I called multiple times over the last few weeks and left voicemails trying to reach someone, I never got a single callback. I no longer live in the area and booked this appointment my only chance back in town. On the morning of my appointment I called to confirm since I never received a confirmation email or reminder. No one answered. I had to call the Manhattan Beach location just to find out that Costa Mesa was closed. I was never notified. No call, no email, nothing. This location has gone noticeably downhill. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, and they have switched away from medical grade numbing cream which has made tattoo removal significantly more painful than it used to be. I still have several sessions remaining that I need to use up, but if you are looking for a reliable provider I would honestly recommend going elsewhere. The quality of this location has gone down tremendously and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues because the service I experienced years ago was excellent. This is not that.

Unfortunately, after Jasmine left Belle Vie, I decided to give NP Jessica a try since I still had my membership. After my experience today, I can confidently say I will not be going back. I got AquaGold microneedling done today and felt very undermined and blindsided. I arrived at 3:05 for optional numbing before my 3:30 appointment, but when I asked about numbing I was told they don't numb for this procedure because 1) it doesn't hurt and 2) it's much quicker than normal microneedling. Both of those statements turned out to be false. I was seen at 3:15 and finished my session around 3:40. At first the pain was bearable, but as the procedure continued it became increasingly painful. After I repeatedly told NP Jessica how much it hurt, she asked if it was my first time microneedling--even though I had already told her it was my first time when she walked into the room and that I was excited to try something new. Her response of "ohhhh I'm so sorry" made it feel like what I had shared beforehand wasn't really taken into account. For context, I have a very high pain tolerance. I've done multiple sessions of PRF EZGel under my eyes with NP Jasmine (formerly at Belle Vie and now at Intemporel Clinic). I've even been told I'm an easy patient to work on because I really do not complain. After the appointment, I called immediately while sitting in my car to be reminded of the post-care instructions because I was honestly so discombobulated from the experience that I couldn't recall them. I also got a second opinion from another NP based in Newport, who told me they absolutely could have numbed me rather than telling me the procedure wouldn't hurt and was quicker. I called back again and ended up getting connected to the receptionist at the Cerritos location, which was bizzare because 22 minute prior the Newport receptionist picked up. She was very apologetic and helped answer all of my questions. I mentioned that for future reference, I believe NP Jessica could be more mindful and transparent about the pain level and the fact that everyone's tolerance varies. I even said I would have gladly paid extra for numbing if that was the issue. She informed me that numbing is actually complimentary and that if I arrived early and asked about it, they could have simply asked if that was something I wanted rather than dismissing it. I will say that Z is the absolute best, and every facial I've gotten from her has been so good!! Although I won't be returning to Belle Vie after 3 years of coming here, I do wish them the best!!

A truly life-changing experience…read more I originally went to Image Perfect Laser to see aesthetician Theresa Cadwallader for treatment of some dark spots and fine lines. I had laser and CO2 microneedling treatments, and later returned for a PRX chemical peel. There was one very small dark spot that didn't go away with treatment--in fact, it had gotten darker. I mentioned it to Theresa, and she immediately became concerned and asked Tracy Weigand, a PA dermatologist with Lumen Skinlab, who works in the same suite, to take a look. Tracy was concerned as well and offered to perform a shave biopsy and send it to pathology. The results came back as melanoma in situ. I was referred to a dermatology oncologist by my PC physician, a second lab confirmed the diagnosis, and the melanoma was surgically removed. I honestly thought the spot was just another harmless dark spot. I am incredibly grateful to Theresa for paying attention to that tiny change and to Tracy for taking it seriously and acting so quickly. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and willingness to investigate something that could easily have been overlooked made all the difference. I can't thank Theresa and Tracy enough. What started as a visit for cosmetic skin care ended up potentially saving me from a much more serious problem. I highly recommend both of them--not only for their expertise, but also for the care and attention they give their patients.

During the treatment, the pen they were using to mark my skin kept breaking and had to be sharpened repeatedly. I didn't realize anything was wrong until I got home and noticed multiple cuts/marks on my skin in the exact area that had been treated. Laser hair removal was the only thing I had done to that area that day. I called the office to explain what happened and asked for a refund for the treatment. Instead of taking my concern seriously, the manager told me that they normally draw their markings horizontally and that my marks were vertical--basically suggesting that I somehow cut myself and was trying to blame them. I found that response absolutely ridiculous and incredibly dismissive. I know what happened during my appointment, and I know what my skin looked like before and afterward. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just accountability and a refund for a treatment that left me with cuts. The way they handled my complaint was honestly more upsetting than the original incident. Very disappointed with both the experience and how management chose to handle it. I will not be returning and wanted to share my experience so others are aware.

Instead of taking responsibility, offering a refund, or making a meaningful effort to resolve the issue, I have been met with delays and requests for additional information while my concerns remain unresolved. I did not trust them again to return to be evaluated by them but sent my PCP evaluation to them. I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to ask about the experience level of the technician performing their procedure and to carefully consider whether this is the level of customer care they would expect if complications arise.
