Extremely rude behavior from either the dental assistant or receptionist. There was zero communication that I couldn't bring my children (plenty old enough to sit with their tablets). The dentist came, and said "how can we make this right" then immediately asked "so do you have someone to watch the kids". I have never been to any appointment where I was met with such ridiculously rude behavior. My children have attended many of my appointments for other medical needs. If you are ok with working with people who aren't the slightest bit willing to work with their patients, and be even slightly kind then this is the place for you! If you want to be met with basic respect, don't go. It's simple, and it makes a difference. Period. I'd like to update the review based on what would occur later BECAUSE I provided a transparent review. After I left this review, Ariata would then charge me $50 for a cancellation. The reason for me saying "I need to find a new dentist" and originally choosing to leave with my two children is I no longer felt safe. I couldn't in my right mind allow him to proceed with the appointment. When I saw the charge, I called to respectfully ask to reverse the charge and the dentist quite literally was yelling at me on the phone saying "I was going to do you a courtesy of walking out because of your circumstances BUT then I saw your review... f*** around and find out". I was appalled. This man was absolutely unhinged on the phone and accused me of things that never happened. He then began to insult me as a mother and accuse me of leaving my children unattended when, that never happened, and that was never something that I planned on happening. Ever. The "conversation" would continue to be him speaking aggressively and saying that he will not reverse the $50 charge. Throughout this conversation, my asks were very simple: please add clear communication to new patients and on your website that kids are not allowed in the office and second to please reverse the charge. That is it. Ultimately, it was an absolutely horrific experience and I write this to make others aware that if you attend or plan to attend this dentist office, please do so CAREFULLY.

When I arrived for my appointment front desk lady did COVID screening and the nurse took x-rays. Dr. Priya did a thorough overall analysis of my teeth and showed few tooth that needed cavities filled. Doctor suggested that I perform tooth filling to avoid further damage by tooth cavities. They also did a thorough cleaning of my teeth. Doctor did a wonderful job of removing my cracked tooth. I have negligible pain even after the local anesthesia has reduced. They gave post-op instructions to follow after the tooth extraction. I am very happy with the service provided by Vernon Dental Care team. I heard Dr Zulawinski and one of the managers there chatting and talking about their personal lives throughout my whole visit. This establishment is great but just not a very professional environment for a doctor's office. Chatting with coworkers is not uncommon but just seemed the conversation to be a bit inappropriate. I haven't had an experience like this in the recent visits. I have been to this office a total of 3 times. Not to mention there were so many people waiting while the doctor is chatting in the office towards the front where everyone can listen in. The only other thing is they are not in network with my insurance and their prices are a lot higher than most offices I've visited in the past.

I paid for her wisdom tooth extraction. My sister has anxiety so she requested IV sedation to which they charged me an additional $500. She got there at 12pm my mom dropped her off. The dental assistants were more concerned with orderring their lunches from Sunset foods than my sister or her procedure. At 12:15 they told my mom she was done my mom was shocked she saw my sister completely alert and awake where was this so-called IV sedation? They gave her an IV but she did not seem sedated at all. They rang up my credit card nearly $1000 for a 15 minute botched job and out the door she went. Not an hour later my sister was screaming in excruciating pain she had never felt this kind of pain in her life she wound up going to the emergency room three times she had an abscess and an infection and she stayed in the hospital for a total of 3 days this butcher of a dentist never gave her IV sedation when I saw the receipt they charged her for nitrous oxide. They lied about the IV sedation. When my sister called to tell them there was complications they said you don't have to call us we are not general dentists. They only called her back when the ER doctor contacted this dentist. The receptionist called my phone and said they wanted to speak to my mom regarding my sister being in the hospital. I said please talk to me they said I'm sorry "we can't discuss this with you"I said well why do you want to talk to my mom? I said then why are you calling my cell phone number? what name do you have on the emergency contact list? they said my name. I said well then if I am her emergency contact why are you calling my mother? I am her emergency contact I am the one that paid for for her procedure you should talk to me about this the receptionist got really nervous and said let me talk to the doctor and she hung up on me. The dentist did not want to speak to me because he knows what a mess he made of the whole thing he knows he lied about the IV sedation and the overcharge the ER doctor said that she had a severe infection she was an IV antibiotic drip for three days and then he has the nerve to say that she did not have an infection or an abscess they even did an x-ray and said that they could see an abscess at the extraction site and he said that they were wrong he is such a LIAR. The least he could've done is refund me the $500 for the IV sedation that she never got he's so full of crap he thinks I'm so stupid that I don't realize that she didn't get that? Thief and a liar stay away from this dentist he is horrendous. He showed up to my sisters hospital room all nervous because he was worried she might sue him these disgusting dentists have the best lawyers and they cover themselves all up the Ying yang.
