Egg coffee Pandan coffee

I love this place! The workers are so friendly and the coffee is bomb!!! I love Vietnamese iced coffee, and you can get some variety with the egg coffee and pandan coffee. Their food is super yummy too. I got the hot honey shrimp sliders, which was $15 total for three huge sliders which I think is a pretty good deal.

Whoever was working the drive thru today needs to fix their attitude that's all I can say. We ordered ONE kolache. We get to the window she says "one or two?" We said ONE. She rung up two. We said we only ordered ONE. She said "you just said you wanted two" with the stinkiest attitude and look on her face. No queen we said ONE two different times. It ain't our fault you hard of hearing

This place is a little hidden gem. It's a cute little place to have breakfast or brunch. There's a little patio for nice cool days. The staff is very welcoming. The food is impeccable. I enjoyed every bit of my food. It will definitely be a brunch spot in my rotation when I visit home.

Vietnamese coffee was amazing! Actually bought two for myself. Also had an egg/cheese cross aint that was on point. Donuts were great too. Service and speed was elite. The only issue are the prices. Kinda crazy having to spend $40 a dozen donuts/coffee/sandwhich. That's without the second coffee which was like $10 by itself.

Bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich, enormous portion. Bacon and edges of croissant were burnt, tasted just alright.

I moved recently, but forgot to update my review before leaving. I did go back and try one more thing before I left, and I will say the nutella croffle was amazing! Still never got any lunch food, but I still think about that croffle till this day. If I'm ever back on the WB around breakfast time, I will absolutely be stopping by for one! I also got the french toast iced latte and loved it.

Oh my! Vietnamese coffee is my new obsession and I loved it so much, I came here twice in one weekend! I ordered the ice cafe trung, both times! And what that is, is a classic Vietnamese egg coffee that combines chilled coffee with a rich and creamy whipped egg yolk topping, in addition to my favorite part - condensed milk! It was creamy and so smooth. I just really savored it, the second time anyway. I probably downed the first one in a minute and I ordered the large. Tthe condensed milk with the egg yolk flavors were singing! I had no idea I would love this so much and I am great I tried something new. I also ordered the special of the day, the fried chicken sandwich. It was crispy and I loved the pickles, but it was not my favorite fried chicken sandwich. Something was different with the batter, it was almost like a tempura, like fry, but the sauce did help. It was good enough for me to eat all of it. I also had a slice of the cookie butter cheesecake. It was very good too, again not my favorite, but again, I ate every bit of it. Their coffee was the star, and if I came here twice in one weekend for that coffee, that says a lot! I would love that coffee every day.

Been wanting to try this place out for so long, and finally got the chance to since I was in New Orleans. I think the drinks were good, a little on the sweeter side. The banh mi was decent too. What I loved the most was the interior decorations! My last name is Nguyen as well so I was definitely digging the vibes.

Came for Matcha but S'mores me please

Stopped in here on New Year's day just to have a matcha. No, saw the s'mores latte said new years resolutions start on Mondays only. So yummy. S'mores sometimes just tastes like sugar. But here they really gave the marshmallow chocolate cinnamon. Then I fell in love with how light and bright it was so I sat down to see what other trouble I could get into. Loved the bao bun. Good sweet and savory. After leaving I tried the cookies (oatmeal raisan and ube) and they were my favorite type of cookie. Like some how chewy but with a good bite from the outside. Not super sweet and allowing the flavor to shine. I do understand the folks who have 3 stars. They missed me with the chia pudding parfait. Every component was middle of the road. My surprise guest said the the crossaint sandwich was decent but bigger than anyone should want. They stopped eating the crossaint part on the second half. I will definitely be back. Unfortunately and fortunately I sat right where they were bringing out all the dine in orders and sooooo many things looked delicious. Wings and French toast especially.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I thought it was so cute and I'm so glad I found it. Me and my boyfriend came here for brunch while my cuz and her husband was at the 49ers game which they won btw... Sorry Saints :/ But anyways, this joint was so cute! I love the decor and vibe inside and outside. Restrooms were mad clean. Staff was super friendly. Food size was ginormous! And yummy at that!! My boyfriend and I loved it! We had a super cool experience here and would definitely come back if we're ever in New Orleans again :) Thanx Nguyeners!!!

Dough Nguyener's is 1 block from my home which makes it easy to enjoy all the good items that they have to offer. Just look at my pictures that I posted of all the pastries and Banh Mi sandwiches available here. During Mardi Gras season you can special order King Cakes which are pretty good. The fried chicken and hot honey sliders are legit as well. Just give at least 20 minutes for the fried chicken as it's cooked to order. The service here is awesome, parking is easy just across the street. The dining and restrooms are always clean. You order your food at the counter and then it's delivered to your table. You can also create an account their website for pickup or catering options. Enjoy and eat local!

Cleaning out my camera roll and came across this gem. Definitely a 10/10. It's been a minute since I've checked out this place, but definitely a go to whenever I'm in the area.

Love this place! Friendly staff and the cutest interior you can find! I always come back to their matcha drinks, even though they're a little more pricey but totally worth it. Also, they have the BIGGEST croissants ever!

This is a great lunch spot with an outdoor seating option. I love their pink brand color too! Inside, the tables are close together, making it tricky and uncomfortable to squeeze between them, especially when it's crowded. Tip for remote workers: If you're planning to work here, bring your laptop fully charged. There's only one accessible indoor outlet (by the front door), and it's a popular table. Outdoor outlets are available, but the WiFi doesn't work outside. Food & Drinks: Food-wise, I recommend the sliders, turkey sandwich, or Nguyening Wings with shrimp toast. The hot vanilla latte is decent. I've had better at cafes and coffee shops across the river, but this is the best coffee I've found on the Westbank. I also like that they keep clean cups on the counter if you want water. Other drink options include Coca-Cola products and iced tea. Heads up: Their menu is on the pricier side. If you're a french fry fanatic like me, I'd skip theirs. The shape is awkward, they're pricey, and they are sold separately from sandwiches. Unless you're splitting with others, you'll probably have leftovers. Pastries: Pastries aren't a strong point. Cupcakes I've tried haven't been fresh or moist, the strawberry cupcake tasted like a grocery store's boxed mix, and the chocolate cupcake icing was extremely hard both times I tried it. The turkey and Swiss croissant was just okay. Although it was heated, the turkey and cheese inside were cold. Service: Service tends to be better on weekends, as staff are more attentive, knowledgeable about entree's ingredients and availability of substitutions, and overall warmer and friendlier compared to weekday afternoons. I like that they have to-go containers on the counter so you don't have to wait for a staff member to bring one. I do wish there was a designated spot for used plates, since staff can take a while to clear them, especially outside. Heads up: The kitchen closes weekdays from 2-4 p.m. before reopening and weekends at 2 p.m. (the restaurant closes at 3 p.m. on weekends). During those times, you can still get pastries and drinks.

Do they sell king cakes by the slice?

I haven't seen that option, but they do have Mardi Gras themed donuts!

Are you open on Sunday?

I had been hearing about Antoine's Famous Cakes and Pastries and finally decided I had to check it…read moreout before heading back to Houston...I stopped by in the evening...only to find out they had already stopped making their glazed beignets at 5pm...the young lady there was polite and suggested I come back the next morning at 6am for a fresh batch. Not wanting to leave empty-handed...I grabbed a slice of cake and some sweet potato pie...and let me tell you...both were absolutely excellent...rich, flavorful, and worth every bite...that alone convinced me it would be worth making a return trip...so much so...I actually changed my travel plans from 4am to 6am just to try those beignets. The next morning...I arrived right at 6am...along with about five other customers already waiting outside...we stood there expecting the doors to open...but after a while...one customer called inside and was told they couldn't open because they didn't have a cashier yet...one by one...everyone left. I stayed until about 6:15am...hoping things would turn around...but eventually had to leave as well. That was definitely disappointing...especially knowing they lost at least five or more customers that morning. I'm really hoping this was just a one-time situation...because based on the cake and pie alone...this place has something special...I'll definitely give them another shot on my next visit... but hopefully next time...the service matches the quality of the desserts.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.
