The entrance is inconspicuous and is one way in/out. Parking is decent. You can take tours when in season. When we were there, there was a baby shower happening in the small barn-looking building and a cooking class on the covered patio. So, we sat outside in the cold with some sun shades covers. It was a huge, open area. The sun was out, so it wasn't too bad. They could use some outdoor warmers or a fire pit. You go inside and order wine and food. They had limited options and didn't have any non-alcoholic wines. They had water and soft drinks for NA drinkers. No charcuterie since they had so many different events happening. There were 2-3 people manning the bar, and they seemed a little unorganized or critical of each other's help. It was strange. I tried a few samples of their rosè, one Chardonnay and a sparkling before I settled on 2023 Laren's Wild Rosé with strawberry and rose petal undertones. I liked it because it was less dry than the other rosé. Other than the baby shower and cooking class, it wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few parents letting their kids run around the area and on the stage. There was live music inside. Staff would come out to pick up wine glasses and serve the flatbread that some people in our party ordered. The pepperoni pizza looked good. I ate before I got there, so I didn't try. I particularly wouldn't return unless it was a family or friend celebration of some sort. While not a vineyard, there are other wine bars in the city that offer NA options, a larger wine selection and food.

We received a wine glass & a Wino Fest sheet for notes with the wineries in attendance as well as some educational materials to enhance our wine knowledge. Throughout the event there was live music, food vendors, and a great time! The information sheet that we received outlined each winery in attendance which we used to write down notes about each one. We learnt that unlike other festivals that charge an entrance fee for only 10 or so samples of wine, we could try all the different types of wine. This festival is designed to promote and support Texas Wineries. It was good to know that we 100% supported local TEXAS wineries.

For months, I have been asking how I can actually receive my wines, and I have the emails to prove it. I never received a single response or clear direction. The whole communication around this has been terrible. When Nikki finally did reply, it was with a rude and dismissive message, one that I've attached here for transparency, without ever acknowledging my prior outreach. This is not the way paying customers should be spoken to or treated, especially when they have been spending money and not able to get clarity on their products. I had already canceled my membership before this exchange, but had I not, I certainly would have afterward. Her tone and lack of professionalism were unacceptable, and it made clear to me that she does not understand what respectful customer service looks like. She also had to backtrack on her email without even knowing the facts. The worst! I understand that closures and operational challenges happen, but respect and clear communication should never be optional. Unfortunately, Nikki Harris demonstrated neither.

But he found one and we loved hearing him sing Counting Flowers on the Wall. He did great at Johnny Cash sings also! They have beers and wines and flights available. My family all enjoyed a few beers and I had a sangria. The burgers and salad were pronounced delicious and I had fish and chips. I'm sure it was commercially made and from the freezer, but actually very good. The fried pickles were better than I'd thought they'd be and the cheese curds were yummy. I got up to use the restroom and a man and his wife were there ( hallway) at the same time, and, he said to her, "Honey, come here you have to see this." Service from him was overall good, he did go and standoff and talk with his coworkers for longer periods of time with his back to us. Had to call him over to come take our order and for the check. There was only one other person there beside us as a patron. Food, I was expecting better. I ordered a very simple grilled cheese, it came out quite burnt, but the fries were good. One of my boys ordered the bacon burger, he said it was OK-mid at best, but nothing beyond that. The other ordered the chicken fried chicken, which he devoured all of it! He said the salad was good as well. I had expected there to be a greater drinks list option, but there was not. Not sure that I'll ever go back again, was really a letdown. I imagine this can be fun with maybe a larger group of people when you're out to have drinks and enjoy some live music.
