First, with booking, super easy and they even called the day before to see if there was anything we needed! Second, the driver (Ronnie) was very professional, showed up a little early, and made sure we had an amazing time! Third, the party bus we had was crazy! In a good way! Music sounded fabulous, lights were fun, ice chest/glasses were perfect and clean seats were comfy! Overall everything went perfect! I highly recommend this company. Ok, so I contacted Cloud 9 via their chat service first and got a quote. I called the next day and set up transportation from San Jose to SFO. I wanted an 8-10 passenger limo and I felt I got a pretty good price. ($130) So why the one star you ask? So at 7 am, when they were supposed to be at my house, the driver called and advised us that he was going to be a half hour late. OH SHIT! Instantly we are worried that we might miss our flight! He shows at 7:25. We rush out and get on the road. The limo was and older black stretch. The inside appeared clean, but there were smudges all over the inside of the windows and small little flies were inside. It looked like it have been out on late night party trip and was half assed cleaned. I was pretty bummed out because I wanted something nice. It was our 10 year Anniversary and wanted it to be special. We got to the airport and had to run through security (snails pace) and barely made our flight. NOT what I had in mind. I used to work for this company and their owner Johnny refused to pay me my wages earned. I expressed to him multiple times that the earnings on my paycheck did not reflect the hours worked. I sent him a copy of the invoices for the days missing on my pay check an he refused to acknowledge their mistake and has never payed me for my hours earned. In addition, many of his limousines have air conditioning issues that he was made aware. Yet, he would still schedule events for vehicles and leave the drivers to make excuses to their customers about the issue on hand and still charge them for the service. During Covid-19 he closed his doors down but possibly back in business again. In conclusion, I personally would never, ever work for him or his company again and would advise you to consider any other limousine service company to have better experiences and expectations. read more

I noticed that the previous 2 reviews were negative and I am sorry they didn't have a very good experience, however, I am basing my review off of my experience with this company which was very pleasant. We had booked the 22 seater excursion limo for our wedding. To our surprise the price was extremely reasonable. Other companies were charging about $1200-$2000 for us to rent the limo for a few hours, we only ended up paying about $600 for 5 hours with cloud 9, which was an UNBELIEVABLE DEAL! The limo was exactly what we had expected, We had a fairly large wedding party and surprisingly there was enough room to fit our photographer and videographer comfortably. Our driver Al was very nice and delivered excellent service. We got the red carpet treatment, champagne was complimentary, and the drive was smooth. In addition we were on a tight schedule since we went to different photo sites to take pictures within the city of San Francisco....our driver AL got us to every place on time and kept us updated every minute as to how we were doing with time. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a limo service,and I've used many. The booking staff was friendly, but the driver should start looking for another profession. She messed up the pickup, got lost at every stop, and did not seem to know the difference between right and left, even though she had a navigation system. Due to her lack of being able to follow directions, our party of 11 ended up being 45 minutes late to our destination, causing our event photographer to wait and be late for our anniversary party. She dropped our cooler full of expensive wine worth about $600 on the ground and cracked one of the bottles as she pulled it out of the trunk. We also ended up being late getting home since she took a wrong turn and got lost out in the middle of nowhere in Almaden. When I called to report this to the booking agent, she apologized and assured me she would escalate to upper management. I never got a call, so called back a week later and spoke with the general manager, who assured me he would look into it and get back to me in 24 hours. Two weeks later, and still no call back. AND, to top it all off, the company had the gall to charge me an extra $255 for "overtime," even though our trip to the restaurant in the same city where we live (less than 15 miles away ) and back took an hour and a half longer than needed due to the driver's inability to understand directions from her nav system. The nav system would say to turn left, and she would go to the right...seriously. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company, and will NEVER use Cloud 9 again. Very disappointing and ruined my special family event, since I had to watch the driver like a hawk and correct her each time she took a wrong turn, got on the wrong freeway, started driving into the middle of nowhere, etc. The whole point of a limo is to be able to relax and have fun, and this was very stressful and not fun at all for me or my 10 guests. read more

They were the best priced and follow through with all communications. They also called me to confirm a couple of days before the event to see if anything had changed. "By the time we were 30 minutes into the ride, I would have paid to drive myself. " Several epic fails and a possible BBB complaint on the way. A really nice friend of mine hired the 30 or so person luxury shuttle to take people (including me) to a big event she was organizing as a convenience to attendees. Unfortunately, it was pretty much a disaster, that got no better when we tried to give them a chance to make it right... more on that below. Basically, we unanimously agreed it would have been better to drive ourselves. - The A/C either did not work or exist in the shuttle (or the driver didn't know how to use it) leading to a "luxury bus" with 90 degree temperatures, 90% humidity, and no openable windows. This was pretty bad, because we were dressed nicely for the event, and many of us had sweat completely through our clothes by the time we were halfway through the ride... and of course it was even worse for the women wearing makeup. Some people almost passed out or vomited due to heat and humidity - we grabbed the trash can and had it at the ready just in case for a couple passengers. I was less concerned about myself than some of the seniors in our party. It's really not safe to drive people this way, at any price. By the time we were 30 minutes into the ride, I would have paid to drive myself. Unfortunately, it was more like an hour and a half made longer by the driver going the wrong way. It's too bad that this thoroughly decked out leather seat bus with disco lighting and lucite fixtures didn't seem to have an effective navigation system. - Anyway, why not tell the driver to pull over during our journey so we could get some air? Because there is a SOLID WALL between the passenger area and the driver. The driver didn't tell us how to communicate with him, because he either wasn't trained or was trained but forgot. We later (for the return trip) learned through experimentation that picking up a phone on the wall and pressing a button on it would ring the cab, but the driver didn't even know this until we insisted on experimenting to find out. - To sum up, it was pretty scary: we had seniors and non-seniors completely sweat through their clothes, near passing out, unable to communicate with the driver, with no openable windows, for over an hour, late to the event as we went the wrong way at least once, all due to poor training or equipment. - The trip back was "a little" better. The driver said he spent a couple hours talking to the home office to learn how to use the A/C, and insisted that he was able to make it work. (Of course, at that point we didn't need the A/C since it had cooled down outside.) It's nice they were able to make it work eventually, but a real bummer when the company could have performed this training or maintenance before they sent their misery sauna on wheels out to pick up paying customers. On the way back, our driver took us the wrong way twice, adding several minutes to a lengthy trip. - The bright side was that the driver - who had clearly not been given sufficient training (and maybe not a functional vehicle) - was as polite and positive as he could be the entire time. Also, we were "only" a half hour late to an event that needed to start on time. Finally, no one was killed or injured in the experience, which somehow seemed like a bright spot. Plus one star up to two! - We wanted to give them a chance to refund some of the several hundred dollars this experience cost. But the home office was totally incompetent. We called them twice, had them say they'd get back to us "in twenty minutes" once, and "later this week" a different time, and returned calls exactly zero times during a two week window we gave them before I wrote this review. When I initially booked my event with this company I received a very professional response but since COVID it's like this company is a ghost town. The service I booked and put a deposit for was canceled the day before the event and not because they reached out to me. I called to update them on details for the following day and after finalizing pick up and drop off locations they decided they could not provide me with the service. The young mán said I would be refunded either through check or through my original payment. Almost 2 months later and I have received nothing. I called their answering service and they asked me to respond to my confirmation email and management would get back to me well I have already responded to my confirmation email in September when I was trying to figure out if they can help me with my service date and still I have heard nothing. I informed the "answering" service that has already failed me in the past and he just repeatedly continued to say he can not help me with getting my refund. We recently used Cloud 9 (found through Limos.com) to arrange a transfer from SFO to San Jose for our newlywed friends who were returning from an international trip. We informed the driver that the flight was delayed by approximately an hour. The plane landed, passengers disembarked, and collected their luggage, but the driver was nowhere to be found. After dialing his direct number and getting voicemail, and then contacting the company directly, he finally contacted us after 20 mins. He indicated he'd be able to be at the airport within another 20 mins (presumably because he had to wait at an off-airport lot, I was told after speaking with Cloud 9). Regardless, I'm not sure why the phone was off/not functioning for a 20-min period while passengers were waiting. We informed Cloud 9 about this miscommunication, and they granted us a 20% discount for a future limo service. Overall, good customer service, but would've appreciated a bit more diligence on their part in monitoring the flight landing time/status and picking up the passengers promptly. read more

We Bought the birthday package which was 14 passenger white Lincoln for 4 hrs. When I first called I spoke to Angelica who was nice and answered all of my questions. She emailed me an Authorization Form to fill out which i did then faxed it back. And then they email you a copy of the confirmation. It's kinda scary because after that, they tell you we'll be contacting you the day before your event... Which they didn't so I called them the next day to confirm the limo and I had to ask for the name and phone number of our driver, which was weird. I shouldn't have to be asking all these questions. We had George as our driver who was very nice. He did call to say he was going to be 5-10 minutes late which was good service even though he only ended up being 4 minutes late. Although online it said we'd be getting the 5th door limo, it only had the standard 2 in the back, no biggy it didn't really matter. I was the birthday girl so I didn't even make it into the club ha ha I was freezing and my husband didn't have a jacket but George let me use his as a blanket which was very thoughtful. The MOH for a friend of mine's wedding booked this for her bachelorette party. Ken was our driver and as far as I am concerned (as a guest) it was a well planned out evening. The shuttle is SOOO nice inside! Very spacious and I like how the flooring is not carpet, so if there is some spillage, easy to clean up! =) We brought our own cups so we wouldn't have to use their glass cups since we'd have to pay for any broken ones. After we had left the last club on the party bus stop, Ken was SUPER nice and offered to take us around different places in SF to take some photos! When I wasn't feeling too hot, I wanted some water, and there was a bottle or two of water on ice... He offered it to me and said it was free! *sigh. I spoke to Robert many times over the phone and he was continuously helpful and accommodating. Luis was our driver and showed up right on time with an up-beat yet professional attitude. The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars is because the bus ride was quite bumpy, for which Luis kept profusely apologizing. Apparently something was off with the rear shocks, but I'm sure it has been fixed by now, given how upset Luis was. He even waved off the extra fee of being an hour late to our drop off location. We used Cloud 9 to take the family to and from SFO for a vacation. The children got a great kick traveling in a stretch limo with all the bells and whistles. The ride to the airport arrived a few minutes early and waited until we were ready to go. We arrived on time for our flight after a smooth journey. On our return back to the US we were delayed for over an hour in immigration due to a computer system crash and a large volume of arrivals. Our driver waited patiently for us in the cell phone waiting area and arrived at the curb within 4 minutes of our call after exiting customs. Very respectful and smooth driver. He arrived early and patiently waited for us. Our driver, who arrived for our wedding to take us to the hotel, was very respectful and drove smoothly. He took windy roads that others refused to take and thus we had a beautiful, picturesque end to our day. We were able to see the sunset on top of Hwy 35 on the way to Half Moon Bay. Our only complaint was that he was new and didn't know how to work all the features on the car. We couldn't get our sunroof open so used it only as a moonroof. It's interesting to see the rating distribution on Cloud 9, but I have to say we had wonderful service last night with driver Mark Zhukov. The party was too large for a cab and the journey wasn't short, so the office priced out the transportation options and eventually settled on Cloud 9 for us. The price difference compared to some other limo services was quite remarkable, even for the car being at our disposal all night for as long as we needed it, and the rate gives them an extra star. I'm picky about things and so made special note that Mark's limo looked spotlessly clean inside. I'd use Mark and Cloud 9 again in a snap, a definite no-brainer. read more

I booked through limos.com, and it was provided by Cloud 9. The driver sent me a text message letting me know he was nearby, and to reply back when I had my bag. He smartly identified his car with a flag in the window, and picked me up curbside. Picking me up curbside was by choice, and limos.com did allow for other options. He was curious and professional. I thought it was odd he asked me for directions to my house, as I'd expect this to be something a professional driver would take pride in knowing. Regardless, I will certainly be using their services again. Note... I used their services from SFO, to my home in San Jose. Let me preface this by saying that I gave Cloud 9 limo multiple opportunities to right the circumstances however they were completely unwilling to provide any type of service. At this time it appears to me that Cloud 9 is in the business of charging peoples credit cards while not providing any service whatsoever. My experience with cloud 9 began when i booked transportation for my wedding. I booked with a woman named angelica who was pleasant and seemed helpful, i signed a contract 6 weeks before the event. The week before and week of my event I sent multiple emails to Angelica for scheduling purposes only to hear nothing in return. On the Monday before my wedding I called only to find out that Angelica was no longer with the company, one would think that someone would have reached out to coordinate. On the Tuesday before my wedding (my wedding was on Saturday) we had unforeseen circumstances related to the fires in the Santa Cruz mountains and our venue had to be emergency evacuated and we ended up having to find another venue last minute. Completely minor compared to the people that lost homes during the loma fires. When i called to update Cloud 9 on the situation the owners /managers were completely insensitive and unwilling to meet us half way. They ended up keeping my deposit of $375. When I asked if we could down grade the service to just take the bridal party, they wanted to charge us $400 for a 15 minute ride. In my opinion Cloud 9 is run by completely incompetent, insensitive, crooks. The icing on the cake was when one of the owners had the audacity to tell me that our wedding was not canceled due to a natural disaster it was canceled because of "the pot farmers starting a fire in the mountain". FYI cloud 9 the loma fire burned 4,700 acres, destroyed 28 residences and over 700 firefighters, both volunteer and paid fighting the fires. Call it what you want to but it sounds to me like a natural disaster. Go ahead and Google Loma Fire, Sveadal and you will hear our whole story. We were provided with so much support by so many people including channel 5 eyewitness news, I am happy to update them on the terrible service Cloud 9 provided as well as the $375 that they received for doing absolutely no work. Do not hire them. Update: Please see Cloud 9's response 6 months after the fact, they still take zero responsibility for the complete lack of professionalism, service and downright respect for customers. Cloud 9, in response to your questions, unfortunately we did have to cancel with some of our providers and they worked with us 100%. You *were (you have a typo in your original response) the only ones who did not. The options you offered were ridiculous and you were unwilling to meet us half way. You're right it's not your fault however I stand by my word that you are the worst service providers that I have ever come across. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! They are very unprofessional. 1st off we got picked up Saturday at 10am and the vehicle was on empty the light was on. So the driver drove us to the gas station. 2nd when we got to the gas station and their company card declined so the poor driver had to pay for the gas out of his own pocket. After that he called the owner to tell him what was going on. They said they would give us 15 minutes free. We didnt leave the gas station til 10:28 so they said it'll be 30 minutes free. After that we drove to San Francisco which we came to a tollbooth again the driver had to pay for that out of his own pocket since their company card wasn't working. After that everything was ok. We orginally reserved the vehicle from 10am to 5pm well we didn't get back to our drop off til 7pm becuase we wanted to do a few extra things on the way back. Well the next day I called them to see our final charges and to ask for a receipt no one answered. So I called back monday talked to someone and asked him if someone would call me BEFORE they charge my card for the extra time so we can talk about the 30 minute free. About 1 hour later I get a email from them it was a receipt showing the total amount charged to my card. Which was 10am -7pm which didnt reflect 30 minutes free. Which would be 10am-6:30pm. So I called them back after calling them back the guy I spoke to told me I would have to call back in the morning because it was closing hours. Which I told him shouldn't you guys be calling me back since you guys didn't do what you said and give me 30 minutes free? So now I have to call back a 3rd time which is a inconvenience for me just like getting picked up by a vehicle that had no gas in it which took 30 minutes out of my rental time to go put gas in it was a huge inconvenience I have to call you guys back shouldn't you guys be calling me back? Next day Tuesday morning a lady calls me and asks what was wrong after explaining it to yet another person for the 3rd time. She tell me my rental time was from 10am- 7:20 pm which was not correct since we got dropped off at 7pm and I seen the driver put down drop off 7pm before I singed the papers. She then tells me the 20 minutes after 7pm was free. I asked her how is that when we got dropped off at 7pm she said she'll have to look at her notes and call me back. Never got a call back so here's my review for this company. Go with someone else they are very unprofessional and don't do what they say they are going to do. I will never rent from they again. If I could rate zero stars, I would. My husband and I wanted to surprise our friends for Christmas by planning a limo ride to SF to look at holiday lights in the city. We were to be picked up at a restaurant at 8pm and then return at midnight. I had never rented a limo before so I spent hours looking into limo companies and eventually went with Cloud 9. There were 12 adults total so I reserved a 12-14 pass. limo but then called the after hours number and changed it to a 10-12 which had a better rate. I asked if this would fit 12 people and she said yes it shouldn't be a problem. When we were picked up we could only fit 8 barely. We are average sized adults. They said a larger one could be brought to us which we were ok with. They were going to charge me $160 to upgrade to this!!! It was a little larger but still required 2 of us to be in the back seat which was another section away from the rest of us:( we said we weren't happy about this car and so they said there was one more at their garage that would fit us all. So we piled into the limo and were driven to the garage. They let us take the Hummer which was amazing, but said now the fee was $260!!! I told the manager/employee?? that we weren't going to pay that and he said it's ok we'll work with you about this on Mon. Finally an hour and a half into our night, we began. Roland was our driver and was great!!! He also could not believe they had rented us the original car for 12 since that size car is way too small. (Their website now says 8-12 ppl but should say 8 average size adults comfortably or 12 children.) Do they use the "bait and switch" method by reserving a car for you that they know will be too small and then you are stuck having to upgrade so they charge you!!? We decided that we would pay half of the $260 as a good measure even though the first car shouldn't have been rented to us in the first place. We thought this seemed fair by all means. They refuse to budge. I have been following up with them and trying to resolve this $130 credit. There hasn't been any "working with me" about the extra fee. And since they had my credit card they gave me the form to sign just as they were about to close the Hummer door, so I was stuck! I signed but said I wasn't happy about it and would be calling to contest the fee. In following up with mgmt they have been slow and extremely cold. Never an apology, never a compromise, and never anything to try to keep our business! I've never experienced this kind of attitude/behavior from a business before. I would leave minus stars if I could. They stranded my wife and I at SFO at 11:30pm on a return trip from Hawaii. They took us to the airport 2 weeks before, and I confirmed with them before we left Hawaii for home but no limo when we hit the curb at SFO, and no answer from any of the phone numbers I had for them. As disappointing as that was, mistakes happen, we took a cab home. Such is life. But that is not the worst of it - They would not return my calls. Lack of business professionalism to return a call to discuss this with a multiple repeat client who travels for business 5-6 times a quarter is not acceptable. If I got that treatment spending $500-$600.000 a month with them image how a "once in great while" user of their service would be treated? Call ANYONE else for limousine service in the bay area is my suggestion. read more
