It is a long drawn out story so, cliffnotes: - Limo was late. - Our contract stated that we were supposed to have a professional camera with our excursion. The "detail guy forgot to put it in the limo." We were excited and counted on those pictures. LUCKILY some girls brought their digital cameras. - Air Conditioning was NOT working. Driver said it was on but there was no way it was on COLD. A/C was horrible. The contract stated "Not responsible for days over 90 degrees". My friend called and asked if the A/C was going to be ok, it is Livermore. Curt said, no problem, works fine, that is for extreme cases (what was said in the contract). It was 89 degrees in Livermore. Not extreme heat. -We cut the day short due to the hot weather. We were all extremely uncomfortable. Monday, my friend and I both emailed Bay Area Racing Limos to explain our displeasure with our event... NOTHING back. Funny, when we had questions about the excursion or accepted the contract we received an email back PROMPTLY. Curt hooked me up with a discount on the 14 passenger disco limo with fireplace, however, I would've rather not gotten a discount and had a pleasurable experience. Definitely NOT treated like royalty.

None have been as easy to deal with, or had as nice vehicles, as San Francisco Bay Area Limousines. Sure, we get a little rowdy on these trips, but Rich, who was our driver and also the president of the company, was very cool with us as long as we were respectful to his vehicle. I dread it because I have to take the company approved limo service, LeGrande Affaire. When they're good, they're good, but when they're bad, they just don't show up. For the most part, the drivers are courteous and know when to keep quiet when I'm catching up on some much needed sleep. Others can read the situation and will fill me in on the local sports action, after a week abroad watching nothing but auto racing, sailing, and chess. The two star rating is reflected on the dispatchers, who have left me scrambling to find a ride to the airport at the last minute and have also forgotten me outside baggage claim after a looong trip. I'm more inclined to ask someone to drive me rather than risk it with LGA.
