I waited over an hour for the doctor to not show up for my appointment today. It's unfortunate because this doctor is great at what he does but is absolute mess. He actually missed our appointment my first time I went in November last year & I had to leave and come back that time BUT he really was good that I booked with him again AND should never have. No respect for anyone else's time clearly. His assistant Tammy is great and really tried to cover for him... she should truly consider working for someone else because she's gold. I never leave bad reviews but I feel like people need to know this doctor does NOT have his practice in good running order.... which is very important in aesthetics last time I checked. Happy patient at last! Dr. Wensley is a master of his craft. I admit, I am a bit of a neurotic patient, a nightmare to most doctors probably lol- This is because I've had bad experiences in the aesthetics world by hands of some the highly popular Hollywood docs/ in Beverly Hills ( overrated ) and $$$ only to be miserable after. Dr. Wensley is a face saver~ Forthcoming, trustworthy and authentic ( no bs ) which I so appreciate. An M.D with an impressive background, he goes beyond the basics, explaining everything, from the anatomy of the face to the expected results. No cookie cutter approach which I have often experienced in the past. He has a unique perspective and conservative approach to treatments that he executes wonderfully resulting in a natural but clear change. What can I say about Dr. Wensley? WOW! He blew me away with this knowledge, not just about skin but the entire anti-aging and facial muscular structure. I've been to a couple of "Dr's" and clinics because I thought Botox was my only option. I found the 2 doctors I met, they recommended fillers, seems like an easy way to go. They also get you in and out FAST. But if you're like me who is concerned about Botox and looking for an alternative, I highly recommend you come in and talk to Dr. Wensley. What I had done: ultrasound to the face to remove some of the fatty deposits as I am aging. He also worked around the neck where it looks like I may be getting a second chin LOL. Then I had an IPL which is a laser I've never had it done before and slightly prickly on the skin but after those two procedures my skin looks amazing and feels tight. Then final step was Micro needling with 100 percent stem cell activator. The entire process took about 3.5 hours and the doctor did it himself. Plan on 3-4 day to heal but I used Emani Vegan Concealer and able to go out. My face was so red that I did not want to go anywhere. Day 3: Skin is dry and peeling. Day 4: new skin is reveal. I feel as if my skin reversed about 10 years. I'm in my mid-forties. Seriously. It's worth a free consultation!! Just to compare. Good luck. read more

I have been very hesitant to post this review because I'm so embarrassed to post pictures but after changing bandages on my wound for 6 weeks I can't help but feel so angry at what they did to me. This review is not for the doctor but for one of the techs that does Vanquish named Leann. I initially saw another tech named Gina who did a great job, she was knowledgeable and would frequently ask me how I'm feeling and check my skin to see how it was tolerating the Vanquish treatment. Well she went on vacation one week and so she let me know that I would be seeing someone else. The first time I saw Leann she was very sweet but she aimed the machine closer one one side of my lower abdomen than the other which resulted in a giant 6 inch oval ball only on one side. I know the balls are normal but I never had that experience with Gina. They were smaller and I got them on both sides and this time it was huge and only on one side. The next time I made an appt, I was booked with Leann again and I didn't want to be mean and request Gina because Leann really was so nice, so I just accepted getting the treatment done with her again and hoped for the best. Well this ended up being a life changing day. She put the machine extremely close to my skin, I told her I was uncomfortable and asked her how much longer a few times because it was starting to hurt and she checked my skin's temp with a laser thermometer and said that the temp was high but that it was a good thing, that I would have better results. She didn't even look at my actual skin, only took the temp and didn't do anything when she saw that it was high. I tried to breathe through the discomfort and when the treatment was finally done, she lifted the machine and was gasped and was shocked and said wow you really powered through that. Just to let you know, it might blister. I was in shock and said what?! It's that bad?! And I looked at my skin and it was starting to welt. She gave me a diy sandwich bag cold pack and I went home with it on but it was starting to get worse. I called Kaiser to schedule a doctors visit. They told me that it was a second degree burn and that It would scar. I couldn't believe it, I went to this place to do a treatment to gain confidence and instead they scarred me for life. I spoke to doctor Michael after Leann told him what happened and he said that it happens sometimes... so nonchalantly. This was so easily preventable, it wasn't the fault of the machine but of the tech who failed to check up on my skin as she should have. Progress has been slow for the healing of my burn and it's just so frustrating and devastating that they just carried on like nothing happened and I'm stuck with this horrible scar. As a cherry on top, I have an indentation with less fat on one side than the other side from that time that she aimed the machine more on one side than the other. Its really depressing that they disfigured me and got away with it like nothing. Again, this review is for my experience with Vanquish so maybe they're better with their other treatments but needless to say I would not recommend this place. read more

After trying 7 times to schedule a procedure, I finally gave up. Twice when I phoned, I got a live person who said someone would phone back the same day to schedule me, but I never heard back. Now when I phone the office, their voicemail is full and I'm unable to leave a message. Obviously they are having issues and offer poor customer service. Possibly they have gone under? In any event, I'd be very wary of using this company since there is no way to get through to them and/or they won't phone you back. Very unprofessional and concerning for a medical office. Dr. Wensley is a true artist when it comes to addressing skin conditions. Upon seeing my skin, he instantly knew what I needed, despite my resistance. Years of sun exposure left my skin with sun spots and not much elasticity. One microneedling and IPL treatment later, I looked so much more rested and my skin texture and firmness improve substantially. But what I like the most about Dr. Wensley is that he takes time to explain every procedure and the results that you can expect. Dr. Wensley is an excellent primary care doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Wensley on a regular basis for about three years since my previous primary care physician moved back east. Dr. Wensley has several very positive attributes. One of them, which still amazes me, is the amount of detail and time he spends with me during our visits. Each visit is an intensive and time-consuming one. Many doctors only do this on the first few visits. His memory of my very complicated situation is always right on. Unfortunately for me, I developed a highly problematic series of dicey medical conditions over 20 years ago. This has caused me to have to deal with dozens of medical professionals and who knows how many hundreds of medical visits. Therefore, I hope I speak with some experience. Other things that might interest a patient considering him: (1) he takes care of insurance forms and drug PAs quickly; (2) his office staff is very nice; and (3) his physician's assistant, Tony, who stayed on with the practice after the previous doctor moved back east, is fabulous! It is clear to me that Dr. Wensley is the aggressive "problem-solver" type of medical professional and that he very much enjoys doing this. One warning: sometimes there is a wait time from the appointment time until the visit starts. However, as someone who was made a lot of office visits, I have found that this is the norm. Actually, only rarely have my visits with anyone started on time. So I (and you should too) therefore plan accordingly always assuming there will be a delay. Dr. Wensley is by far the best of the best! Not only is he extremely well educated, but understands each patients goals and views and can pinpoint what will be the best course of treatment. He listens intently and deeply cares about your concerns. Extremely knowledgeable and spends unlimited time answering questions and making you feel at ease. Now for the topical part. My skin was acne scarred and showed an extreme red pigmentation in the cheek area. Not only has he fixed both within a short time period, but fixed my trout mouth.
