the furthest attendee bringing their car from Australia. 30,000 + attendees were there to view the cars on display. Knowing how strict the judging was going to be, I recalled meeting Frank the owner of Luminescent Detailing at a local car show in Gurnee. He impressed me with his car and knowledge of auto detailing. I called Frank and informed him of the upcoming MCACN show and although I felt my car was in great shape, I needed to take it to the next level to score well in the show. Although Frank's team was very busy he made the time to detail my Bullitt. I asked that he address the exterior finish, interior, engine compartment and undercarriage. After I dropped the car off, Frank immediately called to inform me of several imperfections in the finish that needed to be cared for to restore it to show quality finish. This kind of attention and honesty is why Luminescence Detailing is the best place for professional finish services in the Chicagoland area. When I met Frank the Friday of the show, the Bullitt looked better than it did on the original showroom floor. It has been transformed into a masterpiece and it gave me the confidence going in to the MCACN show that we would be displaying a winner. After we unloaded the car and the Bullitt was staged, I noticed a few scratches in the jewelry store lights that could cost in point deductions. I called Frank for advice on how to rectify the issues and he did not hesitate in stating he would be right over to take care of this for me. After Frank did his magic the scratches were removed, and the Bullitt was perfect even under the bright lights. This caliper of service is rare and a testament to how Frank treats all his customers by providing detailing services to the highest level of perfection. On that Saturday, the MCACN judge took 45 minutes to inspect the our Bullitt and we earned the top award which was a Blue-Ribbon Award with a score of 998 out of possible 1000 in the Street Stock Modified division. The exterior, interior and engine compartment scored 775 out of 775. The 2 points deducted with the undercarriage for an oxidized brake line and a tiny scratch under bumper which I think occurred during loading or unloading. This MCACN Blue Ribbon award would not have been possible without the excellent work by the Luminescent Detailing team and Frank. I plan to bring Frank my 2003 Mach 1 Mustang to work his magic on this spring as I prepare it for the 2019 MCACN show. From the beginning, Rei set the tone by reviewing my project thoroughly, being upfront about costs, and even asking follow-up questions to make sure his team could deliver the work at the highest standard. That professionalism was my first green flag. Mark handled the work on my car and went above and beyond my request. I asked for before-and-after photos to help me track carbon buildup for future maintenance, and not only did he deliver, he provided even more detail than expected. The results spoke for themselves: No more idling during cold starts, City MPG improved from 24-26 to 30-32, when I first bought the car off the showroom floor I was so impressed with the quality and transparency that I immediately scheduled additional maintenance and performance upgrades. They have lost a customer for life. I've been here for car washes many times over the years with no…read moreissue. Today, for the first time, I also decided to have them vacuum the carpet. It typically comes with interior window cleaning. Since I have tint on the front windows, I told the young man that I did not want my windows cleaned and to leave them alone. He wrote with a marker on the driver window - I reiterated that it was tinted and not to do anything with the interior windows. He wiped off the marker and did some minor damage. It appears he did some damage. When the car was done, as I drove away, I noticed other numerous small holes in the driver side tint. I went back and told the same young man that my tint was damaged. He called over another gentleman who was quite rude. He was never introduced so I have no idea who he was. He said no one touched the window. I disagreed and he said, well, you can watch the tape. I said yes let's do that. He then quickly walked away into the building (I guess I was to follow...?). I went to the lobby - no idea what I was supposed to do. After about 15 minutes or so, he popped up in the lobby and said the staff said I never told anyone not to do the windows. A blatant lie. He disappeared again. Came back maybe half hour later and asked did I have the receipt. I said no because the machine the young man was using to take my order jammed and nothing was working. I reiterated that I wanted to see the tapes - entry to exit. He disappeared again without saying a word. After close to an hour waiting with no word, I left. Window tint isn't that expensive. I understand mistakes can happen. What I really resent is the denial that they did anything and the lying - everyone connected to the situation lied. Just take responsibility and handle it in a professional manner. I won't be going back there for anything.

Brought my car there for insurance work. State Farm has a warranty on corrosion for work previously…read moredone which my car had a fender replaced there. They were very uncooperative. They wouldn't work with me on getting this situation resolved. They didn't return phone calls. My insurance agent said I was supposed to do a 3 way call with them and State Farm claims and that didn't happen. Finally it got worked out somehow and I was supposed to bring my car in. They would usually call me when I had a claim but not this time and they didn't call me to pick it up. I was not given any paperwork. The work was done ok . Paint didn't match up too well but I'll live with it.
