It was visual on outside and a video camera was passed up to top of chimney and 360 degree views taken of the entire course. Only problem was a frozen damper. The inspector did not go up on the roof to examine the "H" shaped cap. Three months later, I made my first fire and got completely smoked out. Confirmed that damper was open. I called inspector, explained that it was very windy when the downdraft occurred. After several text exchanges, he blamed the problem on the cap. I asked if he could take another look at the chimney and never heard back. I don't necessarily blame Parker Chimney Sweep for the smoke filled room. I gave them 2 stars because they never followed up with my concerns AND because I had a house full of smoke and a report that said "Clean and safe for use."

Made futile attempts to fix it. Then after all that claimed I needed a new A/C. They sent an estimate. Called another company who then fixed the wiring and it's been fine ever since!! Despite numerous attempts for them to complete insulation they have never responded.
