Their 20-passenger party bus was the perfect size for our group. Sharon made the booking process incredibly easy and was so helpful in answering all of our questions. Their pricing was also much more affordable than other companies we looked at, so booking with them was an easy decision. We were able to schedule pickup from our friend's house, transportation to our event, and a return pickup and drop-off afterward without any issues. Our driver, Leland, provided 10/10 service. He made sure we had the best experience from the moment we got on the bus by setting up the Bluetooth before we left and making sure the cooler was stocked with ice. He even picked us up a little earlier than scheduled since our event ended ahead of time. Most importantly, he got us to and from our destination safely while making the ride fun and enjoyable. Thank you, Leland, for being such an amazing driver! We'll definitely be booking with CLS Global Transportation again for future events, and I recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, affordable, and excellent party bus service.

We did find a few companies that were slightly cheaper (and many that were much more expensive), but from the beginning, Sharon made us feel confident that we are truly getting what we are paying for. Her response time, attention to detail, kindness, and personable approach have been incredible. She has made planning so much easier and more enjoyable, and we are so excited for the actual experience!

The driver was amazing on the intercom his voice was clear, energetic and very pleasant. The mid way pit stop was also a great choice and and the 30 minutes was more then enough time for me. Now this is my 2nd time using this brand and the first try was not the same. The first experience the bus was a 1 story and tight. The 2nd bus experience during this visit was the double decker. If this was or could be the consistent experience then, 100% would recommend giving it a try. 1 tip Bring a jacket or 2 jackets with *hoods. Why because even though the bus was clean... you never know. The good will make feel more comfortable and safe to put your head back on the seat (knowing your head and hair are safe).2nd tip is bring sanitizer wipes... I don't but it's probably worth it to have them when going into bathrooms and touching doors.

However, tonight's experience totally changes my overall experience with Megabus. I'm writing this at 5am waiting for the next bus back home to San Jose. I got a Service Alert email after I booked my ticket from Anaheim to San Jose on Friday, 1/18. The email said the bus would have delays up to an hour due to operational issues which is weird to get it the day before. I didn't think much of it because bus delays happens. It was supposed to depart Saturday, 1/19 at 10:20pm. They email us 17 minutes later that the bus has been canceled. Another Megabus driver had to tell us the overnight bus going back to the Bay Area was canceled. If they knew beforehand these delays would cause a cancelation they should let the customer know so they can change to an earlier trip. Or have another bus. You have a lot of passengers going to San Jose & San Francisco! So now I'm stuck in Anaheim almost 11 more hours after I was supposed to go home because the next available bus departs at 9:05am. Yes they offer refunds or exchange for a rescheduled trip. But this inconvenience they caused could have been prevented if they had better communication and a backup bus if there are operational/mechanical issues. I'm supposed to be at work in the morning but I have to call out so thanks Megabus for making me lose a day's worth of pay! Update: I took the bus departing after 7am from LA Union Station and they charged me $5 to take the earlier bus.

The bus driver was rude and told us not to use the bathrooms because then they would smell. The bus creaked and you could just tell from the beginning that it was not safe. Sure enough, it broke down...for like 4 hours. We were told we could not leave the bus and threatened if we did. We were also told no one was allowed to come pick us up. Apparently we couldn't go any further because the brakes were broken and could blow up...how safe for a bus full of 40 kids. Finally, another bus came to pick everyone up and we finally got to magic mountain way way after everyone else was there. Then in the morning, the same broken bus was coming to pick us up for our long trip back...it was late of course and on the whole way back we had to deal with the unbearable smell of the bathroom while everyone on the other buses rode in a clean and safe environment. I originally wrote a review about this right after it happened but I was told I would not get a refund until I took it down..so I did. Then I found out they lied to me. Aptos High had to give everyone on the bus money back and this company didn't give a dime back! SO UNFAIR AND RIDICULOUS. I HOPE THIS COMPANY GOES OUT OF BUSINESS. The drivers are always nice and willing to do whatever they can to make sure we are having a smooth ride. The buses themselves are nice and the seats aren't cramped. The ones with Wi-Fi are neat too. the newer ones have outlets over some of the seats so it makes it more convenient to use electronic devices. i would definitely recommend their services for any traveling group.

Whats worse is the busses often pick up in dark parking lots without any seating or protection from the elements, so you could be waiting in the rain or in the dark in an unsafe neighborhood waiting for hours. On top of that, there is no phone number you can contact for support, and the online chat support is inhuman. Here's one experience I had with them, as an example: On March 7, 2024, we arrived to the bus station 15 minutes early, per instructions. The bus station was actually a dark, empty parking lot with no seats and no protection from the elements, in a relatively unsafe part of town. This was doubly bad as it was a rainy evening in Austin and there was no covering in the parking lot. After waiting and the departure time passing, we contacted FlixBus only to find out that the bus was delayed more than 45 minutes. FlixBus made no attempt to contact us via email, text, or phone. Had we been notified, we would have waited in our hotel. Instead, we were left waiting in rain in a dark parking lot. As we waited, we watched the ETA online continue to grow to 55+ minutes. FlixBus put us in an unsafe and uncomfortable situation, and we expected a full refund. I have contacted the support team, and they made no apologies for the delay or lack of communication. Instead, they stated that their policy is that refunds are only issued for delays over two hours. I would have been more forgiving if we had received any notice. Airlines, trains, and other transportation providers notify their customers about delays, and FlixBus should be obligated to do so as well. We were not about to wait in the rain in an unsafe neighborhood with all of our luggage for nearly an hour hoping the bus would come. At least when airlines or trains are delayed they notify customers and you are waiting inside in a safe environment. FlixBus customer support was entirely unempathetic and unhelpful, and seemed to have no concern for the safety of their passengers. I highly recommend against such an uncaring company.

I was left behind in the rest stop in the middle of the cold winter evening with my luggage still in the bus from LA to San Jose. I had to ask for a ride from a random stranger. Called several times and nobody cared. They even could not let the driver get informed about my luggage. And asking me to wait 14 days for my luggage. 14 days later they said they didnt see my luggage. I also found out there is no head office, no main station of this company anywhere on earth and they blamed that all the buses were corporated. Threatening.

Umbrella Bus barely got our passengers from Point A to Point B, did not do so efficiently, and arguably didn't do it terribly safely. We booked Umbrella for a 54-passenger shuttle to transport wedding guests from our wedding hotel to our ceremony venue, and then from the ceremony venue to the reception venue ($1050 total). I confirmed this itinerary with their staff by email and phone several times (at least three), because they kept sending me invoices that only showed a partial itinerary, but they assured me that they had the correct itinerary written down and would read off the correct itinerary on the phone when I called. On the first trip, the bus driver got the bottom of the bus stuck on a steep hill, rendering it unable to move. Guests had to walk nearly a quarter mile from where the bus got stuck to the ceremony site. The bus was also blocking the entrance to the park where the ceremony was held, meaning that park visitors and several wedding guests who were behind it were severely delayed in getting into the park. We had a couple of guests who missed some of the wedding ceremony because the bus blocked the entrance for so long. It would've been 3.5 stars if only for this, since it wasn't 100% the driver's fault, though he should really have known what the buses he drives are able to handle. On the second trip, though, despite me confirming the destinations in the itinerary with Umbrella MULTIPLE TIMES, the driver had somehow been given the wrong destination by their dispatch, and took guests back to the hotel instead of to the wedding reception venue. My family members had to argue with the driver, who insisted that he'd been told to take everyone back to the hotel, and "I'm only doing two trips, how will people get back to the hotel?" but he eventually relented and took everyone to the reception instead, but meant that most of the guests were delayed by quite a bit in getting to the reception. This definitely wasn't the driver's fault though, and was clearly the fault of the company/dispatch. He did eventually take the guests where they needed to go, which we appreciate.
