Everytime I go to Define, it is an experience. Not many people can say that about getting their hair cut. Rewind back to February of 2015, I was days away from getting married and the lady who cut my hair at Floyd's was not only out of town, not helpful in finding a new stylist to do my 'do correctly. I have what I would call a Eurotrash soccer mullet that takes some skill to do. I was scared because I was about to get married and it wasn't a good time to experiment. My now wife (it all worked out) was getting her haircut by Hannah. I decided to go for it. She then proceeded to give me the best haircut every time after that. Awesome. Not only that, you get FREE beer and wine when you go! Hannah is one of the most entertaining characters I have ever met. This means a lot coming from a psychotherapist. She is hilarious, spunky and makes the excellent haircut and experience. Hannah rocks. I have to give her some credit for my wife marrying me since the cut was so good. read more

Kortney has been doing my hair since I moved here a couple of years ago. She's amazing! She's very good at doing my hair exactly like the photo I show her. I've been doing shades of purple for a while now and she does a phenomenal job every time. My hair is currently a "mauve" color that she concocted and I'm obsessed with it! I am so excited for all of the stylists at Define! I followed Jaclyn from another salon simply because she is truly awesome--and my hair would be a disaster without her! The salon has a wonderful comfortable vibe. The last time I was there was during the bone chilling cold and snow in November and let me just say that next to saying hi to Jaclyn nothing warmed my heart more than being offered a hot chocolate/coffee/beer/soda. Now to my fabulous stylist...Jaclyn has been working my locks for over 2 years now and my hair has never been better. She knows that I want to try new things, but am hesitant to do it, and she helps ease me into different styles and color treatments beautifully (ask her about the sombre--or starter ombre). She also did mine, and my bridal party's hair, for the wedding and I am still obsessed with how beautiful all the girls looked. I really did not want to take my hair down after the wedding because of how gorgeous it was. Jaclyn has been my stylist for over 10 years and I couldn't love this salon more. She is straightforward when discussing a new cut or color and collaborative when making decisions. Always open to what I would like to do but tells me when an aspect might need to be tweaked to work for my face shape or hair thickness. I visited Jaclyn at Define hair salon today and she was incredible! Not only her personality was amazing but she was super accommodating! They give you wine or your drink of preference. I got a balayage and a cut and I've spent more than double the amount of money at a cherry creek salon that held me captive for almost 5 hours and Jaclyn did a fabulous job that only took 2 hours! Pricing is great, I paid about 200$ (not including tip). Jaclyn was very receptive to what I wanted and also realistic. I am def going back to her! Highly recommended! read more

I'm proud to be a loyal client. Van makes it easy. He's not afraid to try new things with my hair, and any cut or style lasts for months. On another note, after my most recent cut and color, I have NEVER had so many compliments on my hair! Again, props to Van! The salon looks as beautiful and fresh as the day it opened. Big picture windows so let's a ton of natural light in. They have their own parking lot so there is no need for change to be eaten by the meters. And if you have to park at a meter, they pay for it! Went to Define Hair Salon today. I have been to many hair stylists over the years. Jen Voight is the absolute best hair stylist I have ever had! She is so sweet to be around, takes her time to listen to exactly what you want, then completes your style to perfection! Best highlights, lowlights combination ever! Love the hair cut, it is fabulous. My hair smells Amazing and is so soft. She goes above and beyond to perfect your style. They also work you in to fit your schedule. Define is exactly the kind of salon I have been looking for since moving to Denver. I made an an appoint for the first available and ended up getting a perfect match in stylist, Jaclyn. She has cut my hair twice now and I couldn't be happier! She is incredibly sweet, talented, professional, and really listens to her clients. She's also not afraid to give suggestions and push you to try slightly different things. Everyone I've seen come out of the salon leaves looking great, so I have no doubt that the other stylists are equally as committed to providing a great service. The salon itself is modern, bright, incredibly clean, and everyone seems to really enjoy their job and each other which makes for a really relaxed atmosphere; exactly what you want in a salon! I have been getting for hair done with Kortney for a few years now. She is amazing with color. We've done everything from purple ombré to all over purple, green, blue and turquoise. I have long thick dark hair and she got my hair to a perfect bleach blonde in only a couple sessions. She also gives really great haircuts. I now have my husband going to her too, and no one has ever been able to cut his super curly hair as well as she does. I highly recommend Kortney! read more
