You look up, the air is so thick you can actually see the droplets of water in the air. At least five people per class drop, a couple leave. This is not the Navy Seals. This is YogaSix. I've been practicing hot yoga for over ten years, all across the country. This studio by far exceeds the temperature of any studio I've visited. Quite frankly, I think this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. New yogis trust their instructors to keep the room at a safe temperature. That isn't happening. The heat vents are aimed at the face. The instructors don't try all that hard to control the room conditions. The series itself is great. I was actually excited when I first signed up. It was nice to finally find a studio that could be counted on to have a complete and balanced series. They don't take shortcuts and I know I'm going to have a full practice. The first couple of classes I attended has instructors who kept the room around 106 degrees. My excitement died after my third class once the temperatures were set higher, and it hasn't returned since. The classes are just too hot and humid. Despite complaints daily from various customers, the owner and instructors don't seem to want to change anything. I won't be continuing my practice at YogaSix once the time I've paid for ends. Yoga is supposed to leave you feeling better when you are done with class vs. when you arrived. Instead, I leave class completely drained. I used to go to yoga 6-7 days a week, prior to joining YogaSix. I now drag myself there about 4 times a week. It's just too difficult to keep my mineral levels where they need to be, given the amount of sweating that is done in every class. Not a single person in the room isn't drenched at the end of class. Just go sit outside the studio when class is over and watch people walk out. You'll see I am in no way exaggerating the experience. I couldn't be more disappointed.

Absolutely love this place!…read more The review about it being too hot is bogus. The temperature is great for HOT yoga I have been going to ALL of the YogaSix studios for 2 years now and love them.

The routes were a lot of fun here! There was a good mix of overhang routes, slab, coordination routes, top outs, dynos, and everything in between. Whether you're a beginner or pro, there was routes for everyone difficulty wise. I was able to finish routes up to V5/V6 here which is pretty accurate to what I climb back home in Houston. There is also a weight room, training area, yoga room, silks area, slack line area, merchandise shop, seating areas, and a bar available. This gym really has it all! The climbing community seems to be pretty close knit here as well, as many of the members seem to be friends sharing beta. The youth climbing team was pretty good here too if you have a kid interested in climbing competitions. I highly recommend everyone to check out this gym whether you're visiting Boise or a Boise native!

No experience is needed as they offer intro classes making it accessible to a wide range of fitness levels. It's a unique, fun and exhilarating way to get fit especially since they offer unlimited memberships. It's a very encouraging and supportive community. I can't get enough of it.
