I got my lips done at California Cosmetics in 2017 and twice recently along with Botox a few times. The office staff at both locations are nice and extremely helpful. The Newport location is beautiful but I prefer the Corona office because it is a quicker drive from Westlake Village. I often turn it into a day trip and it is always worth it. Sherry the office manager is the sweetest and answers whenever I need help. Dr. B is amazing and very personable. They never pressure you into additional work and always focus on what is best. He has done excellent work on my lips with great natural looking results. The dental block makes the lip procedures almost painless which was hard to find locally. I also start taking arnica a few days before to help reduce any potential bruising. I plan to return next month and highly recommend them for their professional and reliable service. read more

I just had to update my review after recently trying the NSNJ with Dr. B! I've done pretty much every treatment with him including the cleopatra brows, Botox, under eye filler/reg. filler, kybella and more (HIGHLY recommend doing your treatments with him!!) but this has to be my all time favorite! The NSNJ package comes with 2 treatments (1 a month later) and even after my first treatment and 1 week in I'm so excited for the next one! I've gotten so many compliments. She's sweet, is experienced in surgical procedures aside from cosmetic surgery (trustable, wide range of knowledge) executed what I was looking for & did a spot-test due to my skin sensitivity to hyaluronic acid. I had no allergic reaction, and I am happy with my even, balanced pouty lips! Purchased the kissable lips package with 4 units of Botox. Get the Botox, it slightly flips the lip & gives a pouty look in addition to the fullness from the filler. You need both! I didn't think I needed it because I already had full lips, but so so happy I did. Also, Kim the Nurse Practitioner who ran through medical screening with me was SO kind. While they sanitize the room and follow all covid-19 protocols, they will let you know when the next room is available. Sharlene and really everyone in the office is very sweet and kind. I had to dissolve a little and clean up after two syringes before I did this last syringe. Waited at least two weeks before coming back in to get refilled. I've been to another med spa for my very first syringe and did not have a good experience. I had to get most of it dissolved. After doing some research, I found California cosmetics. Slightly pricier but you get what you pay for in my opinion. And they will have deals / specials going on all year long. Great experience for my first visit here. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment I called to schedule my appointment and pre-purchase a product deal from their website. The day of my visit, I was greeted equally friendly by the front desk "babe" - yup staff and clients are all "babe" there :) My appointment was with Claire and I must say she is a magician with tiny needles. Still upset about this i got my lips done for the first time here .. only 1 Syringe of Juverderm Voluma XC and i had bumps in my lips !!! Was told to wait for the recovery period to end for swelling to go down . Patiently waited on and there were still lumps.. scheduled a "free" appointment to "fix" the issue but they dissolved the filler and i was told to reschedule a new appointment for another syringe .
