This was ok. There is valet only parking although I was told later that you could try to self park but there are very few spots. The pool was right there behind you, and there were dunes in front so it wasn't exactly a great atmosphere. The salad was good but the salmon wasn't the best with some of the skin left on. We sat ourselves and would have had more to drink but the servers weren't coming around very often. It took us awhile to get the check and then to pay. I don't recommend for a business lunch or to come if you aren't staying at the hotel. If you are a guest on vacation, it's a perfect laid back atmosphere.

MIKEY was so great at his job. We had an unexpected meet up and he was professional and thorough with his attention and our drinks and food were brought out immediately. He worked the complete bar with the best service and he never lost his patience. He smiled throughout the unexpected crowd and fun was had by all. Thank you MIKEY for an eventful evening. First off, and to be noted what a gorgeous setting this place offers. I came to meet with an English group for my first visit. We were set as a large group under the massive and impressive tiki hut, adjacent to the beach. The views are gorgeous. The server was friendly and efficient. The poor chap did all our charges separately, efficiently and with a smile. I told him so! I tried their lumberjack breakfast. It was pleasant, and as expected. I also sampled their cappuchino coffee.

This casual restaurant located at the Beachcomber Hotel in Pompano Beach offers classic American cuisine. The Atlantic Ocean views are spectacular. Happy hour is Monday to Friday 3-6pm. I had a margarita $8 and we shared the Guacamole and chips $10. After 5pm about once a week they offer Oysters on a half shell for $1 a piece. Fresh, delicious and a bargain. Service is very friendly and efficient.

Can't beat the location and the service. Even rained quite a bit and we were perfectly protected still enjoying the surf and the sand. The food was also enjoyable.

Not your typical beach front tiki bar menu. Everything is good. They have fresh fish, NY strip steak, sandwiches, etc., but the star of the show is the tomahawk pork chop. Looks like something Fred Flintstone would order. Order an appetizer or salad and split the chop. Our server was very personable. It took a little while to get our food but you are on the beach and they had music.

Breakfast on the beach with an incredible view... sign me up!! We stopped here on our trip one morning and boy were we glad we did! The kids played on the hammocks and in the sand, while we enjoyed a morning cocktail (pictured below). Our servers moved at a paced that matched our urgency (which in the moment was slow, lol) and it was a perfect morning. I got the corned beef hash, my wife got eggs and potatoes, and the kids got the custard French toast... holy smokes, that French toast was amazing! Highly recommend Deep Oceanfront to anyone nearby!

Enjoyed lunch overlooking the beach on an overcast yet pleasant day. Matt our server was awesome; he made great recommendations and the experience a pleasure. Looking forward to doing happy hour later

Today's luncheon with my ladies group. We were very impressed with our server- Britney. She took care of the table I was seated at. We had 2 tables. Britney made sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately. The calamari was dry & overcooked & my oysters with bacon & parmigiana was very dry. I did enjoy the Greek salad with wild salmon- so good- I had to take home. We were very lucky with a beautiful ocean breeze & gorgeous weather today on the beach. The sad take away from this was that management will no longer honor our group with separate checks. We know that it's not an easy request, however- this was our 3rd year here. We hope that they will change their mind & hopefully will be able to enjoy the view as well as the delicious food. We are a local Pompano Beach Group that loves to support local businesses. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

We only tried the guacamole and salsa at the bar area and the drinks . Guacamole was really good , salsa was just ok. Drinks too were alittle disappointing they tasted watered down. The vibe is nice though but they def need to do better.

We came here about 6 years ago and loved it but never left a review for some reason! I remembered walking down the beach from where we were staying and stumbling onto this place back then and decided to try it again last night. It was better than I remembered! With an outdoor fire pit and open air cocktail bar area, live music, and choice of seating either under the tiki hut or in the sand - all with unobstructed ocean views it's hard to find a bad seat here! Pros: 1) Service - on point, prompt, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter made great recommendations about the fresh fish and dessert choices. 2) menu selections - nice mix of choices, including apps, salads, fish, seafood, pork, beef, etc. something for everyone. Plus very easy to read and understand each item on the menu (unlike the overpriced Miami restaurant scene). Thoughtful variety of wine and cocktail selections - not overwhelming but certainly more than sufficient. 3) prices - extremely reasonable considering the location and ambience right on the beach! Our meal was under $200 for 2 people including a nice $89 bottle of Pinot noir! 4) food - we ordered the fresh catch of the day and it was cooked perfectly with butter, lemon and capers, butterflied whole. Also had the calamari which was perfect! And for dessert we had the key lime pie recommended by our server which had a thin layer of perfectly toasted merengue and was not overly sweet. It was the perfect size for us to split - not too huge, and just big enough to fill the sweet spot we had at the end of our meal. 5) quiet ambience - we could hear the ocean waves between music sets! We wandered over to the fire pit after our meal and talked to some nice people before heading back to our nearby hotel. Cons: I can't think of any! We will be back!

The first thing we noticed, which was a bit unexpected, was the decor. The ambiance was really nice and inviting. This is the type of restaurant where someone could host a party. The service was really good too. We received water almost immediately after being seated, and our server came by shortly after. The manager stopped by throughout our visit to provide recommendations, and he was really nice. It made the experience feel more personal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Baba Ghannouj, which complemented the pita bread really well. It was our first time having it, and we did not know what to expect, but it was great. It was really flavorful, and we finished it wanting more. For our entrees, we had the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Tagine. The lamb chops were great. It was not a huge portion, but the meat was flavorful and cooked well. The presentation was also really nice. The Seafood Tagine looked great, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Everything about the dish worked well together, and we felt that all the flavors complemented one another. There was a good harmony between the ingredients. For dessert, we ordered the Kunafa, which was another first for us. We had never had it before, but the description really sold us on it. It was really good. This is the kind of dessert that is best shared since it is a little heavy. Toward the end of our visit, a belly dancer came out to perform, and it was really exciting. La Vie is a great restaurant, and we will definitely return. We felt as though we got a true Mediterranean experience during our visit.

For our entrees we got chicken tagine and lamb chops. I must say the lamb chops were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. I definitely recommend getting them medium. All in all if you're looking for something different definitely go check it out!

Desert Heat in Suburban Florida…read more Coral Springs is not exactly known for culinary danger. It's polite. It's manicured. It behaves. And then you walk into Falafel Gourmet and suddenly you're not in suburbia anymore -- you're in a little Middle Eastern oasis hiding in plain sight on State Road 7. First thing that hits you? That glass case of baklava. Not two sad trays. Not corner-store pastry vibes. A full shimmering lineup of honey-soaked, pistachio-loaded, syrup-dripping architecture. It's the kind of display that makes you whisper, "I'll pretend I'm taking it home for later." You're not. You're eating it in the car. Then the homemade lemonade. Not powdered. Not lazy. Fresh. Bright. And just when you think you've figured it out -- there's that hint of ginger. Subtle heat. Like it knows something you don't. It cuts through the richness like a blade. One sip and you realize Florida doesn't deserve this level of refreshment. Now let's talk shawarma. Lamb. Chicken. We had both. And this is where things get serious. Juicy. Properly seasoned. Wrapped tight. No soggy collapse halfway through. No bland filler. Just meat that's been treated with respect and cooked like someone's grandmother might actually yell at them if they messed it up. If your shawarma needs sauce to survive, you've already failed. This one doesn't. The service? Warm. Real. No robotic upsell script. You feel like they actually want you there. Like they care whether you enjoyed it. And then the teas. There's a section of teas that will make you want to point randomly and say, "Surprise me." You start asking questions. You start trusting recommendations. You start planning a second visit before the first one is done. This isn't fast food. It's edible hospitality. We walked in curious. We walked out planning to come back tomorrow night. That's the only review metric that matters. Will I come back? Hell yes.

They are located right next to Publix, plenty of parking and the restaurant has a very cozy and beautiful indoor interior. The employees were very friendly and welcoming, our waiter explained the menu and gave us recommendations. We ordered few small items and everything was fresh and flavourful... but I had a very big surprise about my favourite Tabbouleh salad. I always order this salad in many different states and countries and I love it. This was the only time I couldn't eat it. It was just way too much green onion in it (really competing with parsley). Like tons and large crunchy pieces of green onion. I took the salad home hoping my husband would eat it but he said "This is green onion Tabbouleh, not parsley". So yeah, that's my only disappointment here. Maybe it was the only time they made it like that by accident.. or maybe that's their ratio recipe, I wasn't sure. The Lentil soup was delicious! Also my friend's dish - the lamb and roasted veggies were pretty good. I would love to come back and try another dishes, their famous tea and/or coffee.

We started with several appetizers including spinach pies, falafel, and the Hommous sampler. The falafel was crisp and packed with flavor! I can't recommend the toum (garlic dip) enough. I would put this spread on anything! Another standout that we were all pleasantly surprised was their fries! These are the crispiest, most delicious side dish. Don't skip them. For dinner we had their moussaka and shish combo. The lamb, chicken, and kabobs were perfectly cooked- so flavorful and juicy! For dessert we had their bread pudding and Dubai chocolate brownie that came recommended from our waitress. Definitely enough to share and very decadent. Lastly, I want to compliment the service. Our drinks were always full, food came out altogether, and they took the time to explain various dishes and how they differ from the typical Mediterranean dishes. Our waitress was an absolute delight!

The service, atmosphere, and quality of the food never disappoint. This review is based on two separate visits, and both were outstanding experiences. On our first visit, we stopped in on a Friday evening and were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar. We were immediately greeted by our bartender, Matthew, whose warm and friendly personality made us feel welcome right away. He took our drink and food order, offered excellent recommendations, and introduced us to their newly launched happy hour menu. My spouse and I were genuinely excited to see that they had finally added food options to happy hour. In the past, we often skipped coming during happy hour because there weren't any food offerings, so this was something we had been hoping for. For our second visit, we specifically returned to try the new happy hour menu. Thankfully, the bar wasn't too busy, and we were able to grab seats again. Although, after posting this review, I may regret letting everyone know about this hidden gem because the bar area is small and those seats are going to become even harder to get! This time, we were greeted by Stephen, who crafted some fantastic cocktails and walked us through his recommendations from the happy hour menu. We were also warmly welcomed by the manager, Peppa, whose genuine hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. When we told her we came specifically to sample the new happy hour offerings, she shared some of her personal favorites, and every recommendation was spot on. We sampled several cocktails, including the Espresso Martini, Perfect Pear, Violeta, Guava Dream, Cucumber Twist, and Velvet Dynamite. While they were all excellent, our favorites were the Perfect Pear and the Velvet Dynamite. As for the food, the Greek Salad and Pita with Tzatziki are always must-orders for us. The Aegean Bites have also become one of our favorites. We tried both the Feta Saganaki and the Shrimp Saganaki--the feta was absolutely incredible, and the shrimp version was equally delicious for seafood lovers. The sliders were a generous portion, and my spouse thoroughly enjoyed them. My only minor criticism would be the chicken slider. The chicken had a loose, ground texture that wasn't my favorite. I think it would be even better with grilled chopped or diced chicken instead. It certainly wouldn't stop me from coming back, but it's the one item I'd probably skip next time. Needless to say, I absolutely love this restaurant, and I'm even more excited now that they offer what I think is one of the best happy hours around. A huge thank you to Matthew and Stephen for their outstanding service behind the bar, and a special shout-out to Peppa for making both of our visits so welcoming and memorable. We'll definitely be back!

Happy hour is offered daily until 6 o'clock and includes special prices on cocktails. I decided to dine with some clients and we ordered many delicious dishes. Everyone was happy with the dish that they ordered. We ordered grilled chicken platter, Gyro platter, Kefte platter, spinach pie, hummus with pita bread and seafood Paella.
