Honestly, my experience was very disappointing. I originally went in for an acrylic set, but I felt pressured into adding a pedicure--even though I wasn't comfortable with it and didn't feel like I could say no. While doing my nails, the owner was on the phone the entire time, which felt unprofessional and added to the rushed service. She used a metal tool on my cuticles so roughly that it was painful, and the gel was applied way too thick. The final result looked terrible. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

It's simply convenient to come to when in LBI so that's really the only good thing I can truthfully share. The people are super unfriendly everytime I have come here. Never a 'hello' or 'welcome back', (have been coming here on and off for the past three summers) Last gel manicure I got here, they didn't put the finishing coat on all nails so about 4 of my 10 nails had that gummy finish. I feel rushed all the time even though there's not people waiting. Oh well, need to get my paws and claws done prior to vacation next time. read more

This place is not worth ur money!!!! I went in and no one was in the salon i got dip with tip on my fingers and not only did she cut them way to short so layed the dip powder on super thick. I was hoping it would get better but no while filling down the harden dip she cut my cuticles and 3 days later they are still raw. When she was done there was dip powder all over my fingers. Not to mention i asked for almond and i got round. She told me to wash my hands and she was done no message, lotion, or even a warm towel the place was disgusting and dirty don't waste ur time or money on this place please!! This place is totally unsanitary. My mom, sister-in-law and I came in for pedicures today and when trimming my sister in law's toe nails they cut her and she was bleeding into the foot basin. They did nothing to clean out the basin after she bled into it before the next person and there are no plastic liners inside. As we went to leave they also asked for my foam toe dividers back because they reuse them. GAG. And in addition to this we made an appointment which turned out to be completely useless since we got there on time and it was packed. We had to wait close to 40 minutes. The nail polish my mom picked out was so old and gooey they told her she had to pick a new one. This was after sorting through all the other paint colors that wouldn't even mix when you shook them they were so old. Terrible experience would rather just do my nails at home! read more

I have been here many times and the owner Mary has always been friendly. Service is mediocre but when we are here on weekends we come for a quick pedi. I went in today with my 4 year old daughter, whom was very excited to also get a mani and pedi. The technician sitting at chair 3 was not happy that my daughter was with me. They sat me at chair 4 as it was busy and I was just soaking my feet. They didn't give my daughter the empty chair 5 so she just stood next to my chair. The technician grunted at my daughter and said No and moved my daughters hands off of my feet as she was just touching my feet. Let me say no one was working on me and she stopped working on her person to do that. The woman at chair 3 complained to Mary about her service. Then this technician who I presume was annoyed at her customer stood up grabbed my 4 year old and slammed her in a chair!! And said shhhh!! I was appalled and shocked as my daughter was talking to me and not doing anything to disturb anyone!! I obviously told her it was unacceptably and got out of the water. The other customers were in shock and told me she didn't understand anything I said so I spoke directly to the owner Mary. Nothing was done and we walked out. I didn't call the police to press charges for battery on a minor as my daughter was pretty shaken up. But I truly am disgusted! If there were Negative stars I would rate this below 0! Worst acrylic manicure ever!!!First off they let people skip ahead of me and my friend even tho we were there first so we waited an hour before they started doing our nails.Second my nails look awful.They are all crooked and uneven,my nails aren't even fully painted and they messed up my cuticles. Nope. Call at 1 for an "appointment" at 4 but she doesn't take our name... so I guess a timed walk in. I come in at 4, place looks a little jenky. But it's the Jersey shore, I'll give them a chance. Immediately I'm pointed to the color wall. The labels are faded, no care is taken to keep the place physically attractive. So I sit, and I sit and I sit. For 1 whole hour. So much for my "appointment". Please don't take more business than you can handle (bear in mind this is the 3rd of July so lots of people want to look good). After an hour I am escorted to "chair number five and six please". This review would be good had the nails been good. I simply do not care that none of the attendance spoke a word of English not even hot cold short and long. But every single one of my nails is a different length, every cuticle is cut differently, and the nail polish simply looks like I did it myself. Actually I would've done this better especially for $45..... trust this review do not go here or you will be tempted to correct her as she's doing her nails, but even if you did she would just smile at you. I will make this simple. Not only was I left soaking my feet for 30 minutes ( literally) while the salon was empty but for two people being waited on ( I had an appt), but when I went in for an eyebrow wax after, I was given a lip wax as well. All so fast. Never had one, didn't want one, my lip was red and swollen and when I looked in mirror, my one eyebrow was terribly uneven . Not going back. This is second day and still can't get over it. This is off season and things are quiet on the island. There are other establishments you can visit here for grooming. read more

I will never go back. My first experience there was fine, except the woman that did my nails decided what she wanted to do on my nails (ombre) which ended up being fine, but thats not what i asked for. I cam back 3 weeks later for dip (which is what i normally get) where she proceeded to give me a FILL? and left my ombre on, and painted on top of it with a gel polish which was completely different than the color i asked for. A week later and they look like this. So disappointed. My mom's nails are even worse. She had hot pink and the nail tech painted right over the hot pink with blue so you can see the pink underneath. DO NOT GO HERE! I went in there for just A fill. So I sat down and I had rounded nails so I asked for a squared so she took all the nails off on hand and put a new set. But didn't take the nails off the other hand. So then she proceeded to layer and layer acrylic on top of the rounded nails and tried to make them squared. So one hand looks squared and one of them looks Like someone tried to make them squared. My nails are all different lengths and shapes. Also when she was doing the polish I was assuming she do it until you can't see through the polish anymore but the polish is splotchy those lines in it and you could see right through it and the nails overall just look crappy. They look better in the picture than they do in person but in person you could see the spots with almost no polish. read more

For being in such a busy location I'm surprised how well they do with keeping wait times so low. The only reason for not a 5 star is bc I feel like they can be cleaner. There are parts of the floor that need to be mopped more than once a week. Everyone is very friendly, efficient and does a good job. I don't prefer one person over the next, like I usually do at nail salons. The price is very reasonable for Lbi. It's a standard NJ nail spot- this is not a spa by any means. Have to admit, stopped in here after a massage across the street and didn't read the reviews prior. Glad I didn't, because I thought they did a fine job on my pedicure. All instruments were opened fresh from packages, as were the toe spacers. My technician was meticulous in filing my nails, dealing with my cuticles, and painting them. They really tamed my callouses and my feet looked great even before painting. Haven't been to any other nail salon down in LBI but I would definitely come here again. read more

Been twice since first visit and today will be last. Went I with a picture of a SIMPLE French tip with color tips and couldn't do. Showed four more pics of SIMPLE French tip designs but they didn't carry any newer colors. Was extremely pushed to do gel polish, but finally said a stiff no and went for regular French. The guy was nice (never introduced himself) but applied paint three-four times. White paint was so thick! Worst part was there is NOTHING was sterilized. Watched just grab utensils out of basket & heard lady ask about pedicure cleanliness - she never got an answer! One good thing - price was $20 read more

I am a 20 year old woman who has had their fair share of pedicures in life but also is not very nit picky on the cleanliness of the salons, etc. I have been here a few times and really didn't mind it, it was good enough for what I needed in a pinch. I got a pedicure and gel manicure this time as usual and the tools they used were not taken out of a sterilizer. Usually I am ok with this as I said I assume it is already cleaned. The woman wiped off the old cuticle from whomever she used this tool on last and then continued to use it on my toes. She then caused me to bleed and now I have this terrible infection. Unlike all of these reviews I had a good experience. I called first to ask if I needed to make an appointment or just walk in, and they told me that I could come in right now and right as I got there, I did not have to wait at all. When I was in there, in the pedicure chair next to me the lady thought in all of her equipment so she didn't have to share (pandemic times woo) and the nail lady accommodated her needs. My manicure and pedicure is lovely. I even saw them take a lot of safety and cleaning procedures so I knew I was safe. I loved my experience there, I would definitely go back! read more

Don't listen to bad reviews!! I go here a couple times a month and no where else! They do the best gel manicure, it actually lasts!! Their spa pedicure is the best around! Went here before I left for vacation, I wanted my natural nail to be extended, but I still wanted to keep them short. I asked for French, apparently that means pink and whites. Fine, no big deal...long story short the white part of the French was at all different heights, my nails kind of fanned out from the cuticle, and the nails themselves were not all the same length. Received a pedicure from a different woman, and she literally butchered my feet. My big toes were cut crookedly, the paint job was awful. First, we made an appointment days in advance for 8 people and when we got there we had to wait at least 45 minutes just to get in a chair. Then they almost gave a chair to a walk in customer and skip over one of our group members. Then right in the middle of me getting my nails done, the owner pulled the employee right out of his seat to attend to a new customer. I was left there with half done nail polish for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then the owner came over to "finish" the already botched job and she didn't fix anything and even got nail polish all on my skin. I asked her to clean the polish up politely and she rolled her eyes and walked away, then came back with a cotton ball a few minutes later. Then we told her my nails were messed up because they weren't painted all the way down to the cuticle and she proceeded to blame me for having short nails. (What does my nails being short have to do with my nails not being fully painted?) A few others in our party had issues with their nails as well and received the same rushed, botched job as I did. If I could give this place zero or negative stars I would. This is THE worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life and I promise the entire group and I will never be back again. P.S. my nails chipped a few hours later. Oh and my 6 year old could have painted my nail better. I enjoyed the day out with the girls, but I did not enjoy the service, quality, or end result of our trip. P.S.
