The animals are well cared for and when you walk the grounds you can tell the farm is organized and properly run. My son had a blast watching the sheep grazing on the hill, the flock of geese marching around with the lead goose barking orders, the cute farm dog (boxer) and the hen house complete with a rooster crowing and guarding his peeps! The market has tons of different types of meats so bring a cooler and load up! The grounds are extensive so we didn't get to see the other animals. We used Hipcamp to book our stay and asking guests for money via Venmo is not in their policies. Contrary to Mary's listing, there was hardly ANY potable water and there was a lot of delayed or completely ghosted texts when we needed help. Mary had us clean our dishes in an unsanitary animal bucket, she never gave us a firepit grill only broken parts of an oven, she gave us a different campsite than the one we booked, then lied about it when asked. She was misleading about the services she claimed she would provide and also accused us of breaking an old rusted bike pump, which we borrowed with her permission but we never used. She told us drinks in the community room (for campers) were available to us via donation, but then after we donated what we had, she sent multiple, hostile messages after we left that said she did not find the amount suitable and that there were rules to donating. She never informed us of these rules despite us checking with her about the drinks a total of 3 times both in person and with texts. I really wished things were different. Following Hipcamp's policies, we asked Mary for a refund for the trip. As expected, she denied a refund so I reported my experience with text/photo evidence to Hipcamp and they refunded and have told her to make changes.

Using grapes shipped from CA and mixing with apples crown on site, this small batch operation is a delightful stop. Specifically, I want to shout out our wine guide who took us through several of their wines. She made our experience there memorable with her amazing personality, charm, and humor. The space is small but offers a variety of options to hang out and enjoy their wines and ciders - inside by the fireplace, outside on the screen porch, or outdoors on the patio.
