Best banh mi in the Westbank, hands down. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for! $5.99 for their combination. But! They stuff their banh mi with all the meats & veggies. And their banh mi is a little longer than other places, so that makes it even better! Their combination banh mi is my favorite. But, you can't go wrong with any of their other choices. Came across this bakery on my quest for the best cream puff! Lol Unfortunately, this wasn't the place for the best cream puff but instead I had the most amazing croissant! I brought both butter and almond and they were amazing! They also sell Vietnamese Baguette Poboys SERVED WITH HOMEMADE MAYO, CUCUMBER SLICES, PICKLED CARROTS, JALAPENOS, SOY SAUCE AND SALT. Ok, this is by far one of the best banh mi place we have in the Westbank. I wish I would've found this gem earlier in life. The banh mi bread itself was delicious. Reminds me a lot of the traditional banh mi in Vietnam. Crispy on the outside and soft/airy on the inside. The mochi balls here are awesome as well. They have three kinds and all filled differently. I'm not much of a mochi fan, but I heard good things about theirs. Glad I gave them a chance. Do yourself a favor and stop by to grab a few banh mi and desert. For $5 per banh mi you can't beat it. I usually order pate chaud from here for large gatherings. I love that they offer the bite sized portions and not just the large size, so it's a great snack or appetizer for parties! Their pate chaud is also delicious with its signature buttery, flaky crust and meat stuffing. I love that their prices are reasonable. I haven't tried their desserts yet but I plan to one day. Wow, my last review was over 6 months ago due to Covid. We just stopped eating out but still have ordered takeout here and there. I know it's a tough time for many small businesses and this store has definitely seen the impacts. I went in wanting to buy some pork buns and other baked goods, but all the shelves were empty. The lady asked me if I was there for pork buns and I thought she must have some in the back. She then responded that they don't have any. I felt bad leaving empty handed, so I got myself two banh mi's. They were fine and on freshly baked bread. Some of the best fresh baked baguettes you can get in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They've got assorted desserts, baked goods, and fresh made po-boys. they're baked bread is amazing though. Edit: recently visited this place again to order their fresh baked baguette... and it seemed they changed the recipe and the bread was not as good as it used to be. Sweet little shop. Great customer service, very friendly! I picked up Cafe Sua Da aka Vietnamese French coffee, very good! Fastly made, thank goodness. I also ordered Pate Chaud; 1 chicken and 1 pork, a buttered croissant, and their Dejepe special sandwich (cold cuts, but no headcheese, which I like, but it's ok). EVERYTHING was delicious! I love the homemade baguette they use, it's the best I've had for this type of sandwich. I couldn't finish the sandwich in one sitting, but when I came back to finish it, the baguette was still fresh tasting! Wth o_O. Good portions. It smells so good in this shop! Love this place! A hole in the wall on berhman highway. Has a mix of vietnamese bread & coffee and french baked goods. My favorite banh mi are the xiu mai (meatball) and dac biet (combination). Their banh mi is bigger than your average banh mi you can find anywhere else. The iced coffee is a little too sweet for my liking but still good! Inexpensive & tasty! Recommend 10/10 read more

I can't begin to tell you how much I love their Vietnamese sandwiches. There's lots of places around here that sell Vietnamese sandwiches but none come close to the delicious taste of Dejepe Bakery. The bread they use is a French baguette that is light, airy, and crispy at the same time. The butter and pate is so creamy and savory. I always get the #1 or combination. The sandwich is enough for me to make two meals. I'm drooling just thinking about it! I stop at least once a week. I definitely recommend everyone to come try!
