It's been a while since I came back to Le Cafe Eblouir, so I decided to stop by on a Monday morning before work. After coming back, my experience was the same as last time... really great! The service was fast and friendly. The inside still has a chill aesthetic to it like before. I got a large Iced Tiramisu Latte (with tax = $8.51). The tiramisu foam the shop makes is made from scratch so it's all fresh! The coffee tasted really good, but the caffeine definitely hits you instantly since it's a cold brew mixed with that tiramisu foam. Absolutely delightful little, unpretentiously located sweets boutique. Hot and cold drinks available, including bottled Perrier. Order at counter, pick up at counter. Went looking for ice cream and found something better. Food/dessert menu seems to rotate. Customers inside were mostly two to a table, and atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. We ordered a turkey sandwich, which had to be the best we've ever had, complete with crisp lettuce, lots of hard-boiled eggs, a subtle sweet-ish dressing and tomato. $8 and it was well worth it. Our desserts consisted of a large croissant with sliced strawberries and whipped cream, an elderberry fresh made macaron ($3.50), and an AMAZING huge slice of Mango Chiffon cake ($7.25). We decided to switch it up today from our usual and ordered the Strawberry matcha latte/ White chocolate latte, which were both delicious! I'm not usually one to be drawn to Strawberry matcha lattes because I'm afraid that it would take away from the Matcha, but I would rate this a 8.5/10! Not too sweet or overpowering. I was hitting up the Aldi in the same strip and saw this adorable shop. So I decided I deserved a little treat. I had a perfect black iced tea... which is rarer than you think. And really enjoyed my monkey bread and croissant. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and airy. And parking is plentiful. read more

My go to study spot!!! I'm literally there everyday it's like I work there LOL! Their matcha is sooo good, definitely the best matcha in NOLA. Their earl grey is so delicious that it gets sold out most of the time (10/10 recommend). It's very spacious and study friendly (minimal outlets tho). The service here has been lacking, unfortunately. I gave it a few visits before updating my review, but it's been a bummer. I stopped in today and am kind of regretting bringing my friends here. The cashiers don't greet you and they hardly speak when you order. There was confusion between some customers about drinks and, because the baristas don't talk, they let someone touch all over the top of another customer's drink. We heard them speaking poorly about another customer. The vibes were all around bad. Most people who came in (while we waited a long time for one drink) left promptly after ordering. They make a great matcha. I got their hot matcha latte with oat milk and no sweetener it was really good, not grainy and great flavor 7.5/10. I got a almond croissant as well it was okay not enough almond cream in the middle and overall too dry and I got it warm for optimum flavor but it wasn't hitting like I needed it to 6/10. My favorite cafe in the westbank. I love getting the tiramisu latte and iced matcha latte. The matcha here has to be one of the best. The service is always amazing when I come in. One million percent YES!!! I was greatly anticipating this experience due to reviews and they didn't let me down! I purchased the mini strawberries and creme stuff almond croissant, the bad choco chocolate covered chocolate croissant, the avocado toast, and the mango bingsu. I know, it was a lot but I was so eager to try it! The strawberries and creme was light, fresh, ripe, and perfectly balance on a lightly flaky, perfectly textured slightly sweet almond croissant. The bad choco was actually the best chocolate croissant I've ever had! The croissant was flaky, layered, buttery, and heavenly. The chocolate on top I expected to be a harder more fake chocolate texture but it was not, I was amazed that it's a creamy, thick layer of real chocolate with a coco powder dusting. The chocolate on the inside was a slightly crunchy texture and really came together to make this a next level experience. I also have to add that I LOVE chocolate croissants and have eaten them around the world to include Paris, Germany, Japan, and across the US but I don't buy them anytime I see them anymore because out of all those places, they usually always taste pretty close with no standouts. I found my stand out and will come back here again and again for these. The avocado toast was more filling than I expected being only one slice of toast. The toast is perfectly toasted, fresh and flavorful avocado, balsamic drizzle, fresh tomatoes, sliced egg (extra$), and everything bagel seasoning. It was sooo good! The bingsu was so fun to eat and delicious! I love the light airy shaved ice, the fresh flavor of mango, and the light milky bottom. I got the chewy mochi which added another fun texture. I would love to try strawberry next. Before leaving I ended up getting a salted caramel macaron and fruit tart to go, both were amazing!!!The setting is really clean and cozy with soothing music and the staff was delightful! I love this little bakery! The location is a little hidden in a shopping strip but I love how close it is to my house. The inside is small and cute and I've always had good customer service. Their iced Earl Grey latte with almond milk is my absolute favorite! Their iced matcha is also delicious and SO much better than the matcha drinks sold at Starbucks. As for dessert, I've had their creme brûlée, tiramisu and chiffon cakes. 100% recommend all of these but I'm partial to the Earl Grey chiffon cake. Although the matcha shaved ice was very tasty and not too sweet, the sesame seed coated mochi bites that came with it were way too hard and chewy than any mochi I've ever had in other parts of the U.S. Not good for those wearing dentures, dental crowns, or braces.
