Me and my twin sister planned our 65th birthday party and we wanted it to be special. We were going on a cruise with 50 of our friends and family, and rather than having everyone drive all of the way and try to find parking, we decided to use a charter bus. I've known about Mosaic for quite a while, but never had a reason to use their services until now. Our driver Billy came at the agreed upon time and got everyone on the bus on time and we were on our way. The bus was beautiful, they had an ice chest full of ice and bottled water (we used it for champagne - lol). Billy let us play our music through the bluetooth and we partied all the way up to the Bay. We had so much fun!!! He got us there exactly on time and he was such a gentleman to help the ladies off of the bus. When our cruise was over, he came and picked us up in the same designated spot and we returned back to San Jose where we started. The bus is nice and clean, plenty of seats. They even had a couple of areas where the passengers can face each other (where they played cards). He didn't even mind that we blasted our music and sang at the top of our lungs. Jennifer and the staff at Mosaic did a great job helping us make sure everything went smooth. If I have one piece of advice to the clients, make sure that you're very clear about pick up and dropoff times on your contract, and making sure to not go past your scheduled time. we had a bit of a situation, but Jennifer was so great to work with us to give us a satisfactory outcome. This month we used Mosaic Transportation for 3 days during our daughter's graduation services. Our out-of-town family was in the area for a week. From the moment that I coordinated the services with Jennifer, it was such a blessing. Jennifer is one of the nicest and most professional people that I have dealt with in Corporate America in a long time. She helped put the itinerary together and was so flexible with all of my many changes. She never became frustrated but only had a can-do attitude the entire time. Then Ruben was assigned to us as our driver. When we were picked up and driven to our destinations over the course of 3 days, Ruben was excellent. He was professional, flexible and very accommodating. I am looking forward to the next time that we can use Maurice and his company. Would I recommend this company for transportation needs? Our group of 25 spent two days driving around San Francisco with Ron and he made sure we had an awesome time. He took us to all the best sites and had plenty of jokes and interesting SF tidbits to keep us entertained. I spent over a week attempting to contact Mr. Mathis at Mosaic. We called every day about, spoke with Michelle, she passed our message but he ignored my request, or forgot, either way I was organizing a celebrity wedding and he showed no interest, even though we were paying whatever they asked. I would not recommend them to anyone, especially after having to deal with an unprofessional team of reservationists. I did find another limo, and rolls Royce, and that company told us that Mosaic wasn't the right choice to begin with. Stick to Proms Mosaic, maybe a teenager would deal with you since you acted like one. read more

It's always a stunning fall to go from five stars to one. When I first wrote my review of Mosaic Global Transportation, it was before the event. During the event, we had some drivers tell our guests that they couldn't drink or eat in the limousine. Hello, it's a fundraiser and part of the fun is the eating and drinking as clues are solved. Still this wasn't enough for me to downgrade them. No, the reason for their stellar fall is a recent e-mail from a donor who bid on Mosaic Global Transportation's "gift' of a wine country trip. Notice the quotes on "gift"? Evidently, despite repeated attempts to redeem their "gift", the company can never do it. Our donor told me that she's being asked to pay for taxes and other fees as well. This is no "gift" in my book, but a cheap bait and switch. We're gearing up for our 2009 caper. We won't be using Global Mosaic Transportation. I guess the $15,000 we paid for their services wasn't enough to make a real "gift" of a wine country tour for our auction to be honored. read more

Mosaic gets me where I need to go. This is not always an easy proposition, as I often have NO CLUE where I am headed (If I am lucky I can remember the hotel name- that is about it). They have the reservations that were placed for me and make sure that I am delivered to the door. I have found their drivers to be incredibly kind, interesting to speak with and ALWAYS on time. I arrive at SFO- groggily grab my stuff and head down towards the luggage area. These folks are there waiting- with a sign with your name on it. Why is this so awesome? My limo company in Chicago has you call, and then gives you the sedan #. I cannot speak for everyone else, but I do not carry a pen with handy access and FORGET the car #- and end up stalking every black sedan that comes my way for the next 1/2 hour. With Mosaic- you do not have to worry about this. No searching, hunting, or stalking involved. They pick ya up, and then get you where you need to go. Granted, you do pay through the nose for it (123 from SFO to palo alto) but well, this is a case where you get what you pay for. read more

On a recent trip to New York and Omaha I used Mosaic for the first time. The logistics were pretty daunting, with multiple airport pickups and dropoffs, and being the realist that I am, I just assumed *something* would go wrong, especially in sold-out Omaha, where the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting had sucked up every available vehicle and driver! So I was pleasantly surprised when everything went off without a hitch, including my pickup at 4 a.m. out in the mountains where I live in Santa Cruz, with Ron, my driver, who'd never been in my neck of the (literal) woods. He was delightful, struck just the right note for an early a.m. pickup--not too chatty, but friendly and professional. I felt like Mosaic's staff members were holding my hand, no matter where I was, and they were on top of the same-day confirmations for each leg, which was nice--I didn't have to call *them* to make sure my driver was showing up. It dropped the stress level on the trip dramatically to know that they were shepherding me...and that someone "back home" was looking after me during my perigrinations across the US! We are on our way to Jamaica for my son's Make-A-Wish trip, but unfortunately, the trip that was supposed to be worry free with everything arranged is hitting a snag. The driver did not show up who was supposed to take us to the airport and now we are running late driving our own car. I did call to confirm yesterday but somehow, when I called this morning overnight services said there was a 'mishap' and they couldn't get a driver out to us for another hour at least. So we got in our car and will have to just leave it in long term parking so we don't miss our flight. Very inconvenient. Bottom line, I'm going to say Mosaic Transportation is unreliable. read more

Highly recommend. We have used Mosaic Global Transportation on numerous occasions, and always have had excellent service. Drivers arrive early, are professional, courteous, and friendly (even when it's a 4:30 am pick up!!). Recently had a 12:30 am pick up at SFO, and our flight was early. We walked out of security to find our driver smiling at us. We have also used the service for going out for an evening. DO NOT USE MOSAIC GLOBAL TRANSPORTATION! UNRELIABLE!! LIARS!!! CROOKS!!!! the only reason these guys get one star is because i can't give them none!! i reserved the white silver cloud for my sister's wedding.. they charged my credit card in full the moment i made the reservation. i confirmed with them 3 times via fax and email that everything was ok, but come wedding day.. NO CAR!!!!! when i called to see where the car i paid a billion dollars for was, they told me their system had crashed that morning and they did not have my reservation.... it took them quite some time to locate my reservation after i insisted that i actualy had one and privided enough evidence of it. they then told me that they would not be sending me the car i paid for, but they'd send whatever car they could an hour later... which would have got my sister to her wedding an hour late. that they could not send the car because it required a special driver who was not available. lies.... if the car required a special driver, that driver would have been informed when i made the reservation and NOT the morning of the wedding when their system crashed! these people are crooks and i am taking them to small claims court to give me back my money as well as reimbursement for the alternate transportation i was forced to find that afternoon! and in response to maurice's comment on my review of his company... i have now decided they are also dishonest, so keep up the good work! there was no phone call from you on monday that i did not return. rhonda phoned me and i actually spoke to her. i did not recieve an apology, but more excuses about how mosaic feels it's not their fault that i did not get my car that day because their new computer system messed up. their inability to verify the efficiency with their new system and the way rhonda placed blame on her software company instead of simply saying " sorry, we messed up" and accepting responsibility for their error only makes me distrust them more. a gift certificate for a car i no longer need is not an apology, and getting a refund on my credit card isn't really fixing the problem.. my credit card company would have taken care of that for me. thanks for nothing. read more

Don't do it. Unreliable service and the car I got was pretty beat up and falling apart in the interiors. I was in a rush to get to the airport and driver could not find my address (I was standing outside waiting on main cross streets in SF-- not some obscure residential address). Rhonda and Maurice (the owners) are super nice and super hands-on. My office has been using Mosaic Global for years - they used to be Rollz Royce Limousine (I always hated the purposely mispelled name). I have never experienced the car service first hand, but the office staff (customer service and accounting) and the owners are great! I have had no recent complaints about drivers either. Mosaic provided shuttle service for our wedding party and guests from a downtown hotel location to our ceremony and reception service. The driver was on time, there were bevvies on the bus (complete with red cups!), and managed to please all (well except for when the young folk changed the music to party and the family couldn't figure out how to turn it down or change it - oh well). We choose Mosaic based on price, they were way more affordable and willing to work with a time split rather than group all the hours together. I ordered a limo for my daughter's birthday party (I know, extravagant, but it was the only thing I paid for - everything else was donated), and was unsure about how all of the girls would react to the driver. I called around to a few different limo services, and was not impressed by the scheduler, until I called Mosaic. Rhonda was great on the phone, put my fears to rest and said she had a driver who would be great with the girls. Gave me the price which included tax and tip so there were no unexpected fees. The limo showed up at our house 5 minutes early, with a very handsome and professional looking driver. Turns out he had an 8 yo daughter and was used to squealing girls. Marshall took us to all of our stops, and even went back to my house (while we were at dinner) to get the birthday cake I forgot. The girls fell in love with Marshall and were very sad when he had to leave at the end of the evening. I was sad to see him go also. Mosaic's professionalism and personal service made for a most memorable evening. I will use them if I ever need a limo again (and will ask for Marshall!). read more

We recently went to San Francisco and needed an alternative ride back to the airport. On the shuttle we took from the airport the driver was out of control, honking, yelling, and moving in and out of traffic. We didn't want to be tortured again after a nice relaxing weekend, so we treated ourselves to a peaceful calm ride back. To our surprise, we found a limousine company that actually cares about the environment and had a Hybrid Toyota Camry in their fleet! The ride was magnificent and worth every penny. The added beauty of this company is they're global. We're going on a cruise next week and I plan to book them for a ride from the airport to the ship and back. I can't believe this company has more than one star! We ordered a party bus for my b-day last December. After the bus was almost an hour late I called and they didn't have my reservation?? They called the manager and he told me to call his cell phone only..like he was irritated that I called...The bus had no ice..r the comp champagne..no t.v. Nothing!!!! It was like an old school bus pained black...ghetto! With their own strobe lights..could't get in no clubs..probably cause the bus was So ghetto!! I was humiliated and embarrassed!
