***Disclaimer: Yet another long review from the desk of Jarred F., but I promise you, it will be worth the read*** Tucked away in the heart of Metairie is this cute, upscale cafe that I actually had the pleasure of being able to work at from the time they opened it back in 2010, until 2016. That being said, I am going to keep this review as unbiased as I can, but this is a sweet thing for me to be able to do for them. Caffe! Caffe! is in a little strip mall on North Hullen right by Causeway Boulevard in Metairie. Its tucked away slightly, but all of the local businesses in the area seem to find their way here for lunch and here is why: They are incredible at what they do. The quality of the people they have working here, and the quality of the products that they put out, are bar none-top notch, and its hard to find places that can rival them that are local and not just some chain brunch place. They open in the morning for breakfast and serve a great selection of healthy items all they way to more savory items. They also have an incredible selection of coffee beverages as well. On this particular day, I was off of work and had to take my brother to the hospital for surgery, and it dawned upon me to pay a visit to the cafe that was near and dear to my heart for so many years. I got there around 11:30 and they weren't too busy at first, but I soon saw the lunch rush come in, it got to be more of what I remembered it being like in peak busy times. So I stepped up to the counter to place my order. I love that they have a pastry case displaying their pies and assortment of refrigerated pastries that you can purchase as you wait in line to place your order. Then they line the whole counter up with baked goods, that are all baked in house, for you to do what we called when I worked there, "the walk of shame." Those pastries looked delicious but I refrained myself...today. I ordered for us to go since I was trying to get home with my brother, but I would've loved to have sat in their cute dining area that has bar seating, hightops, and regular seating tables. They also have outdoor patio seating for those interested in that. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar Pita, one of their most popular items, for my brother, and I ordered the classic Chicken Salad served over romaine with poppyseed dressing for myself. The staff was just as friendly and efficient as I remember of the people I used to work with. As it became busier, you saw them kick into high gear mode to accommodate the line going out to the door. Another nice touch was that the owner, Lisa Beck, was behind the counter helping run the operation today, so I really enjoyed getting to see her in her element. They made the order very quickly and I was able to get it in a reasonable time to get out before the heat of the lunch rush set in. The Grilled Caesar Pita looked just as good as I remembered it being, and my brother really seemed to enjoy it. He inhaled the entire thing in a matter of minutes! My Chicken Salad was outstanding. The romaine was so fresh and crisp, and the chicken salad itself was just simply delectable. The homemade poppyseed dressing was delicious. Not too thick and not too sweet, and it didn't make my salad soggy when I tossed it. So in conclusion, Caffe! Caffe! is definitely deserving of a FULL five-star review because of their outstanding standards and dedication to the quality of what they produce, excellence in service, cleanliness, ambiance, and the overall package of the business as a whole. I highly recommend this establishment whole heartedly to anyone. Go for breakfast, go for lunch, go for morning or afternoon coffee! Go experience the excellence of what they have to offer as local business owners in Metairie. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

I've been coming here for quite a while. I definitely think it's a solid choice for a meal. The soups especially are delicious, but the sandwiches and breakfast are pretty good as well. The service is friendly. On this particular breakfast visit, my husband got a bagel breakfast sandwich, I got a toast sandwich and we shared grits with bacon and cheese added. Delicious! As a bonus, they have fantastic iced tea, and a dessert case to die for.

One of my favorite lunch spots in the Metairie area. Service is good and the food is fresh. I always do the caffe combination - caffe club with turkey + side Caesar salad. Never steers me wrong. Sometimes it'll take a while to place your order during peak bc of how busy it gets. 1 star off because of the horrendous, tiny parking lot.

These are the photos of Caffe Caffe menu. There are always different soups and fresh brewed teas of the day as well!

I am lucky that I work so close to this establishment! Their food is filling and fresh. If you can make it here by foot I would recommend the walk because parking during the lunch rush can prove to be complicated. If your calling is chocolate then get the monstrosity that is their chocolate cookie. It's crisp yet chewy world has a mind of its own. Buyer beware- it's addicting. I also love that you can order a sizable amount for a last minute working lunch for an office. I did an order of 10 sandwiches and salads and 25 minutes later they were in my hand as I walked over to my desk!

A good go to place for a quick lunch and the cafe atmosphere is nice. Everyone is always friendly and the food is always super consistent which is great (even between the N. Hullen and Clearview locations!)

While the parking lot might look full during lunchtime, there was plenty of seating inside the caffe. I walked right up to the front to order. There was no line. I ordered the turkey club sandwich. It was carving board turkey. The bread was so fresh. I also tried their chicken gumbo. It was the special soup that day. So delicious! I think that they have a flavored ice tea on each day.

Love this little lunch spot! I got the salad and it left my full but not overly stuffed the clearview location doesn't offer eat fit Nola menu

I came in again today for lunch and was a little turned off by the cashier. My debit card is a bit old so the stripe wasn't working. As she was punching in my number she told me I should "order a new card because it costs businesses more money to punch in the numbers." I was a bit taken back-I'm giving them my money and my business so it came across like me purchasing my meal was costing them money (I come here at least 1-2x a week given I work in the area so it's not like I'm a one time customer). I was also shocked because the employees are usually always so friendly, so I'm not sure why I was spoken to this way today. Also, my family owns a deli, I've worked as a cashier for them before, I've punched in card numbers and it's never costed us more money as a business. Maybe it's different in Louisiana, but not where I'm from. With that said, afterwards I felt extremely uncomfortable, and have decided I'll just stick to their clearview location moving forward since now I just feel awkward. They still have great food and coffee, but I prefer not to have a cashier embarrass me when I'm paying for my meal

This place is huge, super clean and beautiful. Really friendly helpful staff!

This was my first experience at this location and let me just say," Like, WOW!" The staff here are amazing! So patient, informative and friendly. I walked in and was totally taken aback by the sheer size and PRISTINE cleanliness of this establishment, eclipsed only by the gregarious staff members! Delicious coffee... Great breakfast menu. I had a delicious egg cheese bacon&crossaint sandwich. Light and fluffy pastry, eggs and cheese. Dunno how, but the whole thing was fluff-AY...and super yummy! I will soon be returning for the shrimp salad crossaint sandwich, which was simply unforgettable at the Clearview location. But alas, that is on the lunch menu... So next time, my lovelies! Next time!

Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! I ordered Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with oat milk and I am not the biggest fan of it. There was a weird sour after taste to the coffee which I am unsure where it is coming from. I imagine if it was a little sweeter, it may have been more enjoyable. When I sat down to start on some work, I tried to connect to the cafe wifi, having seen the password posted on a sheet of paper near the counter. The wifi gave me and my friend a couple issues when trying to connect. After about 5-10 minutes of errors and no internet signals, we decided to use out hotspots. We were eventually able to use the wifi after maybe 30 minutes, so if you are able to find a connection, it is fine but if you are unable to, it can be frustrating.
