I loved it! I drove from Sherman Oaks to get my first filler/botox done by Dr. B. He was so friendly and put me at ease as I was nervous. I just had to update my review after recently trying the NSNJ with Dr. B! I've done pretty much every treatment with him including the cleopatra brows, Botox, under eye filler/reg. filler, kybella and more (HIGHLY recommend doing your treatments with him!!) but this has to be my all time favorite! I had no allergic reaction, and I am happy with my even, balanced pouty lips! Purchased the kissable lips package with 4 units of Botox. Get the Botox, it slightly flips the lip & gives a pouty look in addition to the fullness from the filler. You need both! Still upset about this i got my lips done for the first time here .. only 1 Syringe of Juverderm Voluma XC and i had bumps in my lips !!! Was told to wait for the recovery period to end for swelling to go down . Patiently waited on and there were still lumps.. scheduled a "free" appointment to "fix" the issue but they dissolved the filler and i was told to reschedule a new appointment for another syringe . I went to Doctor B around November. I decided to spend 1.5k to get things done to my face which included a third syringe of lip filler. I wanted half a syringe, but their patient relations manager Sheri said that they didn't offer half syringes. Mind you I was already extremely happy with my lips at 2 syringes, but I wanted a little more volume. I went in with eyelashes on, because I'm transitioning male to female, and I'm trying to present female. He came in, looked a little bit uncomfortable, to be honest, and still treated me with the "Bro" treatment, which is fine. I reminded him, I had a scar on my lip, which he had previously blended when I was previously botched with them the first time. Mind you, at that time he told me, "If you like it, you like it, but if you don't, you don't." Which I forgave because I made myself believe I was deserving of that treatment. I understand I have a scar on my lip, but this last time to me is just straight-up negligent. I noticed that he kept injecting the product into my scar. I was like what WTF? But I trusted him because he fixed my lips the first time. And when the session was over, he didn't even give me the mirror to look at myself, he just walked out. I work nights at a hospital as a Registered Nurse and when my coworkers saw my lips. They immediately saw that I was deformed. They kept pointing out that my lips looked lopsided and that he didn't inject enough filler into one side of my mouth. I was emotional, I cried at work. Days after I still look botched. I went back 4 weeks later, even though Sheri told me he was out of town. I just walked in unannounced. To fix the issue he added more filler to the corner of my mouth. While also injecting a dissolver into the bump. But to me, this is almost counterintuitive. Why not wait and see how things dissolve before reinjecting again? Long story short I had to come in again, because surprise, it still looked uneven, as it should when you're injecting blindly. But this time they charged me for the dissolver. Which honestly irritated me, because I'm already botched and stressed about the situation. But I guess regardless. I'm never going there again; I'll happily give my money to someone else. I'm not a Millionaire like many in Newport Beach are, but I'm a human being. I felt things were mishandled. I can only give you, my experience. Don't go to them if you're a regular human being not a millionaire or IG model. They probably won't take your results seriously. They won't listen and they won't do an assessment. But go at your discretion. read more

I will try not to make this into a novel, but I have a lot to say about this place. To summarize, I have been getting injectables for the last 15 years, as I am from Miami was in the entertainment business and was an early adopter of non surgical cosmetics. Having been born with asymmetrical, thin, and less than ideally shaped lips with a longish philtrum, this has always been the holy grail for me. I've had a lot of work done on them over the years, ranging from terrible to excellent. I have been attempting to correct a hideously deformed looking lip augmentation done in 2016 by a double board certified, Standford educated plastic surgeon in San Diego (under the mistaken belief that these qualifications meant he would do great work). To that end, I flew back to Florida in January 2020 (yes, the material from the 2016 botch was still visible 4 years later) to see a lip expert with amazing before and afters and a flawless reputation. He was great, and his work on my cheeks and jaw was great. The lips...not so much. The material he used looked okay right after the injections- but over the course of the next few days it sort of melted into the space above the border. It was hard to tell until the bruising and swelling came down a week or two later, at which time I was back in CA, but ultimately they just looked the same as they did before but bigger and more diffuse. They were still crooked, undefined, corners going in two different directions, duck like, and in general just looked like an aging woman with poorly done/overdone lips. Not the look I was shooting for, obviously. I began again to ask around and research if there was any possibility of ever having normal-looking lips. I had also begun to psychologically resign myself to the fact it just may not be in my cards. I thought, maybe I should just focus more on my hair lol. I also started to look into places for my mom to get her under eyes done. She was a newbie and I wanted to make sure she got someone good, as I went through some issues with that area in the past as well which have since been corrected. To make a long story less long, I was referred to Dr B by a trusted friend whose face looked freakin phenomenal when I saw her at Christmastime. I went there with my Mom and ended up getting my lips dissolved (begrudgingly, but thank GOD I did) and redone, as well as more filler in the jaw and chin. He did my moms eyes and cheeks as well. Not only did he manage to correct every single detail about my lips (I had an actual bullet-point list and it was not short -- I know, shocker!), but he did it with very little added material so they were shaped well and sized appropriately. They flip up now, have a defined border, are even on both sides and there's no weird "M" shape along the set line. My philtrum even looks shorter. And my mom looks 10 years younger easily, from just what he did on her upper face. I am not an influencer or a young person and don't really want to look like one. The instagram inspired video loops and perfectly appointed office and staff gave me and my Mom pause initially, because we both want to look natural but prettier/younger...but in the end we fell in love with this Doctor's technical skills, artistic talent, patience, bedside manner, and the guy is cool! Usually I like a nerdy doctor with no life so he can study more lol...but Dr B is an anomaly. He impressed me on so many levels. I love my lips. I love my jaw. Mom loves her eyes and cheeks. And I can't wait to get out of quarantine and go back for a touch up!!! Meanwhile I will stay locked down, looking in the mirror and thanking all that is holy that I found Dr B. read more
