Good luck trying to book anything through their automated service. Tried to call (to speak to a human) for a quick fill while I was in town for business. There was no opportunity to speak to a person to clarify what I was asking. The automated service offered an appointment with zero flexibility and didn't book it when I agreed. Then, 3 minutes later after confirming I wanted the time that was mentioned, the appointment was no longer available. Any lash artist would have been able to "squeeze me in", and I would have happily paid a foreign fill fee and last minute fee. The impersonal nature of this business is emblematic of their regard for clients. If you don't mind that, then sure - this place is fab. read more

Fantastic staff TERRIBLE product. Been a client for over 3 years. Have every maintenance product sold and use religiously to ensure proper care and continued adhesion. Last 4 applications by 2 different technicians have resulted in 80%+ lashes falling out the SAME DAY or by the next morning! Follow all after care instructions to a "t". Corporate office is a total JOKE and was advised that only 1 "do-over" was allowed per 60 days. I asked for the policy and was told "well it's not actually written"- LOL. PLEASE READ BEFORE TRYING: I went for an eyelash fill-in. They charged $120. After 2 days I had clumps of eyelashes falling out. I tried to call but they only will speak via text (for evidence I'm assuming) and they offered me 2 different days to come in to fix it. A Sunday afternoon and a Tuesday at 5pm. Both I couldn't make. They then said they don't do refunds. The eyelashes also took out my natural lash. I've had my lashes done for years and never had this big of an issue. The fans they put on are pre-made. The lashes are cheap and stiff. I'm not sure how they are still in business. Even a partial refund would have been acceptable. They make you sign long paperwork beforehand, taking away their responsibility. It's crazy how they can get away with this terrible service. Can't imagine they will be there long. RUN, DON'T WALK! Awful in every way! I had a set of lashes applied for an upcoming event. When I woke up the next morning, most of the lashes from my left eye had fallen off. I called but they didn't have any openings until after my event. They were not accommodating or apologetic. I insisted that I was coming in to have them removed before the event because there was no way I could go with lashes on one eye and not the other. They agreed to fit me in. When I went in to have the lashes replaced, the technician agreed that perhaps the glue was aged and they should not have fallen off like that. She replaced the lashes on my left eye. Two days later, all the lashes fell off my right eye. So now, I have lashes on one eye and not the other for a second time! I made an appointment to get all of the lashes removed. I wear lashes frequently and this should not happen. These lashes should be wearable for at least two weeks as long as you are cleaning them appropriately and taking proper care. I will also mention that during my first appointment, I purchased their cleaning foam and cleaning brush. When I arrived to get the lashes removed, there was someone in line at the register. I waited. When it was my turn, the person behind the register was the same person who applied the faulty lashes the first time. She looked disgusted to see me and said, "You'll have to wait. I need to cancel an appointment." I said OK, no problem and asked her if I could run to the bathroom real quick. When I came out from the bathroom, I asked if she was ready for me. "No, I have to clean a bed." So I waited. When she finally approached me, she said my next appointment is going to be here in 20 minutes and I don't think we're going to have time to do this. What?!?! "Well you're the one who's been making me wait," I said. She responded and said that I was late for my appointment. I told her my appointment was at 11:30 and I walked in the door at 11:31. It's not my fault that she made me wait and the only reason I went to the bathroom was because she said wasn't ready for me. She very begrudgingly removed my lashes which BURNED like crazy! The location is nice and clean. Julianna did a great job explaining their services and style options available. The first install didn't take long at all. I may have been an hour tops. I gave this 3 stars because as employees walked in they weren't friendly. Two individuals walked in and said nothing. A simple "Hello" would have been nice and appreciated. As a business owner myself, I'm a stickler about customer service and experiences. The second reason is because the application didn't last. Within an hour of getting them installed, I lost several lashes. Within 24-48 hours, I lost more and in less than a week (5 days) it looks like I never got them done. I've had lashes installed before (not at this location) and never experienced this amount of shedding. I really like Deka lash fort mill location. I did it for a month. Really pretty but I don't like having to tip every single time I went. For instance, I went 3 times last month (November), a long month. I tipped every time and that gets expensive. It already cost a lot to get your lashes done to begin with. I have been and seen most all of the lash artists at this location. I signed up for the monthly service which is 120. Last visit i was told i had to pay for my visit 60. My lashes did not even last a week. I had noticed from prior visits the lashes falling out within the 1st week. I called within a week of my last visit to cancel my subscription because i am not happy with the service. They still charged my account 120 and are refusing to refund my money..DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! That is horrible business practices and a horrible product!! Have been going to deka lash for several months now. Price is a little high for lash extensions. One thing I noticed is once you sign up for a membership, you cannot cancel your account. I was told I needed to cancel 30 days before my membership fee was charged to my account. I have been getting the "run around" from corporate and they cannot help me cancel my $189 membership. Previously I had my account froze over the holidays to save money. Without my permission, my account was charged and unfroze. At that point I figured I might as well get them done since I was charged anyways. I requested a cancellation of my membership and was informed that I am not able to cancel at the store locations and needed to do that through customer service. I called customer service three times. The first time no one was available that could cancel my account that day. Another time I was told I needed to do that on the day that my membership fee of $189 would come out. My last time I was told I could not cancel my account and if I paid it but didn't go for any appointments, they couldn't refund me because they do not give refunds. So I am forced to continue to pay for a deka lash membership and there's no way corporate can cancel my account. I implore anyone considering a membership here to reconsider. There are many other lash services that will not trap you into a continuous payment of membership fees every month. Seek other options. I am being forced to contact an attorney to force a stop to the charges on my account. read more
