Deeper Touch Mobile Massage is a mobile bodyworker booking service, primarily serving the Monterey, Carmel, & Pebble Beach locations.
Our business model is made to be easy and focuses entirely on you...
1 - You book your therapist online

3 - You offer your unique reviews/feedback (optional)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why us?...
Our therapists offer personalized bodywork at it's best. We take the time to listen to your needs. We offer experienced, intuitive touch.
Our therapists are the experts in their specialties - not spa techs and not receptionists. They are what they say they are - the best bodyworkers in the area.
...And how do we know our therapists are the best? Two reasons... First, you match yourself to the therapist that fits you. Second, your reviews and feedback ensure our therapists are who they say they are.
History
Established in 2014.
( From the Founder, Ty Guttenberger )
I originally started Deeper Touch Massage by myself as a personal bodyworker in Montecito. I offered in-home therapy as well as bodywork in my private studio. Eventually the practice grew to Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. Our team grew to 6 amazing and talented therapists - all of whom now have thriving practices of their own. Feel free to check out my 5-star Yelp rating there (Yelp won't let me put a URL here. Sorry... But the same business name in SB)
In late 2014 my partner, Holly, and I moved to the Monterey Bay Peninsula. While my practice in Santa Barbara has shrank for my occasional visits, my Monterey practice is on the rise. And, yes!!! I'm adding to our team to offer our increasing numbers of interested clients more options and availability throughout the day, every day.
Meet the Business Owner: Ty G.
Ty is a full time bodyworker, touch therapist and instructor, specializing in the art of Hawaiian Temple Style Lomilomi, caring touch and deep tissue massage. He retired from a 20 year systems engineering and project management career some time ago. His private practice now focuses on healing clients and couple-clients who are overworked, overstressed and/or in need of reintroducing touch into their lives, by sharing nurturing space and offering deep tissue tension release.
Continuing his lifelong explorations of nature's systems within the world of bodywork, Ty says "The body is not just a collection of muscles. It's a network of overlapping systems. All of them are equally important when we touch someone." His systems work also focuses on networking with other wellness providers, knowledge institutes, retreats, spas and wellness centers in an effort to build community and greater healing opportunities.
